Size Chart for the Motorcycle Rain Gear - Two Piece Motorcycle Rain Suit RS5000
Please use a cloth tape measure and measure the circumference of your chest in inches and add 1 only if the measurement is an odd number to get the next even number and choose from the chart below. Please note the sizes given here are based on the assumption you will be putting this rain suit on top of some heavy clothing like a jacket. Otherwise please go one size down. The pants are adjustable with elastic and drawstring and they fit a wide variety of waist lines.
Comment: Absolutely Fantastic. Have not worn it in the rain yet. The construction is great and it did not mention that there is a hood in the jacket. A BIG plus. The color is great also.Shipping was very quick too. I have ordered other items from Jafrums and pleased every time
LET IT RAIN !
Comment: Ordered this suit . Did not have the highest expectations because I was told by friends to order "Frog Togs" that were supposed to be alot better. I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER WITH MY RAIN SUIT ! They can say want they want about the other set, these are AWSOME and you cant beat the price ! Why waste your money, buy these, very heavy duty, comfortable and waterproof !

Great Waterproof Gear
Comment: Much, much more than I anticipated. Unbelievable quality and style for the price. You won't be disappointed.
Comment: I bought this suit for my husband and we were very impressed with the quality. It is a beautiful, well-made suit. However, I ordered XL, which is what he wears in everything else, and the suit was HUGE. Unfortunately, I had to return this one and order a medium in a different suit. Other than the size issue for us, this is an impressive rain suit and an outstanding value.
Great quality & price!!!
Comment: Awesome looking rain gear and very well made. I am 6'2" tall and 220 lbs the Large size fits perfect over my leather jacket and chaps.

WoW Awesome 2
Comment: I have worn this in 4 very heavy storms at 55 mph. You will stay dry....great product
Awesome Rain Gear
Comment: This is a top notch rain suit. Others cost 3 to 4 times of this one. Color, fit, everything about it is perfect!
Comment: Superior product. Waterproof. heat resistent. Reflective. Fantastic price. Speedy delivey. Only note to keep in mind: it runs large. The size Large fits me well at 5'11" and 210 lbs.
Comment: Very nice, well made suit. color is more towards silver than white shown. Quality workmanship and very sharp looking. Only con would be somewhat small zippered boot openings but they work fine. Size L fits me over leather jacket and I'm 6'1" and 215.
Get this rainsuit
Comment: What a rain suit. I can't wait for it to rain just so I can use it. The fit is great the slip resistant seat is a plus. The material doesn't feel like you are wearing a piece of plastic. For the price, this is the way to go. You will not be disappointed with this rain suit. You will not find anything close to this at a store near you. Get it.
Happy w JFRM
Comment: I owned a fogg toggs previous to this suit but I tore it up and had to replace it. I was hoping to get lucky with this one because of the price. I'm 6'3, 220, wear 38 X 33" jeans and I wear 35" sleeve dress shirt. I ordered the large based on the other reviews and it fits well over my XL moto jacket. The length of the jacket and pants are adequate for my riding position (upright).
The material of the suit is very nice, but heavy. This suit is significantly bulkier and heavier than my FroggToggs and requires much more consideration for packing up in one of the panniers (I used to leave my FT suit on the bike.
The sleeves, waist and pant cuffs all have elastic bands (the sleeve has velcro adjustments. There is a hood tucked away in the color.
I would buy this suit again.
Definitely Worth It...
Comment: A lot of rain suit for the money. Other rain suits I’ve seen (costing more) cannot compare to this one. Heavy duty with lots of features. Don’t evaluate from the picture. The suit’s color is closer to silver-gray and looks better than pictured. This suit looks sharp. No cheap rubber or plastic look and feel. NOT light weight – more heavy duty. Runs large. I’m 6 ft., 205 lbs. and bought the large which fits.
