GMax GM67S Helmet with Retractable Sun Shield

Comment: Very please with the fit and look and the price is great. Blocks out enough noise and the inside shade comes in handy.

Comment: This is a great helmet, but we had to send it back for an exchange. We bought two helmets, our measurements were 22" and 22 1/8". The size chart says small, but this is definitely MEDIUM.

Comment: This is a great helmet for a good value, but the sizing chart is not accurate. With a 24" measurement I ordered an XL - just to be safe, and I still had to return it for an XXL. Otherwise a very good value!

Comment: Great helmet for the price. Quality seems very high. Helmet runs small compared to the size chart. We went up one size and got a pretty good fit. Don't compare the size to another brand. You will not get a good fit.

Comment: I have ordered three (3) of these helmets in three different sizes- XL, XXL, and XXXL. I have not been able to tell any difference in the way the helmet fits. They all felt the same in size. It is a good helmet, but the sizing is way off.

Comment: This is a great helmet, especially for the price. I read several comments which led convinced me to buy the helmet one size larger than I normally wear. I had to send it back and buy the size I normally wear. So BUY THE SIZE YOU NORMALY WEAR.

Comment: Got the helmet, brake light, and chin guard. Nice flexibility in the helmet. It's great on noise up till about 45, then its a little on the louder side. Accurate fit; starts a bit tight, but forms nicely overtime. For flexibility and the price, I'm very happy and would buy again.

Comment: Excellent shipping time, great helmet. I take a hat size 7 1/4 so I bought a Medium and it fits perfect. I live in AZ so the vents on the helmet (mine is white) really help out. My head stays cool. Love the built-in sun visor. Helmet is also light.

Comment: Wasn't familiar with the GMax brand, but I figured, for the price, it couldn't hurt to try it. I am very pleased. The helmet appears to be well made and the adjustable ventilation is nice (my bald head has no trouble sweating and I can feel a nice amount of air flow through the helmet). The ONLY thing I wish they had was a polarized tinted sun shield. Since I wear glasses, I thought this would be a great feature. What comes with the helmet is dark enough, but it doesn't reduce glare from the sun - that can be slightly frustrating when driving into the sun and not being able to see because of glare.

Comment: Nice Helmet at a very good price. would have been a little small if I had not ordered 1 size up from normal for me. Overall I really like it. I started wearing glasses, so the flip down sun visor is nice and does not hit my glasses.

Comment: Delivery was great. 2 days and everything was here. Helmet fits find but I ordered a size larger than the chart said. Glad I did. Get a degree from MIT before you try installing the optional jaw set. Must be done after you put on the helmet since it prevents the helmet from flexing open to pull over your head.No way can you put the helmet on with the jaw piece installed. Wouldn't buy it again. Love everything else about the gm67s.

Comment: Bought 2 of the GMAX GM 67s helmets. Very nice helmets and the size chart worked for us. Would recommend to any one needing a new lid for a great price. Only bad comment is they could have been a little more accommodating with shipping charges.

Comment: Bought this for my husband for a gift and he loves it. I also purchased the chin guard attachment so he can convert as needed. Size is pretty true to size. Tip the more you wear it..it will loosen up some for you.

Comment: This helmet has the features comfort and appearence of a helmet of twice the price. But it is definately undersized. Order the helmet-just move up at least one size or be prepared to send it back. My wife XS took my M and it still fit tight. I then ordered a Large and it also fits tight. I love my helmet but the sizing is a serious issue.

Comment: As usual, Jafrum met and exceeded my expectaions on customer service. Quick shipment and no damage. The helmet fits well. Like other reviews recommend ordering 1 size larger than normal. Even with a windshield, the vents function very well. Only drawback is the "slide" for the internal visor. It could be better designed to "lock" in place.

Comment: I recently purchased the GM67S Helmet after reading all the reviews I could. Most reviews stated that you should buy the next size larger. I agree totally. I purchased the complete jaw set to go with the helmet and I had to go from Medium to an XL. The sizes do run small for me. The helmet fits well, the sun shield works well and is very functional. The clear shield that comes with the helmet blocks out a lot of wind and works well. When I add the jaw piece the helmet definitely feels tighter. I found the material below the chin bar will hinder remover of the helmet when attached. The material above the chin bar that deflects the wind touches the nose and will contribute to fogging up the clear shield unless you crack the shield. The seal between the jaw piece and the shield seal well and keep out the wind. Overall I am satisfied with the helmet.

Comment: I agree with some of the previous reviews that the helmet is on the smaller size. I probably should have gone for one size up. The speaker pockets do not work as they are very small. I had to remove some of the foam in order to seat the speakers properly as they were pressing directly against my ears. I like the flip down visor...the top mounted slide works very well. Overall a very good helmet.

Comment: I really like all of the vents. Appears to be very well made. Pull down sun visor works great. One of the things I was worried about was wind noise, but there is very little noise.

Comment: Shopped around for a helmet and for the $ this was far and above the rest ..too many extras to mention....flat black is the way to go ....many compliments..and when you add the light component pretty cool ..light not really effective during the day but after dark it stands out and is really unique...you cant go wrong for the $

Comment: Yesterday was my first time wearing the helmet and I was pleasantly surprised by the fit. Initially I thought it was tight but it did loosen up after while. My other helmet is a full face modular and it's a medium as well and both fit great and true to my size. Never wore a open face helmet and I had the mask on, which allowed a lot of wind noise. I guess that's to be expected. It was only 70 degrees so I'm sure I will really appreciate it when the temp goes into the 80's and 90's. I like the different levels of opening the mask depending on how much air you want. Great helmet for the price!!!

Comment: Great looking, well made helmet. Sizing is off though. Ended up with triple X. Sun sheild feature is great.
