Great Buy

Purchased this on recommendations in the reviews. Was not disappointed. This thing is heavy and solid. Beautiful piece and the price is amazing considering they usually cost $30 to $40.

Our HD receiver style trailer hitch plugs have a heavy duty all metal construction, and they're three eighths of an inch thick so they'll definitely take some abuse. These hitch plugs come in three bad ass styles. The first is a full color Harley Davidson emblem. The white and orange colored epoxy is laid into channels so it won't rub or scratch off. This is a nice, large plug, too. It measures five and a quarterby four and a quarter so it will show up nicely on the back of your truck or SUV, and it weighs almost a pound to give you an idea of the heavy construction. The second version is for the ladies of HD. It doesn't have any text on it but it's undeniably Harley. You can see the crest in the center that's flanked on either side by these butterfly wings that are decorated in filigree. If you look closely, you can see the silver areas are scored to give the plug a machined look. This is also a large plug measuring eight and five sixteenths by 3, with the same heavy weight as the logo version. This final style is my favorite. This Harley American Legend hitch plug has the same brushed surface as this filigree version but with a U.S. route sign profile. It measures

five and three sixteenths by three and three quarter and has the same heavy duty construction as these other two models There are two sets of brackets included with your hitch plug to accommodate inch and a quarter or two inch hitch stems. I have to warn you, though, the assembly that these plugs require leaves a little to be desired. All you get to install are these brackets to the back of the plug using four included screws and lock washers. You don't even get to scrounge for your own hardware. I tried to figure out how to incorporate a hammer drill or a ramset into the install, but, nothing. Once you have the plug assembled with the proper brackets, it should slide right into the receiver. You're going to need to supply a hitch pin and cotter to hold the plug into your receiver. There is not one included.

Is the logo and wings a sticker ?

Best Answer:ThIs item is a metal hitch cover but Jafrum does carry stickers for your vehicle. It doesn't look exactly like this but I bought one that is silver when I bought this hitchcover. They both look nice on my vehicle.
