Bought For Work

by - verified purchaser
This is the second set of this gear that I've purchased and while I have a set for riding the bike I bought this last set to wear in the rain and snow for work. I drive a propane truck and found the fit of the rain gear to work well for this application too. I still use the other set for riding and still think this is a high quality product for a good price otherwise I wouldn't have purchased the second set for work. It gives room to move and keeps me dry. The fold away hood keeps the rain out and isn't so large that you can see without it falling over your face.
A couple of the guys I work with have asked where I bought this, so Jafrum, I think you'll receive a few extra orders. Thanks!

Fast shipping, true to size chart. Rode 15 miles through a torrential downpour and stayed completely dry. Also, the mesh lining worked well since I didnt feel sweaty or clammy.very pleased.

I am very pleased with the quality of my rainsuit. Seems to be very well made. I haven't used it in the rain so I cannot comment on that part, yet. It tends to run on the large side, I wanted it big in order to fit over layers of clothing. I'm female, 5'1" and hippy, I ordered a large. The pants are fine just a little long but the jacket is extremely big and it has no drawstring to pull it in. Overall though its fine.

Bought this for emergencies as bikes and rain slick roads don't Well, 3 days after I tucked them in my saddle bag I got caught out on bike night. Suited up in 5 minutes and was dry when I got home, enough said. You can't find a better hooded suit any cheaper. Jafrum always has the best gear at the best price!
Thanks again Jafrum,
Happy Riding!

RS5005 Review

by - verified purchaser
I purchased this rain suit for myself. Living in Florida, I knew that if I wanted to do any decent amount of riding, I'd need to invest in decent gear, and this purchase was no exception. I've used it twice and kept bone dry both times. It's easy to get on and off and the size chart is pretty spot on. I measured over my regular clothes, not what I normally wear to ride, and the suit fit over all my gear very well (I tend to be an ATGATT girl). This suit also dries quickly and compacts down well enough to easily fit into my bike's saddlebags. No regrets whatsoever on this one...

Thunder Under Motorcycle Rain Gear RS5005 Review

I ordered the Thunder Under rain suit on Tuesday and it was sitting on the front porch on Thursday afternoon. It was heavier than I expected and is great quality. I'm 6'1", 230, ordered the XL and found it just the right size. The jacket fits nicely with room to move and the pants will easily fit over heavy clothing wihout taking off my boots. A great bargain! Jafrum, you've done it again!

This is a FANTASTIC deal! An excellent suit! Sizing does run large, which is good as I am 6'3"/260lbs. I do wish the pants had a "stirrup" strap.

Great Suit!

I bought this as a replacement - I needed a low cost suit that would serve me on daily work commutes. This one is fantastic! The sizing DOES run large, so check the charts and believe them! I get a lot of the summer Florida thunderstorms, and have been dry without exception!

Purchased the rain suit to have in my vehicle. Two days after getting it, I was caught in a heavy down pour and I had to be in it. This suit was comfortable and kept my dry. Wish I would have one months ago.

Thunder Under Motorcycle Rain Gear RS5005 Review

by - verified purchaser
My husband bought a suit for alot more money just before he left with friends for a bike week. While he was gone I ordered this one for me. He was very impressed with this suit when I showed it to him upon his return. He said it was almost as good as the one he bought for over twice as much! I had read all the reviews about sizes and got the correct size. This is a great suit and I am looking forward to staying dry on rides.

Great rain suit. True to size. I was worried about being too hot. The suit was not hot at all. The size was true and easy to put on. It was an awesome price as well. I would recommend this suit for all.

A rain suit is a necessary item in any rider's apparel collection. Even if you don't ever plan on riding in the rain, there are some things that are simply not in your control. If you have ever gotten soaked to the bone with cold rain 30 or more miles away from home, you probably already own one of these. Rain suits are made in a variety of styles and materials most of which are available on our website,

The Thunder Under RS5000 two piece rainsuit is made from nylon. Nylon is a good fabric for a rainsuit because it is lightweight, easy to pack, and somewhat breathable. It can also be very reasonably priced. This complete suit with all of the features I'm about to show you is on sale on for sub sixty bucks. The only downsides to nylon as a rainsuit fabric are that it is not flexible, most rainsuits aren't flexible, and it doesn't hold up to sunlight very well. All that means to you the rider is that you don't want to lay it out in the sun for extended periods of time to dry. If you take proper care of a nylon suit it will provide you with protection from the elements for many years and miles.

This rainsuit has just about every feature available in this type of apparel, and It is available in five color ways. All the suits are mostly black with accent color choices of orange, yellow, blue, red, and gray.

Let's take a closer look at the three quarter length jacket. This jacket has a durable plastic zipper that is covered by these dual panels and secured with a hook and loop system to ensure a waterproof closure. All the seams are tape sealed as well to keep the water out. There is a hidden hood in the collar to keep water from running down your neck into the jacket. The look is very clean because there are no pockets, waist adjusters, or stretch panels on this jacket. They left the stretch areas off the sleeves as well as some folks do not like the feeling against their skin for extended periods. There is a hook and loop type adjuster though for a secure fit.

The interior of the jacket has been equipped with a mesh lining. This will help wick moisture away from your skin and also keep the rain gear from sticking to your skin when you start to sweat.

Now let's get a look at the pants. The waist of the pants is stretchy all the way around and has a draw string for adjustability. The cuffs of the legs are also adjustable with zippered expanders and waterproof gussets. The pocket on the pants has a full width hook and loop closure system and is almost completely waterproof. There are reinforced panels in high wear areas on the both the backside and also on the legs where the fabric can come into high heat areas of the bike and rub on footpegs. The legs also have removable stirups to help keep your pantlegs from riding up and letting water into your boots. These pants do not have the mesh lining found in the jacket.

what size is a 2xs?
A shopper on Nov 10, 2014
Best Answer:I'm 6ft tall and weigh 260. I wear a 38x32 pant and xl/2xl shirt. I ordered the 2xl and it was way too big. I had to send the back for the xl. Got the xl and they were perfect.
