Comment: The vest is comfortable but best of all, it fits! I'm big man and the lacing on the sides was a big plus, not to mention the single chain extender permanantly attached to the vest. Sure can't beat the price either.

Comment: I have two of these now. You can't beat less than $100 spent total, and I have two. Great quality. Don't be put off by the stiffness of the leather at first. It breaks in fast and with leather protector gets shiny and supple fast. Might end up with another one :).

Comment: I ordered a larger size as suggested and sent it back for a smaller one. Just measure your chest and order that size. The vest is excellent and well-priced.

Comment: This is a sharp looking vest that has it's own personality. I'm 5 '10' and 230 lbs with about a 40 inch waist...ordered a size 46 and it fits the way I think it should since it isn't supposed to close in front. If I pull the fronts together to the middle they don't touch and there is about 1 to 3 inches of space depending on how much I tighten the side laces. I think that's about right since it's a gamblers vest. And another great thing about this cut is it has a 1 piece back panel that looks much better with my back patch. The picture shown with all the back panels is wrong! And that was going to be the only thing holding me back from purchasing it but I went ahead and ordered it anyways...and I was very happy to see they had the wrong picture and the back was a solid panel when I received it. Also,,,the leather is very nice quality..not too light...and not too heavy..it's perfect. The only thing I didn't like was the cheaply made conchos..but I expected that. I actually went on line and ordered higher quality conchos for about 3 bucks a piece and now this cut is perfect. For $40.00 you are going to think it's a steal. Buy it if you like the picture...seeing it in person is not a disappointing at all. One more thing I almost forgot about. It doesn't mention anything about a gun pocket in their ad either...but it has an excellent gun pocket if you have one. I don't...but just thought I'd mention that if you are looking for a nice deep gun pocket. I lied..one more thing before I send this...I did need to replace the chain..it was just a little too short for my fat gut. I went to the local pet store and got a 14 inch choke collar for another 7 bucks and you'd never know it.

This was a style that suited me and besides the look I liked all the great reviews and price for the vest. I am very happy I did not pass this up and bought the vest.
