After a bit of misunderstanding re delivery system, I reordered and received my vest. It is perfect, just what I wanted, and the fit is also perfect. Everything I have purchased via Jafrum has really satisfied me. Hence I keep going back and add to my collection of riding gear. The only hassle is freight charges to New Zealand are usually greater than the price of the product. All in all I am satisfied.

I'm super pleased. Great vest. I am 32 waist and 39 chest. The small fits great. It's trim at waist and snug in stomach and chest. I can wear a heavy wool shirt or sweat shirt with hood under it no problem, but (note) I just lost 50 pounds and have a flat stomach for first time in years. Quality leather; zipper; snaps; pockets. It's heavy thick leather... great vest!
Great fit, look, and quality. Can't go wrong with the price either. All in all extremely satisfied.
The video review by Louie is dead-on The MC914C leather vest is an excellent choice. I can't believe a vest this well made sells for under $100. It's well made and the style and fit are incredible. I wear a 42R suit jacket and the large fit me perfectly. I even have room to wear a hoodie underneath comfortably. Shipping from Jafrum is very fast. I received the jacket 3 days after I ordered it. I highly recommend this vest.
This is a great quality vest. The leather is soft, yet seems very durable. My only complaint is that the cell phone pocket is too far inside the vest for my tastes, but it's really not that big of a deal. I'm super happy with my purchase, and it's going to make a great vest for my club!
This vest is by far the best one I've ever owned. Made out of strong layered material, plenty of pockets that easily fit your whole hand and then some, and is very light weight. And a bonus on the vest is each side has inside pockets that are ideal for conceal carry weapons. I have recommended this vest to multiple people and they've already got theirs ordered. All this for a very fair price and super quick shipping.
I am blown away by how well this vest is made. The leather has a wonderful glow to it. All my buddies are buying one. Great deal and love that it has a zipper. Great support for a CCW.
I love this vest. the gun holder are not going to last long but other than that its a great product
Great vest, the inside gun pockets are big enough to carry a full size 1911 and the jacket is heavy enough to not tilt when you carry. I like it so much I'm thinking of buying another one so I can have one without my colors. Jesus is still the best decision I ever made in my life though.
This is by far one of the best vests I've owned. It is high quality and seems very durable. I'm 5'6" and weigh 155 lbs with an athletic build. I have a 40" chest and ordered a size small. It fits perfectly. I can even where a leather jacket underneath. It has plenty of pockets and protects you all the way up to your neck. I would recommend this vest to everyone.
Very nice vest. Tough leather. Great look. Only complaint is the sizing. Order at least 2 sizes bigger than you think you need. I normally wear an xl (46" chest), but I needed a 3x in this vest.
Great quality vest. I ordered a 4XL instead of my usual 2XL and it fits great around the shoulders but it is a fat mans vest. There is way too much loose space on bottom. I am going to keep this one for a winter vest and order a 2XL to see if it will be better. I will report back when it comes in.
This was the best price I found for a vest in this style. Follow the fitment guide on the site and you'll be fine. Quality leather, sunglasses slot, and a super cool look. The only surprise was the zipper is reversed - at least it was on the small i ordered, but it also has snaps so you can snap without zipping. Definitely pleased with this purchase.
Ok so the 2xl fits great on the bottom but it does run small on the top. If you have the zipper open it fits great with just a shirt under it. I am going to order a 3xl and hopefully it will be a perfect fit leaving me with 3 vests. Sometimes it is better to pay the extra to be able to try it on in person. I am sure Jafrum is great on exchanges as well but these are great vests so I will keep one of each size in case I grow or shrink as time goes by.
Now that I feel like Goldilcoks from the three bears I finally found the one that fits best. The quality of these vests are great and if you have a bit of a beer belly they would be perfect. The 3XL is just big enough to fit my leather jacket under it for winter and wear without it during the summer. For those cold double jacket days I will keep my 4XL For all my reviews I am 6 foot 230lbs and on the broad side if that helps you choose a size
Hi. I did as recommended by Jafrum, measured my chest at 50 inches, and ordered the 3XL, but that was way too big around my belly (don't have much but even so). I'm 5'10", 240lbs, with a 38" waist. Ended up ordering another at 2XL (couldn't send it back since I have a forwarding PO Box in the US for overseas shipping, but made a friend of mine very happy!!!). 2XL worked great, leaving enough space to use a light jacket underneath for riding. Other than that the leather is very soft yet feels good and thick. It has inner pockets for both left or right handed g*ns. Outer hand pockets are deep and big enough in case you want to stick your hands in with gloves on. Top pockets are very small, but then there's nothing to be carried in those. Zipper is tough, and the buttons feel good and solid.
The MV914C motorcycle vest isn't just one of the nicer value priced vests we have here at Jafrum, it's one of the nicest vests we have period. The 914 is made of naked top grain cowhide leather, which is one of the highest grades of leather you can get. It's very soft, and the full aniline treatment of the leather keeps it breathable.
The 914C comes in black, and in sizes small thru 4XL. The fit is very accurate per the size chart on the listing, so make sure you take into account any heavy layers you may want to wear underneath the vest by going up a size.
The main closure on the 914c is a nylon zipper that is covered by a flap with snaps. This is my favorite style of closure for a leather vest because you get the clean, classic look of a snap closure, with the secure fit of a zipper. Often times, on snap style vests without zippers, carrying something heavy like a firearm in an interior pocket, can pull on the closure and you will get a waviness to the gig line from the weight pulling at the closure. The only downside to zippered closure is that you can see one side of it if you wear the vest open.
You may recognize the style of this vest from a very popular t.v. show set in the troubled streets of Charming, California. It has two snap style breast pockets that are perfect for lining up your nickname and rank patches, and the left one has a slit for carrying your riding glasses when you're off the bike. There are also snap style hand warmer pockets for extra storage.
Inside the vest you will find two additional snap style pockets. Both are equipped with a stretchy band for securing a pistol. You can also see the nylon liner in the front panels of the vest and the polyester liner in the rear for added mobility and comfort.
The back of the vest is made of a single panel of leather with no encroaching stitching or panels, making it a perfect choice for clubs with bylaws that forbid any seams or panel edges behind their rockers.