Comment: I have not been disappointed with anything that I have bought from Jafrums. The rain suite not only was here before I had expected, but the workman ship was better than expected. Im recommending that anyone who wants a great deal who is on limited funds give them a try......

Rain suit for our Son
Comment: Our son just got his new motorcycle to ride his hour and a half ride to work and needed something to keep him dry. We went on line to find a suit and found your site. He just went on a pleasure ride last Sunday and it strated to rain hard. He stopped and put his suit on. When he got home he had to call and say how great the suit work out! He loves it! Not hard to get on and not heavy to wear!

Motorcycle Rain suit as advertised
Comment: Have not worn it yet because it is basically winter, delivery was prompt as always. I have checked it out and looks like a quality piece with room for your normal riding leathers under it. Sizes run quite big so take note of that. Lets see what spring brings but I am sure I won't be disappointed in the suit, only the weather.
Rain Suit Works in Costa Rica
Comment: What better place to test a rain suit than the tropics? So far it worked wonders and love the desing, color and material quality. With 60-80" of rain per year, a good rain suit is a must. NO need to spend more that you should. I'm 5'9" - 180 lbs, a medium works perfectly over my jeans and armor jacket. Love it!!
Motorcycle Rain Suit
Comment: Great fit over my leathers. Much better quality than expected.
Motorcycle Rain Gear
Comment: I bought this for one of my husband's Christmas presents. He loves it not just for rain but for windy weather. Fits great.
Comment: BIG rains here over the last couple of days. Kept me dry through it all. Good Gear.
Comment: BIG rains here over the last couple of days. Kept me dry through it all. Good Gear.
Rain suit RS5000
Comment: Very, very well made! Worth the price! Runs large and because of its heavy-duty construction, is a little bulky. I'm adding suspenders to the pants! Best rain suit I've ever owned! Light-weight rain suits always fall apart for me.
RS5000 rain suit
Comment: I used this rain gear in my first rain keep me completely dry. Also used it in cold weather keep me warm with a thin jacket under it I love my rain gear I am 6'3 300 lb. 2x fits perfect.
Good Quality Rainsuit
Comment: Just ordered this rain suit two days ago and it already arrived! The quality seems very durable and I've worn it in the rain to test it out but have not yet ridden in the rain. I'm sure it will be great though, just from how well it is made. The only thing I would note is that the color is more gray than white or even silver. I liked this one because it was a lighter color, but in reality it's not nearly as light as the picture. Still, it has some reflective piping and the orange sleeves. The small jacket is a little big on me (5'8" 135 lb. female) but the pants fit great for my height. Probably would've ordered an XS if they had it but this will be fine over my regular clothes.
Comment: Ok - I'm not a biker. I'm a corner worker at VIR. Needed a new rain suit when my Froggs ripped in Daytona. This suit is great. Concern 1 is to keep dry. Aced that one. Plenty of room to move around in & still remain covered. Concern 2 is to be seen. The photos looked like white, but it's actually a light grey. With the orange sleeves, I'm sure the visibility thing is covered too. The suit is well made & a lot sturdier than the Frogs.

Nice Motorcycle Rainsuit
Comment: Great product! Thanks!
What a GREAT rainsuit!
Comment: I bought this suit just before heading out for a 1600 mile ride. Just threw it in a saddlebag...in case. Within less than 10 miles, I had stopped to put it on, then rode for five hours in the rain. Not a drop of rain penetrated and it rained pretty hard for some of the ride. Also, at six ft, 200 lbs, I bought large and it fit just fine. I would definitely recommend this rainsuit.
Great Value and Style
Comment: Great Jacket. Looks just like the ones you pay well over $100 for at the dealership. Ordered right before a big week long trip and it arrived very quickly, in a matter of days. Used it once on the trip and it performed great. Only complaint is that I wish the pants were a little longer. I wore the pants high on my hips to keep the rain out and wish they were longer to cover more of my boots. If I had my boot covers on I would have been fine, but i didn't bring them on this trip. The sizing is larger than most suits. I was going to order an XL, but opted for the L based on reviews and was glad I did. I'm 6'0" and 220lbs and the jacket fit great with room for leater underneath. On a couple cool mornings you can even wear the jacket alone as a nice wind breaker.
