Comment: Fantastic Jacket... Great Quality... A must buy at this price.
Ok, but not what I was looking for
Comment: Seemed to be a quality, heavy, jacket and the size was right, but it was just a tad uncomfortable in the shoulders and around the neck, so decided to send it back. Going to try a River Road jacket next.

Men's Detour Leather Motorcycle Jacket with CE Armor 8011 Review
Comment: I was hesitant at first to buy this jacket at only $99 and without the ability to see it and try it on. However, I watched the video, read the other reviews of the sizing and took the leap. I'm just shy of 5'7" at 160lbs and the Medium fit like a glove in the torso area. It was a little tight at the inside elbow areas with the armor installed, but it's because the sleeves run about 2-3"s longer than needed for my arm length. With gloves on to keep the sleeve up higher, it fits fine. If you are taller than 5' 7", I'd recommend a Large or bigger. Also, if you are big in the belly ( it happens) you may want another model jacket that has more adjustment at the sides. This jacket's side straps extend about an inch at each side but the jacket itself doesn't leave room in the leather to expand.
I was extremely impressed by the quality of the thick leather and stitching at every seam on the leather. For this price, I was expecting to have some flaws somewhere. Also, the CE armor is legit. Better than some motocross armor I've seen at the shoulder and elbow areas, but yet formed to allow flexing that doesn't give you that football player padding look when wearing it.
I didn't give it the full fifth star only because of the stitching on the perforated permenant liner inside of the jacket. it was poorly sewn at the velcro areas that allow you to install or remove the armor. However, I was able to quickly fix these areas with some good nylon threading. Please keep in mind that this has no integrity issues for the jacket itself. Just the velcro on the liner.
Lastly, this is a heavy leather jacket. The leather is a little stiff out of the box, but with a bottle of Lexor Leather conditioner ($7 from Walmart Auto Section) and about 20 minutes of rubbing in, the leather was soft and supple. Oh, and the reflective piping, although subtle, lights up nicely in the dark when shined upon.
As for Jafrum, they were spot on with my order and it arrived via free fedex ground in 3 days.
As a first time shopper with this company, I'm definately impressed with their customer service and leather products. Of course, the Price too!

Comment: I order this jacket for my boyfriend. It will be his Christmas present. I was so trilled with the price and quality of the jacket. The delivery was spot on. I place my order on a Friday morning and received it on a Tuesday morning. I am super happy with the order and I can't wait for him to open up his Christmas present.
Detour 8011 Jacket Review
Comment: the jacket itself, quite a good jacket at any price. Got a lemon as far as the inner liner and it's very poor zipper "foot", the piece that actually closes a zipper. the other zippers, monsters and of the best quality. I got the jacket and went to zip out the lining and it started jamming up very badly. Finally getting zipper undone, the foot had spread and was all out of shape. I tried to close it up and actually could squash it closed with two fingers!

The 8011 has a zippered main closure and a two snap euro collar. This jacket

The interior has a full-sleeve thermal liner that can be easily removed. This
liner seals in your body heat and will keep you warm during the colder months.
When it gets warmer outside, you can take the quilted lining out, exposing a

when you perspire. To remove the liner, simply unzip the liner from the shell.
Then, unsnap the cuffs of the liner from the cuffs of the shell. The liner then
pulls right out. There are pockets on either side of the lining for extra

this armor, simply locate the desired armor pocket and unfasten the hook and

Moving onto the back, there is a horizontal zippered vent on the upper back that
allows hot air to flow out of the jacket and additional padding on the lower
back area for added protection. On the lower back there is a zippered stretch
panel that allows you to connect most riding pants onto the jacket. This gives
you a complete riding suit and helps protect your lower back from the elements
as well as the pavement.
