Well made, good quality for the price, have already used it and rode 50 miles home in the rain and stayed dry.
Very nice and good quality
Love the quality of this suit, as for wether it works in the rain, l have no idea. But if the suit is from Jafrum l believe it will work well. All Jafrum gear is great!!
wonderfully fast shipping as always, good, product, fits well, and seems sturdy. Haven't got to test it out much yet, but very pleased so far.
My husband bought a suit for alot more money just before he left with friends for a bike week. While he was gone I ordered this one for me. He was very impressed with this suit when I showed it to him upon his return. He said it was almost as good as the one he bought for over twice as much! I had read all the reviews about sizes and got the correct size. This is a great suit and I am looking forward to staying dry on rides.
chart sizing helped out alot also i thought it would be cheaply made for the price but its not.have not had top use it yet but i'm sure it will work well.
The two piece suit seems to be of good quality. Easily packs into bike without taking up a lot of room. Great doing business with Jafrum.
Like the Suit, Fit was Nice and works well in Light rain, Heavy rain for 8 hrs it started to soak thru. My Leathers were getting wet but It was put thru a lot. Hood was nice after I rememered it had one, kept the water from seeping in and running down my neck. Sheild were nice so that suit didn't melt to my headers. Straps on bottom a plus to keep water out and suit pulled down. Jafrum I always have good quick service from.
I must admit that that for the price I wasn't expecting much, however, my first experience with it under heavy torrential tropical rain I came out dry. I had a small problem adjusting the pats at ankle area, as I didn't have it tight enough. It fits comfortable and I ve been using the jacket on a daily basis under cool to warm weather and it feels comfortable too.
I ride 100 miles a day commuting rain or shine. This suit works well as I expect from Jafrum!
For the price, can't beat em! I bought this set specifically for emergency rain storms, etc...so I am not going to ding due to ventilation/breathing...IF you intent to wear daily for long periods, expect a little condensation inside suit, it does not breath well. But it will keep you dry during a heavy downpour. I've encountered two so far, riding, or walking around, dry as dry gets (less a little persperation). Worth it for your emergency tote.
Looks to be good quality. Bought for planned trip to have just in case. Nice gear for the price.
The rain gear is good not as thick as other vendors, but it fits well complain is the wrist part of the jacket is fits very lose and need to add an additional band around it, and no vent on the suit...
Love it i like the hood so rain dont go down our backs. Great price, great deal
I'm 5' 10" 210 lbs. I ordered large and its a perfect fit allowing to wear over riding clothes. Quality suit for a fraction of the price! Highly recommend for someone looking to buy wet weather gear!
Rode 20 miles in the rain average 50 MPH, stayed dry. What else needs to be said. Leather gloves were soaked and the tops of my socks were wet, everything under the suit was dry. My legs felt soaked as I rode but they were just chilled. No fairing just a small windshield. I ordered Large. I am 6' 1" 220, xl T shirt size. I liked the fit of the large. My daughter at 5'6" 120 xxxs fit great. good job jafrum.
Like the quality and the sizing, easily able to get it over my other gear when caught out in the rain. Delivery was quik and efficient.
The rain suit and helmet i ordered where great quick shipping and the rain suit was such a great product i ordered another one for my husband
Every part of this transaction was great, The price was very reasonable for the suit we purchased. I would truly recommend this.
A rain suit is a necessary item in any rider's apparel collection. Even if you don't ever plan on riding in the rain, there are some things that are simply not in your control. If you have ever gotten soaked to the bone with cold rain 30 or more miles away from home, you probably already own one of these. Rain suits are made in a variety of styles and materials most of which are available on our website, Jafrum.com
The Thunder Under RS5000 two piece rainsuit is made from nylon. Nylon is a good fabric for a rainsuit because it is lightweight, easy to pack, and somewhat breathable. It can also be very reasonably priced. This complete suit with all of the features I'm about to show you is on sale on Jafrum.com for sub sixty bucks. The only downsides to nylon as a rainsuit fabric are that it is not flexible, most rainsuits aren't flexible, and it doesn't hold up to sunlight very well. All that means to you the rider is that you don't want to lay it out in the sun for extended periods of time to dry. If you take proper care of a nylon suit it will provide you with protection from the elements for many years and miles.
This rainsuit has just about every feature available in this type of apparel, and It is available in five color ways. All the suits are mostly black with accent color choices of orange, yellow, blue, red, and gray.
Let's take a closer look at the three quarter length jacket. This jacket has a durable plastic zipper that is covered by these dual panels and secured with a hook and loop system to ensure a waterproof closure. All the seams are tape sealed as well to keep the water out. There is a hidden hood in the collar to keep water from running down your neck into the jacket. The look is very clean because there are no pockets, waist adjusters, or stretch panels on this jacket. They left the stretch areas off the sleeves as well as some folks do not like the feeling against their skin for extended periods. There is a hook and loop type adjuster though for a secure fit.
The interior of the jacket has been equipped with a mesh lining. This will help wick moisture away from your skin and also keep the rain gear from sticking to your skin when you start to sweat.
Now let's get a look at the pants. The waist of the pants is stretchy all the way around and has a draw string for adjustability. The cuffs of the legs are also adjustable with zippered expanders and waterproof gussets. The pocket on the pants has a full width hook and loop closure system and is almost completely waterproof. There are reinforced panels in high wear areas on the both the backside and also on the legs where the fabric can come into high heat areas of the bike and rub on footpegs. The legs also have removable stirups to help keep your pantlegs from riding up and letting water into your boots. These pants do not have the mesh lining found in the jacket.