East Windsor, CT
Comment: Ordered a medium for my wife and an xl for me. Good fit with extra room for leather jacket. We rode from Dillard, Georgia to Berea, Ky. in the rain and stayed dry.
David and Patty
Comment: I bought this for my husband and he loves it! He wears a size 42 pant so I ordered an XL. It will be great OVER jeans. Great value for the money. I will order one for my self also.

Great rain suit
Comment: It is everything as stated in all the reviews that read before buying it. Used it on a trip and it is great, easy to get on and off and worked great in the rain. Will recommend it to anyone.
Comment: Rode for hours in the heavyest downpours. So intense that the water leaked inside the velcro and thru the zipper. But given the intensity of the rain I was still pretty dry. Well made and quite visible.

Rain Storm Tested
Comment: purchased the suit two weeks earlier, rode through a driving rainstorm coming out of williamsburg Va. on saturday. The only thing wet was the edge of my pants leg where i didn't have the suit dwn far enough. excellent suit ! Worth every penny!
Silver Spring, Md.
Tested Dry All Day
Comment: I'm 6'-2" 250 lbs and ordered an XL suite. I have plenty of room in waiste lenght and sleeves. I could wear a Lg but enjoy the extra room. Glad it has a hood and heat guards on the inner lower legs. Reflective piping are easy to see in lights and the suit is made with quality material.
Comment: Great quality and price. A very good buy.
Let it Rain!!!!!
Comment: Haven't worn it yet, looking forward to the first ride in the rain. Fits well over clothes, plenty of room. Material is heavier than expected. Great price, highly recommend.
Comment: I cannot believe the quality of this rainsuit!! I just received it and can't get over how nice it is. I'm 5'7" 187 lbs. I bought the medium and with gear underneath it will fit perfect.
GREAT RAINSUIT with HOODY
Comment: This is my first REAL COMPLETE motorcycle rain suite, and I have to say it looks great, not only does it fit well, but its very visible in the silver and black with the orange stripe on the sleeves. the optional fold-away hoody is nice too, I can wear it on my head and put my helmet over it so the rain doesn't go down the back of my neck. this suite will be PERFECT for my bike trip down to the Florida keys next month. for the price, it was well worth the investment. I would recommend this suite to any of my friends that needs one.
Motorcycle Rain Gear
Comment: This was the best buy I have made since I got my bike. Awesome quality for the price. Perfect fit. My riding buddy saw mine and wants one as well. Thanks!
Comment: Ordered the set for both the wife and myself, They arrived before our trip to Salt Lake City on Labor Day Weekend. The best suits for the MONEY. They are comfy, rummy, and pretty warm. Everyone should get a set never know when you'll need it.
Comment: This rainsuit far exceeds the money you'll spend on it. I bought the medium, I'm 5'7" and 185 lbs. and it fit great over my gear. Loosely with no gear. The material used is top notch from the outer shell to the liner. I highly recommend this suit to anyone looking at rainsuits. And I've told all my friends that ride already.
Comment: The rain suit is great looking and made with good quality material. Size was just as the sizing chart suggested. You will not be disappointed with this purchase!!!!!
Waterproof Rainsuit RS5000.
Comment: This is the best rain gear I've ever purchased! After wearing and returning discount store brands, I can say this gear is worth it! Recently wore it to a football game in drenching rain and it kept me very dry! Have yet to try it while riding but am looking forward to putting to the test! Be sure to order down a size because it is plenty big! A nice feature is the heat shield on the calf portion. My others melted away on my exhaust system. Now I am not worried at all. Buy with confidence!!
