Metzeler ME 880 Marathon Touring Rear Motorcycle Tire

Comment: Awesome touring tire, outstanding cornering wet or dry they don't list the 1500 Kawi on the fitment, go up one size from stock to 160/80HBx16 fits great looks awesome. 28K on the last one, always keep tire pressure up, these baby's last.

Comment: The ME 880s on my 600VLX Honda have over 12,000 miles on them and look to have about 50% tread left. Highly recommended.

Comment: The 200x60x16 fits my VTX1800 C just great. I did have to trim the fender rails a bit because I lowered it 1". So the tire goes up in it more than usual causing it to rub on the outside edges of the tire.

Comment: I've been running ME-880's on my 2000 FXSTS since the stock rubberer was replaced. get about 8K on the rears and 10-12K on the fronts. Excellent tires, and Jafrum is nearly 100% of the time best for price with free shippiing.

Comment: Been running the Metzeler for the past couple changes.. Getting about 6k-8k on the rear tire, about 14k on the front.. These are a different ride all around.. Highly recommend.. Handles in the rain excellent..

Comment: I was running avon cobras now running metzeler marathons front & back what difference just a great set of tires handles so much better.

Comment: Bought my first set in 2005 for my 04 1300 VTX C. Now in 2012 and 40,000 miles later, I have bought my second set. This brand of tire is fantastic. Great ride quality. Handles wonderful in the rain and I have had no problems with them. I alway keep the PSI at 40 front and back.

Comment: I put it on my 08 Electa Glide, and the handling so far is so much better than the stock tire I had on and had to keep replacing 2-3 times a year. I'm hoping this tire will last longer than the Dumlops I spent so much to keep a rear tire on this bike. I didn't give it a five because I don't know how it will handle in the rain or if it will last longer than Dunlops.
