Jacket Sizing Information. There are three variables to consider when sizing an ICON jacket. The first two are the chest and sleeve measurements, which are what your jacket size is based on. The third is the jacket fit type, which defines the "cut" of the jacket (Attack, Sport, or Relaxed). Instructions, sizing charts and jacket fit details can be found below.
Chest Measurement. While standing with your arms relaxed at your side, wrap a flexible tape measure around your chest at its largest point. The tape measure should go through your armpit and stay parallel with the floor while taking the measurement
Sleeve Measurement Instructions. While standing with your arms relaxed at your side, place one end of a flexible tape measure on your spine at the base of your neck. Measure over the top of your shoulder, down over the point of your elbow, and finish at the wrist bone.
This is the Hooligan Street Jersey from Icon. The model we’re looking at
today is the new Spaztyk graphic in green. To get a closer look at all of the
new colors and graphics available, click the link below to check out the
individual item photos. This Hooligan Jersey is perfect for the street rider
looking for an ultra-lightweight armored chassis with bold colors and graphics.
This new Spaztyk version of the Hooligan jersey has some updated features over
the standard version, but carries a mere ten dollar higher price tag as a
result. The shell is made of a highly breathable polyester material Icon calls
Fierce Mesh. Polyester doesn’t have quite the abrasion resistance that nylon
has, but it has excellent UV resistance and colorfast, traits that are necessary
to make sure the bold sublimated colors and graphics stay put. The Hooligan
Spaztyk is available in five colorways for dudes including this green, and the
ladies get two bold colorways of their own. To get a better look at the
different colors, check out the high res photos on the listing. The fit is
pretty generous, leaving plenty of room for a base layer or a hoody, and this
jacket is available is men’s sizes small to 4X, and ladies sizes XS thru 2XL.
The biggest improvement of this updated Spaztyk Hooligan Jersey versus the
previous version has got to be the armor. This new jacket features D3O armor in
the shoulders, elbows, and back. This is some of the best armor on the market,
giving this jersey as much impact absorption as many of the touring mesh jackets
out there. For those of you not yet familiar with D3O, it’s pretty incredible
stuff. The armor is pliable in its static condition, but in an impact, the
molecules of this material align, making it very rigid. When the impact energy
subsides, the armor returns to a relaxed state. This all happens in fractions of
Another one of the updated areas of the jacket is at the cuffs of the sleeves.
The snap closure has been replaced with this stretchy gusset setup called
FlexCuff. If you look inside the sleeve, you can see the heavier elastic band
the keeps the gusset from getting stretched out. This setup creates a very
comfortable relationship between your jacket and your warm weather gloves. Let’s
not forget, though the most important feature of these sleeves. They come off.
Yep. Just when you thought there was no remedy for your impossibly hot elbows,
boom. Icon makes a jacket with removable sleeves, and your right back on the
road, wenis in the wind.
Storage comes in the form of these two hand warmer pockets with Autolock YKK
zips. If you unfasten the main closure zipper, you can see the small items
pocket on the rider’s right, and the electronics pocket on the left. You also
get this clever little ring to fish your ear bud wires through. If you make a
loop in the headphone wire around the around this little cable manager it will
keep you from pulling your ear buds out of your ears as you move around on your