Motorcycle Rainsuit RS5000
Comment: Great looking suit good fit, of course it hasn't rain yet.
Great Rain Suit
Comment: This suit is great. Fit was perfect and the time from ordering to receiving was amazing. Go by the size chart and you will have a great rainsuit that fits perfectly.
Comment: Im 5' 9" 186 lbs mother in law ordered me small and I was like great they wont fit.....boy was I WRONG!!!! SMALL IS PERFECT ..haven't worn them yet just for them Christmas Eve 2012 ..to be honest hope I never need them....LOL
Comment: I bought a suit for my wife, and one for me to leave in our touring motorcycle. This set is a great deal for the money.I like the quality and materials. The fit was just right for my wife, but for me the sleeves are very short.
Old Town, Maine
A very nice rainsuit
Comment: I ordered this rainsuit in a Large even though I am normally an XL. The fit and finish of the suit was very nice. I am 6'1" and 235 lbs with a 40 inch waist and 46 to 48 chest. I also ordered the closeout model RS5010 in a Large and actually liked it better than this one, so this one went back. It bothered me that this RS5000 did not have reflective piping on the back of the jacket and that was a deal breaker to me... whereas the closeout model RS5010 had the reflective piping. All in all., a very nice rainsuit for the money. I wish they would date these reviews so prospective buyers can read the more current reviews than some that might be a couple years old..
Comment: We are smaller riders, so we ordered a small. It's still big and definately too bulky to wear over other gear. We've decided to keep it for my husband who commutes on his bike, but when he uses it he has to store his regular jacket in his backpack.
Comment: EXELLENT PROUDUCT: everything decribed to a tee very happy with quality would recommend to a friend.
Great Product for Great Price
Comment: Great value for the buck! Good Quality
Wet WA tested
Comment: This has been a great rainsuit. I ride daily in the rain of WA. Suit fits great and is comfortable in a wide range of motion. Plenty of room to add layers under the jacket. Great value for my money.
Thunder Under Two Piece Motorcycle Rain Suit RS5000
Comment: I have waited to write my review because I wanted to get use of the rain suit. Now that I have used it, I love it. I am a female, who is 5'8" and 168lbs. who ordered a med. suit - I could have gotten away with a small since I live in a tropical climate and don't wear motorcycle apparel when riding. The two piece rainsuit is definitely warm on those cold night rides and I recommend it to anyone who is looking to purchase a rain suit. It is made out of good material and looks better in reality than in the picture.
Comment: Great love it. Fits well and looks good. Follow the instructions for ordering and you can't go wrong. It's a bit heavy so in warm rain it might be a bit warm but that's ok. Nice and dry. I recommend it get it
Good quality and good looking suit.
Comment: I received my rain suit today. Shipping was prompt. 3 days to Long Isalnd, NY. The rain suit is of excellent quality. The color appears white in the ad, but it is acually silver/grey, which I like better. Also the suit pants have snap on/off boot straps which aren't shown in the ad. Obviously I havent had the chance to field test the suit yet, but I can't see it not performing as advertised. As far as sizing is concerned, I am 6'1" 185lbs. I orderd a medium and it fits perfectly. Not looking forward to riding in the rain, but now when I do, I'm confident I'll be well protected. For only $50.00 you can't go wrong. 4 1/2 stars now because I haven't had the chance to actually wear the suit in the rain yet.
Long Island, NY
Comment: I am short, 5' even, average build. I bought a small,,way too big, pants hung on the ground while sitting on bike. sold it to a friend and reodered extra small. Had 2nd suit within 1 week of ordering 1st suit...wow...wore it in the rain, stayed warm and dry.
Comment: Great gear for price, quality, and performance!!Make sure you go off of size chart. They run BIG. Was not sure about ordering small per chart but fits great. Highly recommend this gear and Jafrum site to all!!
Comment: True to size, well made. Silver not white, which I like. Hope to avoid the rain, but should keep me dry.
