Just got them in mail tried them on fit great over pants have not rode with them yet but will soon.
These pants are comfortable and are great for the hot days when I all I want to do is wear shorts. I will not ride without the proper gear (I shudder when I see people in tanks, short, flipflops) so these can just hang out in the saddlebags until I am ready go for a ride. I am a fair weather rider so I have not had a chance to test the water proof claim. I would recommend these pants to anyone!
The pants are snug with the liner and fit very well without the liner. Most of the time the liner is not needed. They are comfortable and easy to put on.
As was mentioned in the reviews prior to mine.
SIZING is the issue as I bought what "should" have been really roomy on me.
They were only roomy enough when I took out all padding and the liner.
They are VERY well built and well worth their original price, and a steal at the discounted one.
Great Pants, good quality.
i ordered med size and it was too big long and baggyaround waistso i got a refund and bought a different kind a lot better i havent tested it good company to deal i would buy again
Ésta calça é espetacular para a próxima viagem em maio ao Uruguai pois protege da chuva, e do frio, além dos reforços para casos de quedas. Confortável e excelente custo benefício.
good product at great price . i don,t wear it yet , but it fit comfortable when i try it on.Desmond
pants were a great Price and they fit well. Like other reviews I read, The side straps ripped of instantly as soon as I tried tightening. Fit well over pants and didn;t have the "saggy crotch" issue that others had. All in all good pants (except for the straps).
I bought these pants for christmas for my daughter's boyfriend. He and I haven't always had the easiest relationship so when these arrived he was thrilled! He said the fit is a bit weird but they work really well in the cold Indiana weather this year. I even got a smile from him. The crotch, which was mentioned in other reviews is a bit loose and the legs a bit tight, but he said he can wear his jeans underneath for work with plenty of room. He's very happy with them.
Great pants, well made. Run a little small so might have to order one size up.
I'm wearing these pants for riding my cruiser when the weather gets cold and they are very effective in keeping me warm. Highly recommended - peace!
These pants are very warm. love that the liner is removable. :o) Great Price and fast shipping!! Thank you!!
Comfortable, great fit, love 'em!
More times than not, these internet ads exaggerate the product quality and performance. Not in this case. The first time I wore them, I got caught in a rain storm, and the pants kept my bottom half dry and warm. Hopefully, I will never have to try the skid pads, but I am sure they will work, too!
This is not my first purchase of these motorcycle pants. You can't beat them for the price! Well constructed and very roomy for over other pants. They do run very large.
The pants are great with & without the liner.
I have worn these pants every trip out since I got them. I have ridden in low 30s temps several times and have not even needed the zip-out liner! The pants are super comfortable and a breeze to pull on and off. I would recommend these to anyone.
Good deal for some reasonably warm and waterproof pants. They are a little bulky as has been mentioned, and I initially chose the wrong size. I wear a 38 pants, and using these as overpants, only need a XL. I would recommend NOT going a size up as suggested above.
The LP2821 Riding Pants is one of the best values in riding pants you’ll find. Similar name brand pants can go for more than three times the money. They’re made of a high grade, water resistant poly-nylon blend with reinforced ballistic panels in the knees. They come in black and are available in sizes extra small thru five-X. and are sized to be worn as regular pair of pants. If you would like to wear these as overpants, measure your waist while wearing whatever you plan on wearing under your riding pants. Billy B.A., here, is 5”10”, 160, with a 32” waist, and is wearing a size medium with no jeans on underneath and the liner installed.
They’ve really nailed the feature design on the 2821’s. This pant design accommodates all different shapes of riders and different riding positions, as a result of the belt adjusted stretch panels on each side of the waist, as well as the stretch panels in the upper seat and the knees.
They have also done a very good job of keeping the water out, despite the lack of waterproof zippers. The main closer is protected on the outside by this combination snap and hook and loop cover flap. Inside the zipper is a gusset that’s waterproof thanks to the taped seam liner that is found throughout the pants. On either side of the fly, are flap protected zippered pockets for storage.
The zippered gusset design can also be found at the cuffs. This feature’s simplicity really helps keep the water out and the price down, but the lack of a full leg closure makes this model less suitable as an over pant, because they are going to be pretty tedious to get on and off with jeans on.
Protection is also ample on the 2821’s. There is memory foam padding in the hips, CE approved armor in the knees, and reflective piping for added nighttime visibility. On the back of the pants, a zippered panel has been added to allow the pants to be attached to your riding jacket. This helps to keep the skin of your lower back covered and protected in a crash.
Inside the waist, you can see the zipper for removing the quilted thermal liner. To get the liner out, you will also need to unsnap the liner at the cuffs.
