A lot of rain suit for the money. Other rain suits I’ve seen (costing more) cannot compare to this one. Heavy duty with lots of features. Don’t evaluate from the picture. The suit’s color is closer to silver-gray and looks better than pictured. This suit looks sharp. No cheap rubber or plastic look and feel. NOT light weight – more heavy duty. Runs large. I’m 6 ft., 205 lbs. and bought the large which fits.

Looks like a quality suit but the pants are too short so I'll be sending it back. Jacket fits well and a lot of features for the money
Worn it twice in heavy rain works great fits well slightly oversized to fit over jacket. Kept me very dry during a hard rain. Solid sturdy construction with a mesh liner makes it easy to get on and off. Had people comment on the visibility of suit.
I don't plan to ride in the rain, but I do get caught. The weather here has been so changeable I purchased this suit and have used it twice. It got me home dry. Well made and reasonably priced.
Excellent rain gear. Wore the suit during journey from STL, MO to Sturgis Rally 2013. Rider was dry in downpour, and suit held up to the water displaced by semis and combines sharing the same road. Highly recommend this suit (and the colors match the bike)!
Although I haven't used this suit yet, the on time delivery and qualty seem to be there. The fit is almost perfect...went by previous reviews and ordered like they said and it was correct. Will do another review after using it in rain.
I purchased this rain suit for a friend of ours that is rather tall at 6'1" and finding a rain suit with long arms and legs is totally amazing. The price is great too.
MAN TALK ABOUT SERVICE !!! GREAT !!!! I recieved the Suit before I expected it ONly to say how HAPPY I am with it . MADE GREAT and I ordered by the reviews size and a perfect fit !! VERY SATISFIED !!! GREAT WORK JAFRUM . THANKS !!! Doris
I went to Sturgis this year and the one time I wore these the "Heat panel" didn't hold up to any heat and melted right onto the pipe.....so make sure that you have no contact with the pipes if you wear this suit.
Nice rain suit, didn't get to use it in the rain yet, but seems durable. I'm 6'1" 185#. Went with the large, glad I did, the medium would not have been tall enough. The arms are a little shorter than I'd like, but it will work. Good suit for the price. Takes up some space in the saddlebags though, doesn't compress down real small.
Very nice rain suit for the price. Heavier material and good quality fasteners. Used it once so far on a ten mile ride in a moderate rain and it kept me dry. That's all I can ask!
Awesome item. Price was fantastic. Highly recommend!
True to size, well made. Silver not white, which I like. Hope to avoid the rain, but should keep me dry.
Great gear for price, quality, and performance!!Make sure you go off of size chart. They run BIG. Was not sure about ordering small per chart but fits great. Highly recommend this gear and Jafrum site to all!!
I am short, 5' even, average build. I bought a small,,way too big, pants hung on the ground while sitting on bike. sold it to a friend and reodered extra small. Had 2nd suit within 1 week of ordering 1st suit...wow...wore it in the rain, stayed warm and dry.
I received my rain suit today. Shipping was prompt. 3 days to Long Isalnd, NY. The rain suit is of excellent quality. The color appears white in the ad, but it is acually silver/grey, which I like better. Also the suit pants have snap on/off boot straps which aren't shown in the ad. Obviously I havent had the chance to field test the suit yet, but I can't see it not performing as advertised. As far as sizing is concerned, I am 6'1" 185lbs. I orderd a medium and it fits perfectly. Not looking forward to riding in the rain, but now when I do, I'm confident I'll be well protected. For only $50.00 you can't go wrong. 4 1/2 stars now because I haven't had the chance to actually wear the suit in the rain yet.
Great love it. Fits well and looks good. Follow the instructions for ordering and you can't go wrong. It's a bit heavy so in warm rain it might be a bit warm but that's ok. Nice and dry. I recommend it get it
I have waited to write my review because I wanted to get use of the rain suit. Now that I have used it, I love it. I am a female, who is 5'8" and 168lbs. who ordered a med. suit - I could have gotten away with a small since I live in a tropical climate and don't wear motorcycle apparel when riding. The two piece rainsuit is definitely warm on those cold night rides and I recommend it to anyone who is looking to purchase a rain suit. It is made out of good material and looks better in reality than in the picture.
This has been a great rainsuit. I ride daily in the rain of WA. Suit fits great and is comfortable in a wide range of motion. Plenty of room to add layers under the jacket. Great value for my money.
Great value for the buck! Good Quality
A rain suit is a necessary item in any rider's apparel collection. Even if you don't ever plan on riding in the rain, there are some things that are simply not in your control. If you have ever gotten soaked to the bone with cold rain 30 or more miles away from home, you probably already own one of these. Rain suits are made in a variety of styles and materials most of which are available on our website, Jafrum.com
The Thunder Under RS5000 two piece rainsuit is made from nylon. Nylon is a good fabric for a rainsuit because it is lightweight, easy to pack, and somewhat breathable. It can also be very reasonably priced. This complete suit with all of the features I'm about to show you is on sale on Jafrum.com for sub sixty bucks. The only downsides to nylon as a rainsuit fabric are that it is not flexible, most rainsuits aren't flexible, and it doesn't hold up to sunlight very well. All that means to you the rider is that you don't want to lay it out in the sun for extended periods of time to dry. If you take proper care of a nylon suit it will provide you with protection from the elements for many years and miles.
This rainsuit has just about every feature available in this type of apparel, and It is available in this one color way. The suit is primarily gray with black accents and has high viz panels in the sleeves of the jacket and high viz piping on the sleeves of the jacket and down the leg of the pants.
Let's take a closer look at the three quarter length jacket. This jacket has a durable plastic zipper that is covered by these dual panels and secured with a hook and loop system to ensure a waterproof closure. All the seams are tape sealed as well to keep the water out. There is a hidden hood in the collar to keep water from running down your neck into the jacket. The two pockets on the front are water resistant but I would be careful with cell phones and electronics because there is no closure system for the flap.
The fit on this jacket is very adjustable. There are adjustable straps on the front that are combined with a stretch panel on the back to reduce buffeting at speed. The only feature that is missing on this jacket that would be nice is maybe some adjusters on the sleeves. They're nice to have to keep the jacket quiet especially if you ride a bike with little or no wind screen. The cuffs are fully adjustable with stretch panels on one side and an adjustable hook and loop closure on the other.
The interior of the jacket has been equipped with a mesh lining. This will help wick moisture away from your skin and also keep the rain gear from sticking to your skin when you start to sweat.
Now let's get a look at the pants. The waist of the pants is stretchy all the way around and has a draw string for adjustability. The cuffs of the legs are also adjustable with zippered expanders and waterproof gussets. The pocket on the pants does have a closure system and is almost completely waterproof. There are reinforced panels in high wear areas on the both the backside and also on the legs where the fabric can come into high heat areas and rub on footpegs. The legs also have removable stirups to help keep your pantlegs from riding up and letting water into your boots.