Durable Rain Gear
Comment: This suit kept me dry on a 300 mile trip through rain and strong winds. It is a very good rain suit for the price. I am 5'10" 170 and bought the small size suit. It fit perfectly.
Don't fully trust the "Size Chart"
Comment: I'm a 41-42 Chest and a 33-34 Waist. According to the size chart, I should order a Small and I did. Guess what, those dimenions were OK the inseam sucked. I normally wear pants with a 31-32 inseam so you can see I'm NOT long legged. When I got on my cruser, the leg bottoms were half way up my shins and that was inspite of the boot strap bottom. I did return them and did order a Medium. On my first road trip I experienced an all day rain on the return trip - the suit itself funtioned perfectly - just beware of the inseam

Comment: Awesome item. Price was fantastic. Highly recommend!
thunder under rain suit review
Comment: Very nice rain suit for the price. Heavier material and good quality fasteners. Used it once so far on a ten mile ride in a moderate rain and it kept me dry. That's all I can ask!
Thunder Under 2piece Rainsuit Review
Comment: Nice rain suit, didn't get to use it in the rain yet, but seems durable. I'm 6'1" 185#. Went with the large, glad I did, the medium would not have been tall enough. The arms are a little shorter than I'd like, but it will work. Good suit for the price. Takes up some space in the saddlebags though, doesn't compress down real small.
Thunder Under RS5000 Review
Comment: I read allot of reviews before this purchase and it was also flagged as "best seller" which helped in the decision to purchase the suit. I am 6 ft and had concerns about the length of the pants but they were just long enough. However the pants were a bit baggy. The jacket fits great and I love the adjustable draw waist along with the cuffs. I have used the suit several times already. I found it very functional and better quality than expected for the price.

Comment: MAN TALK ABOUT SERVICE !!! GREAT !!!! I recieved the Suit before I expected it ONly to say how HAPPY I am with it . MADE GREAT and I ordered by the reviews size and a perfect fit !! VERY SATISFIED !!! GREAT WORK JAFRUM . THANKS !!! Doris
RS5000 2 Piece Rain Suit Review
Comment: High quality poduct. Color is actually deceiving looks white and bright orange but is grey and liht orange. Size is an issue from chart info. Recommend that you read all reviews before ordering. I order 2 sets for self and wife. I am 5'11" 225lbs 32" inseam 36" sleeves 48" chest ordered size LARGE jacket is OK over wind jacket but sleeves are shorter than I like. Pants are huge even over jeans or leather. Wife is 5'3" 115lbs wears size 6 tops and 4 pants I ordered an X Small she needs an XX Small if it was available. Fits large even over full leathers jacket & pants. Have not had need to test the suits in rain yet but jackets are great as wind breakers after sundown at highway speeds. Very nice product but pay particular attention to sizing info on reviews before ordering.

Thunder Under Two Piece Rain Suit RS5000 Review
Comment: I ordered this rain gear after reading all the great reviews on here. I am replacing my Frogg Toggs that I have due to the zipper being broken. This gear lives up to the reviews, great quality, great feel, and the sizing is right on. I am 6ft 3, 180 lbs and I ordered the small and the fit is great.
Great Fit Rainsuit
Comment: I purchased this rain suit for a friend of ours that is rather tall at 6'1" and finding a rain suit with long arms and legs is totally amazing. The price is great too.
Thunder Under Rainsuit RS5000 Review
Comment: Although I haven't used this suit yet, the on time delivery and qualty seem to be there. The fit is almost perfect...went by previous reviews and ordered like they said and it was correct. Will do another review after using it in rain.
Thunder Under RS5000 Rain Gear Review
Comment: This suit is well worth the money - rode back home from Yellowstone 4 days in the rain wearing it. Yes it will keep you dry and toasty - but due to the loose lining in the legs it is very difficult to get on over riding boots, especially if you are in a hurry and can't sit down to do it. Also the outside pockets on the jacket do not have snap or Velcro closure and I lost something along the way due to that - easy enough fix with some stick on Velcro when I got back home. Would be nice to have a chest pocket. I would still rate these high because they did what they were supposed to do - but plan ahead and put them on before you get wet!
