HJC IS-33 Helmet

Comment: The helmet has a great finish, good air flow ventilation and the shield fits snug for low wind noise at 60 mph. The flip down sun visor is a great feature, I use it when riding into the sun, along with my prescription shades for added tint and glare reduction. I ordered the same size I bought for my AC3, started out a bit snug but after abought 10 hours of riding it formed to the shape of my head and is now comfortable. I ride in the rain and this helmet keeps me dry, at least when I remember to close the vents. I will pick one up for the wife when hers is due for a change.

Comment: Marvelous helmet. I bought this helmet to replace my CL-33 and wow what an improvement. The IS-33 is great helmet. If you are looking for an open face helmet at a great price look no further you found it with the IS-33. The fit is better than any other helmet I have owned. It fits snug and it is much better than my CL-33 which has always seemed to be a little loose. Fit wise it is closer to my full face CL-15. The ventilation system on the IS-33 is outstanding. It really works. The last few days have been in the 90s pushing 100 degrees but I could actually feel the air flow through the helmet. The built in sun visor is another great feature. It reminds me of my flying days and the sun visor of my flight helmet. I don’t wear eyeglasses but if you do there is no interference from the integrated visor. Although the visor looks like it doesn't extend far enough, it is actually just right. All in all I would recommend this helmet to anyone. Jafrum = great selection + great prices + great customer service.

Comment: I never thought I would like a helmet with a face shield but I do like this one for highway riding...no more face stinging rain or bugs and the visibility through the shield is distortion free. I think it is a very good helmet for the price and am quite happy with it.

Comment: great purchase. fits real well and has nice style. great price too. I shopped for a good helmet with low price. didn't sacrifice quality or design for priec either. size chart is pretty acurate, but remember it may feel a little snug at first if you bought the right size. Only wish it came with quick release clip instead of D rings. but you can buy the Echo quick release buckle part # AC1201. It's the best piece I have found and it goes on real easily. works great for only a few extra bucks. Ride safe.

Comment: Bought this helmet for rain and cold weather riding. I tried it out on a 100 deg day and was supprised that i did not burn up, decent air circulation with vents open. reasonably quiet with shield down. So far i like it.

Comment: Wasn't sure what I was going to get but it was perfect. I wear glasses and this is great. The clear shield seals great, and removal is easy. The drop down visor works perfectly. Great buy for the price.

Comment: It is a very nice helmet that is quite comfortable it has good vetilation and the wiki lining is perfect for hot long rides.

Comment: I originally bought the large helmet and it was too tight despite the chart. I returned the first helmet and bought the next size up. Customer Service was extremely helpful. Great product

Comment: 2 Days after receiving our new helmets we went on vacation to upstate NY in the Adirondacks. The helmets performed superbly and even dampened a lot of road noise when the face shield was pulled down. The extra drop down smoke shield (Sun Shield Visor) was very much appreciated and worked smoothly. My wife and I really liked the IS-33 helmet and would highly reccommend it. Price is great for value of the helmet!

Comment: I bought this for my wife to replace her old worn out Shoei helmet. She likes having a faceshield and the fact that this one is a flip, with a flip down sun visor, makes it that much better. This is a quality helmet but sizes run small. The first one we got she could not even get on her head. Jafrum was great about the problem and took care of it right away. We ordered the next bigger size and it fit perfect. Mamas happy, everybody happy. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the sizing.

Comment: Purchased 2 of these for the wife and I, and installed Scala intercom purchased from Jafrum for these helmets. Fit and finish are excellent, although I find size to be a bit snug. Likely it will conform after more use. Sun visor is nice, but a light shade. Airflow is great through the vents.

Comment: I'm a female, 2013 CVO Road Glide rider and this is my second helmet that I've purchased. I had my other one for 3 years and had to replace it due to dropping it/scuffing it up. I LOVE this helmet!! You can replace the shield if you like which is an awesome feature. I wear a medium and it fits perfectly. I have a Harley helmet that is a 1/2 helmet with a visor included and it doesn't even compare to this awesome one! Buy with confidence! My Favorite Helmet!!

Comment: This is a great helmet especially with the sunglass insert . I would suggest that you get a size larger than usual because it fits tightly. Order came quickly as has other merchandise I have ordered from Jafrum.

Comment: My measurement was right at the high end of medium, so I went with a large. The fit is just right. This is the best open face helmet I've owned. Sun shade works great and you never realize you're looking thru a visor.
