HCI-77 Carbon Fiber Helmet DOT with Internal Sun Shield

Comment: HC-77 RUNS SMALL IN SIZING SO BEWARE! BY FOLLOWING THE SIZING CHART PROVIDED, I MEASURED 23" AT THE WEARING POSITION AND IT WAS TOO SMALL AND FIT INCORRRECTLY. MY JVC HELMET IS A LARGE AND FITS PERFECTLY BUT THIS HELMET RUNS SMALL IN SIZE. YOU SHOULD ORDER THE NEXT SIZE UP OR YOU WILL BE RETURNING IT. JAFFRUM ACCEPTED THE RETURN WITHOUT QUESTION. THE BOOTS, JACKET, CHAPS AND MOTOR CYCLE COVERS FIT PERFECTLY USING THE SIZING CHARTS PROVIDED. THIS ITEM IS AN EXCEPTION. THE HELMET IS BEAUTIFUL THOUGH AND I WOULD CERTAINLY RECOMMEND IT FOR THE PRICE.

Comment: Awesome helmet, very light and comfortable plus the vents work great. I was surprised with the amount of space for the ears and the clearity of both visors. I would definitely recommend this helmut to everyone.

Comment: The helmet was all that I'd hoped it would be when I ordered it, but I require prescription glasses when driving my bike. I was unable to put them on and then wear the helmet, or put the helmet on and then put my glasses on because of clearance problems. My advise to all glasses users, go with a modular full face. That's what I ended up doing. The helmet was great and return was easy, but you have to account for the additional impact of prescription glasses.

I want to share with you that because of the excellent service provided by Jafrum on returning my HCI helmet Large in exchange for the HCI XL, I was influential in getting two of my buddies at the gym who ride to order the HCI's as well.  I just took the helmet in and they saw right away the quality of the HCI product with the added feature of the sun visor.  

Please let the supervisor know who was kind enough to send me a return label at no charge, that I did not forget the favor.  To date I have purchased 1) naked leather gloves; 2) chaps; 3) leather jacket; 4) platoon boots; 5) Riggs motorcycle covers; 6) the HCI helmet. 

The service is super and the quality of the products offered are unsurpassed. 

Comment: This is a nice light weight helmet. I tried it couple of times so far. Feels good. Pay attention to the size. I ordered small size helmet as my other small size helmets like HJC, VEGA fit very well. But this one is little tighter. Pay attention to the size chart they provided. the helmet top liner inside sits on forehead. though it is tight from inside, it looks bigger from out side compared to my other helmets. Ears and nose/chin area feels spacious. Overall this is a good helmet if you are looking light weight helmet and are ok with its outward look and feel.

Comment: Received helmet today and tried it on a 17 mile ride. Fits great, is really quiet, sun shield works great and it is exceptionally light. One word on sizing - I have bought 4 Vega helmets from Jafrum of different styles and a medium size works for me. I went up 1 size on this helmet (Large size) and it fits perfectly.

Comment: Can't go wrong ordering from Jarfrum received my helmet & rain gear in 3 days. Products are EXCELLENT the helmet sizing is a size off as written by another reviewer. I went a size up from the sizing chart & it fit perfectly. Just got back from a 7 day ride. I feel the helmet provided plenty of air flow for me never felt suricated or over heated. Love the built in Luke Skywalker sun visor it was really convenient on those sunny days. Really like the carbon fiber look. No complaints here this is truly a great product.

Comment: This helmet is hard to beat for the price. It has adequate ventilation and is light in weight. The sun shield is a great addition for daylight riding and the retractable feature allows for riding at night without the shield. The helmet tends to lift at speed, but that's not an issue for me. Excellent value!