Thunder Under RS5000 Two Piece Rainsuit
Comment: Alright. The guys at Jafrum emailed a request to write a review on the purchase I made in the review title, and since it was one of their youtube videos that prompted me to make the purchase in the first place, I will oblige! One thing worth mentioning that differs from product description is, it's not lightweight. It's a substantial rain suit that goes on easily over a bulky pair of riding boots and a similarly bulky armored jacket. I had the opportunity to wear it nearly every day on a trip to, and while in, Robbinsville, NC to attend the Horizons Unlimited event at the Iron Horse Motorcycle Lodge. The suit performed it's duty very well by keeping me completely dry. The pocket on the pants held my wallet for stops at the gas pump so it didn't look like I was doing anything weird while fishing inside the pants for it. And the jacket closes up so well the rain couldn't penetrate the flap over the zipper and Velcro closure. As the description states, the mesh lining helps with air circulation through the suit so you don't sweat. And the weather was so unpredictable, I kept the suit on most of the trip to and from the event, as well as when riding the nearby mountain roads. I have to give this suit an A+ rating for performing as well as I'd hoped it would. And thanks to the guys at Jafrum for putting together such informative product demos!
Superb Rain Suit RS5000 Review
Comment: Excellent rain gear. Wore the suit during journey from STL, MO to Sturgis Rally 2013. Rider was dry in downpour, and suit held up to the water displaced by semis and combines sharing the same road. Highly recommend this suit (and the colors match the bike)!

Comment: I don't plan to ride in the rain, but I do get caught. The weather here has been so changeable I purchased this suit and have used it twice. It got me home dry. Well made and reasonably priced.
great rain suit
Comment: Worn it twice in heavy rain works great fits well slightly oversized to fit over jacket. Kept me very dry during a hard rain. Solid sturdy construction with a mesh liner makes it easy to get on and off. Had people comment on the visibility of suit.
Well made suit.
Comment: This suit kept me dry riding though heavy rain and wind without a windsheild. Doesn't pack up very compact.
Two Piece Motorcycle Rain Suit RS5000 Review
Comment: Looks like a quality suit but the pants are too short so I'll be sending it back. Jacket fits well and a lot of features for the money
Better Late than Never
Comment: After being soaked to the bone and pulverized by hail and high winds for over an hour and a half I purchased this gear. I am six foot 225 pounds with a 46 inch chest, and ordered a large. It arrived promptly, looks good and seems to be quality made. It fits me well and even if I gained another 20 pounds it would still fit. I have not worn it in the rain yet and that's fine with me. In fact I hope it dry rots in the saddle bag before I get caught in another storm. I am confident it will satisfy anyone especially for the price.

Ya just can't beat it!
Comment: I bought two of these suits for our annual week-long trip. We live near Greensboro, N.C. This year we rode to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and rented a cabin there. We ran into rain about 1/3 of the way there. We stopped to put the suits on and continued on our way. The only part of me that got wet was my hands. The suits worked beautifully and were more than adequate to keep us warm and dry. The colors are excellent and, IMO, much more visible than 95% of the rain gear out there. I wish more manufacturers would wake-up and make rain suits that are more visible during inclement weather. Why would you wear black?!? On our way home, again, we ran into rain about 1/3 of the way home. Again we were both warm and dry. However, I started getting a wet butt. I figured it was contact seepage. When we got home and started to take the suits off, my wife said “Hey! You’ve got a hole in your butt!” Laughing, I turned to her and said “I hope so!” Well, the seam had separated and that’s how I got a wet butt. I notice that there was almost no material holding the seam together. It had been sewn too close to the edge of the material. Since I had ordered the suits way in advance of our trip, I knew I would be close to the defective product return policy. I called Jafrum and explained the situation to them. I got a RMA number and sent the defective suit off. A week or so went by and a NEW replacement suit arrived. Jafrum customer service was excellent and fast with the turn-around. I give the suits 4.5 stars. If they were Gortex I would have given them 5 stars. You know you aren't gonna get Gortex for $60 bucks! Now I gotta find some waterproof gloves from Jafrum! I know they will have them.
