Never needed raingear until this past week. 3 hours in a pretty steady rain and this gear kept me dry. Great value and if the first time is an indication, these will be hard to beat.

"Had this suit for 2 seasons. Rode in heavy steady rain, and stayed dry. End of last season the pants showed wear. Jacket still going strong. Will buy another set. I recommend this suit. I have and still look at the rain suits in MC stores, and have not found a better deal. 6'1 270lbs 4x suit fit with leather jacket."
"Nice Rain Suit. Brightly colored for good visibility on cloudy, foggy, rainy days. Fits well. Is comfortable over clothes. Ordered a size up for both me and my boyfriend to be sure. Fortunately haven't had a chance to use it yet in rain, but feel it will do the job of keeping us dry if/when necessary to get from point A to point B. |Jafrum is a good seller and ships very fast."
"Very pleased with this product. The price was the cheapest I found and I thought the quality was as good as rainsuits that cost twice as much. I was also pleased with how rapid the order was processed. I got my order in 2 days."

"VERY fast shipping and the suit is just what I was looking for. Fit was about the same as my normal size, and the value is unbeatable. This is a great suit to have if you are on a budget. I thought the leg zippers were not going to allow for enough room for boots, but it turns out that it works just fine! Thanks Jafrum!"

"I had never used this site and took a chance on ordering a rainsuit that I needed to have "just in case" for a 5 day trip across 3 states. I placed the order on a Holiday Sunday (Easter) and paid for overnight shipping thinking I might get it in about 4 or 5 days. I got a message the following morning that my order had been fulfiled and was scheduled to deliver to me the next day. I got it today and was blown away with the excellent quality. I have no idea how they sell them for this price! (But don't raise the price OK!) Great Job. I'll be back!"
"Best raingear for the money I have ever found. Great service as well."
"Super service and very well made rain suit."
A rain suit is a necessary item in any rider's apparel collection. Even if you don't ever plan on riding in the rain, there are some things that are simply not in your control. If you have ever gotten soaked to the bone with cold rain 30 or more miles away from home, you probably already own one of these. Rain suits are made in a variety of styles and materials most of which are available on our website, Jafrum.com
The Thunder Under RS5001 two piece rainsuit is made from nylon. Nylon is a good fabric for a rainsuit because it is lightweight, easy to pack, and somewhat breathable. It can also be very reasonably priced. This complete suit with all of the features I'm about to show you is on sale on Jafrum.com for less than forty five dollars. The only downsides to nylon as a rainsuit fabric are that it is not flexible, most rainsuits aren't flexible, and it doesn't hold up to sunlight very well. All that means to you the rider is that you don't want to lay it out in the sun for extended periods of time to dry. If you take proper care of a nylon suit it will provide you with protection from the elements for many years and miles.
This rainsuit has almost every feature available in this type of apparel, and It is available in six color ways. The suits are primarily black with accent color choices of yellow, blue, gray, orange, pink, and red. There is high viz piping on the sleeves of the jacket, across the chest, and across the back. There is more high viz in the form of these panels near the cuffs of the pants as well
Let's take a closer look at the three quarter length jacket. This jacket has a durable plastic zipper that is covered by these dual panels and secured with a hook and loop system to ensure a waterproof closure. All the seams are tape sealed as well to keep the water out. The dual pockets on the front of the jacket have full width hook and loop closures making them nearly completely waterproof.
The fit on this jacket is very adjustable. There is a stretchy band all the way around the jacket to reduce buffeting at speed and there are pull tabs at the bottom to snug up the opening. The only feature that is missing on this jacket that would be nice is maybe some adjusters on the sleeves. They're nice to have to keep the jacket quiet especially if you ride a bike with little or no wind screen. The cuffs are fully adjustable with stretch panels on one side, an adjustable hook and loop closure on the other, and a zippered expander with a waterproof gusset.
The interior of the jacket has been equipped with a mesh lining. This will help wick moisture away from your skin and also keep the rain gear from sticking to your skin when you start to sweat.
Now let's get a look at the pants. The waist of the pants is stretchy all the way around and has a draw string for adjustability. The cuffs of the legs are also adjustable with zippered expanders and waterproof gussets. The pocket on the pants has a hook and loop closure system and is almost completely waterproof. There are reinforced panels in high wear areas on the both the backside and also on the legs where the fabric can come into high heat areas and rub on footpegs. The legs also have removable stirups to help keep your pantlegs from riding up and letting water into your boots.
