The ChatterBox XBi2-H Plus Bluetooth Intercom system is an excellent addition to your HJC Bluetooth ready helmet. This motorcycle helmet communication device is easy to install and since the HJC helmet and ChatterBox XBi2-H were essentially made for each other, the fit and finish is near flawless. The ChatterBox XBi2-H gives you the option to have a conference call with up to 16 people, allowing for more on the fly decision making while riding in a large group without pulling over to figure out the next location and you can also make and receive phone calls with up to 8 hours of talk time. This Bluetooth communication device also lets you listen to your music and GPS directions, which will come in handy if you get lost along the way.

    ChatterBox XBi2Hplus Review

Comment: I was skepitcal of this product and the price was steep for my taste, however since it was made for my HJC helmet I bit the bullet and bought it. I can say I am pleased with the purchase. I was gone for a week in Laconia this year and I was able to wirelessly listen to my music from my phone also talk while riding and I was able to hear. Pairing was easy and the install was a snap if your are the type who reads directions. I do suggest you practice using the features BEFORE RIDING so you can become accustomed to the buttons. I wasn't able to use the intercom function because no one else in the group had a ChatterBox.

Comment: I have used this 2 times now and it is nice to listen to music will I ride .I have not used the phone yet. I would like it if it were loader . My bike is load and it needs to be loader. It does brake up once and a while .It loses connection with the helmet I think it is over priced.

Comment: I like the concept behind the system. It does pair easily with my phone. I have not actually had the chance to test it while riding but have used it around the house to get familiar with the buttons. I thought the price was okay. I am still trying to figure out how to get the system to work with my voice activation on the phone. I have done it a few times but with all of the buttons, I have not mastered it yet. My biggest complaint about the system is its mounting. For some reason, I have found it "hanging" on my helmet a couple of times. After spending over $200 on it, I would hate to lose it while on the road. I do not think the 2 small clips are sufficient to hold the module into the helmet. I would like to see a set-screw from the inside or outside that would ensure it stays in the helmet. I tried to contact Jafrum today to discuss this issue but missed their business hours. I am definitely going to contact tech support, not because I don't like the system but rather to try to ensure I have mounted it correctly to prevent losing it.

There must be a better way...

Comment: Not impressed with this product. I ordered 2 for rider to passenger communication and have found it much easier to yell. Max volume isn't very loud in comm mode and is just adequate while paired to phone/music. Does not offer music share so rider passenger cant listen to the same iPod/MP3. ! of the units I ordered had a broken wall charger and after contacting Chatterbox (and leaving a message due to their banker hours) I have yet to hear anything back...been 3 weeks. The units may be ready for HJC helmets and do have a very clean install that was easy to do (2 helmets in less than 20 minutes) but the speakers aren't an exact fit for my HD branded HJC helmet do to oblong shape. I would recommend shping around for something with more features and less cost like the ScalaRider I almost bought and dealing with the "less clean" look
