Comment: This is a good solid boot. Good protection in the shin,ankle,toe, and heel areas. Good gripping soles too. The down side is that after using these boots for two summers they leak badly in anything heavier than a mist. I apply a waterproofing wax to the leather every few months and they still leak. I recommend this as good all arond riding boot but NOT as a rain boot.

Comment: I bought a pair of these boots three years ago after I got tired of having wet feet whenever I rode in the rian. I now have over 30,000 miles of riding in these boots in all kinds of weather including many very heavy rain storms...Never a drop of water in the boot! The boot is comfortable , flexible and light weight. The only down sides to the boot so far are; excessive wear on the hook and loop on the sides, and the boot is a little thick on the instep to fit properly under my shifter on my Thunderbird (raising the shifter makes it too high). Apart from the hook and loop closure, the boot is wearing well. And they're even comfortable to hike in. Very happy with the boot.