U.S. Army, Retired
Totaly the best rain suit for the price.
Comment: If your looking for a great rain suit at a very low price you found it. It has exceided my expectations by a mile. It's well made and keeps you dry in down pours and looks great.
Two Piece Motorcycle Rain Suit RS5000 Review
Comment: Excellent product. Got caught in a rainstorm going through the Ozarks on the way to Harrison Arkansas, We did the last 100 miles of our trip in a really bad storm and the rain gear was perfect. This was money well spent, I highly recommend this suit.
Addendum to my "Ya just can't beat it!" Review
Comment: One thing I failed to mention in my review. I notice that when the seam in the seat of my suit pulled apart, I saw no tape across the seam. Thunder Under could only improve their excellent product by taping all seams. Especially in high stress areas like the seat of the pants.
A rain suit is a necessary item in any rider's apparel collection. Even if
you don't ever plan on riding in the rain, there are some things that are simply
not in your control. If you have ever gotten soaked to the bone with cold rain
30 or more miles away from home, you probably already own one of these. Rain
suits are made in a variety of styles and materials most of which are available
on our website, Jafrum.com
Thunder Under RS5000 two piece rainsuit is made from nylon. Nylon is a good
fabric for a rainsuit because it is lightweight, easy to pack, and somewhat
breathable. It can also be very reasonably priced. This complete suit with all
of the features I'm about to show you is on sale on Jafrum.com for sub sixty
bucks. The only downsides to nylon as a rainsuit fabric are that it is not
flexible, most rainsuits aren't flexible, and it doesn't hold up to sunlight
very well. All that means to you the rider is that you don't want to lay it out
in the sun for extended periods of time to dry. If you take proper care of a
nylon suit it will provide you with protection from the elements for many years
This rainsuit has just about every feature available in this type of apparel,
and It is available in this one color way. The suit is primarily gray with black
accents and has high viz panels in the sleeves of the jacket and high viz piping
on the sleeves of the jacket and down the leg of the pants.
Let's take a closer look at the three quarter length jacket. This jacket has a
durable plastic zipper that is covered by these dual panels and secured with a
hook and loop system to ensure a waterproof closure. All the seams are tape
sealed as well to keep the water out. There is a hidden hood in the collar to
keep water from running down your neck into the jacket. The two pockets on the
front are water resistant but I would be careful with cell phones and
electronics because there is no closure system for the flap.
The fit on this jacket is very adjustable. There are adjustable straps on the
front that are combined with a stretch panel on the back to reduce buffeting at
speed. The only feature that is missing on this jacket that would be nice is
maybe some adjusters on the sleeves. They're nice to have to keep the jacket
quiet especially if you ride a bike with little or no wind screen. The cuffs are
fully adjustable with stretch panels on one side and an adjustable hook and loop
closure on the other.
The interior of the jacket has been equipped with a mesh lining. This will help
wick moisture away from your skin and also keep the rain gear from sticking to
your skin when you start to sweat.
Now let's get a look at the pants. The waist of the pants is stretchy all the
way around and has a draw string for adjustability. The cuffs of the legs are
also adjustable with zippered expanders and waterproof gussets. The pocket on
the pants does have a closure system and is almost completely waterproof. There
are reinforced panels in high wear areas on the both the backside and also on
the legs where the fabric can come into high heat areas and rub on footpegs. The
legs also have removable stirups to help keep your pantlegs from riding up and
letting water into your boots.
