Comment: I just got this suit in exchange for one my daughter bought me for Christmas that wasn't quite right. It was shipped Friday, and arrived today (Saturday). I put on my winter riding gear and topped it off with this suit and left out today at 29 degrees. This suit works great at keeping the cold air out. It fits snug with all the elastic in the pants and jacket, plus it has pull cords to snug it up even more. It also has a pocket on the pants and two on the jacket. I would recomend this suit to anyone. FYI: I am 5'9" and weigh 200 solid pounds. The 5003 I received is a Medium and fits over all my clothes, ski bib, and leather coat very well.

Comment: As you know, Jafrum offers competive prices for their products. However, this rain suit was on sale. Coupled with "Jafrum Bucks," I paid about $9 for a suit that retails for $80. The suit was used for the first time last weekend in Florida's unpredictable weather. I enjoyed the fact that the zippered and velcro bottoms allowed me to slip the pants quickly over my boots. You are fully protected as velcro seals off all of the ends that are exposed to the rain (neck, arms and legs). Using a full-face helmet seals the deal - no water coming in. Pockets, drawstrings, Velcro and reinforced patches on the pant leg make this a great buy. As with all rainsuits, you do heat up when the sun comes out! As for picking the right size, I went with the Large suit. I am 5'10 male and weigh 190 lbs. I have a 34 inch waist and a 42 inch chest. With that in mind, the suit covered my motorcycle jacket and blue jeans without a hitch. If you ride without a jacket, you may want to take that into account and downsize your purchase. My thought, however, is that it is better to ride with a big suit which can be tightened than with a tight suit that can not be loosened. Overall, I am very satisfied. Food for thought. If you purchase clothing and decide to review the purchase, please describe your physical features. This will help others evaluate the sizing charts that accompany clothing items. It helped me when choosing my size. Have fun...and ride safely.

Comment: I have had mine for 3 seasons, I have ridden in the Oregon, California, Colorado and all through the west, I have been in drizzels, to absomute monsune downpours and this suit works just as well if not better than the ones that cost twice as much. One plus I thought was really cool is the cordura leggings to protect from hot exhaust. All of this for $40.00, this is why I keep ordering from Jafrum.

Comment: The photo doesn't do the suit justice. This is a fairly heavy-duty piece of gear and the fit is near perfect. My long legs make my feet a little too far away from the elastic bottom of the pants when seated on the bike. Boot covers should fix that problem, however. Everything seems very well made. It's very comfortable and warm. I'm almost looking forward to getting caught in the rain now.

Comment: I bought this suit for one of my friends for Christmas. He always had a problem with melting the lower leg due to the muffler pipe. This suit has the heat resistant inner leg panel, and it works great. It's up high enough so that when sitting down it's just right, and the shipping was unbelivably fast.

Comment: I used this suit in driving rain at 60 MPH for more than 50 miles. It did its job. I got it on sale so that made it an even better deal. :) The only problem I have with it is the elastic on the waist of the jacket. I ordered the medium, which should have fit nicely, but the elastic is so tight it is very distracting. It seems to be too high on the jacket. If it were lower, it wouldn't be as noticeable As it is, I am constantly trying to pull the jacket lower (as I am riding in the rain) to get the elastic off of my lower chest. I am going to order a large set and try the large jacket with the medium pants.

Comment: Good quality and delivery was very quick. My husband's fit fine. We ordered large for him because he wears large in everything, although the chart indicated a medium. I was nervous about ordering XS but I did according to the chart. Jacket fit great but pants are definitely not made for short people (I'm 4'11"). Chart does not give inseam sizes or choices. Decided to keep everything, just have to pull pants up to my neck.

Comment: Just purchased suit and completed a 2500 mile trip. Encountered rain 3 times on the trip and the rain suit worked very well. I would recommend this product to others.

Comment: This suit has kept me dry in a great many downpours. This, and my boot covers, brings me home dry every time. I would suggest getting a size bigger than you would normally wear. According to the chart, I wear a medium. The pants fit good and snug over my winter gear. The elastic in the waist of the jacket though is very tight and gets quite irritating after just a few miles. I plan on ordering a Large and pairing it with my medium pants. That should be just what the doctor ordered. :)

Comment: I bought this rain suit more for keeping the cold out while driving in the late fall and early spring months. The jacket has been terrific at keeping me warm as long as I have my riding jacket underneath. There is plenty of room in the jacket...it's great. The legs are a little baggy but it really isn't a fashion show. They keep me less warm but have been sufficient for the little rain I have encountered. The zippers on the legs are somewhat cheap and they don't always want to work correctly. Other than those minor things...they are great.

Comment: Suit design is great. Fit is fine, but arm length is a bit short. Not a problem if wearing gauntlet gloves. Haven't tried it in the rain, but fully expect it to perform well!

Comment: I needed a rain suit real bad and say this and for the money I was not to sure about how good it would be. Well let me tell you that it is very well made has everything the pricy ones have for half the money and works great it is easy to get on and keeps you dry what more can you ask and it looks great for the price you can not go wrong.

Comment: I used this in 14 degree weather, driving on the highway at 65 MPH, keep me warm with just a set of layered clothes no addtional coat. Been using it as warm gear since. It does run large and the straps brook first day, simple rivet fixed it. Some melted against the pipes. Needs larger cloth area on the right side. Yet to get wet in it yet.

Comment: What can I say, very pleased!. Fast delivery and awesome gear; very well made (Heavy enough to keep you dry and light enough to fold up tight). Went by the comments as the size chart seemed off, and ordered 1 size smaller (i'm 5'11" / 165# / 44R jacket) and would have gotten a Large but got Medium and fits good with room to spare for even my heavy leather jacket underneath. Now ready for our trip around Lake Huron / Georgian Bay end of June!.

Comment: Sporadic weather had me worried about arriving to work looking like a drowned rat. I ordered what I felt I could afford, and expected to get my money's worth, if you know what I mean. Instead, I recieved a high quality rain suit. It far exceeded my meager money and expectations. As I have always experienced with Jafrum, my money was well spent.

Comment: Had to wear my rain suit a week after I purchased it, in a heavy down pour. The suit kept my dry through and through. Needed a set of gaitors and waterproof gloves and I would have been completely dry. Great product especially for the price.
