Deluxe Lockable Motorcycle Sizing Instructions

Measure distance horizontally from the edge of the rear turn signal to where the passenger would be aligned on the seat. Next, measure the distance vertically from the exhaust pipe to approximately two inches below the top of the rear fender. *Please remember to allow at least one inch clearance between the bottom of the saddlebag and the exhaust pipe. This will prevent the saddlebag from being damaged by touching the exhaust pipe.

Throw Over Mounting Instructions

Generally, to install throw-over saddlebags to your bike, you would need to remove the passenger seat. You would then ensure that the hook and loop connectors are firmly pressed together and secure bonding the two bags. To ensure additional stability, use the strap at the top of one saddlebag and thread through the double d-ring on the other saddlebag. Place the saddlebags on the top of your bike and adjust to how you want the bags to sit. After this is complete, re-install your passenger seat back on the bike. There are additional straps on the bottom of the saddlebags for added security and stability as well.

Hard Mounting Instructions

Visually align saddlebags to your bike (you make need a second pair of hands) to give a general idea of where bags should be placed. Attach your barrel bolts and washers to the bags and attach saddlebags to your bike with the fender bolts.

I have already been thru saddlebags that fade, warp and stretch that unseems at stress points. This time I think I finally found the saddlebags I've always been needing. These bags are durably strong, look great and for the price WOW!
They wasnt to hard to install with universal brackets that I also purchased from Jafrum. Believe it or not I installed them on my 2004 zx12r ninja, THATS RIGHT I SAID NINJA and they look great. Gives the bike that euro touring bike look that it was designed for. I'm very pleased! For the price, I feel like I took advantage.....and I did! lol

I purchased a set of Medium bags for my 2009 Honda Shadow Spirit C2 and attached them using easy brackets. For the price, I thought they would be cheap. When I opened the box I was very surprised on how well they were made. They fit very well, look awesome and are easy to open and close. I recommend this product to anyone looking for an in expensive bag.

Fit My '09 VStar 650 Classic Perfectly!!

by - verified purchaser
These saddle bags are just the right size to hold my riding gear. They're made of good quality materials so I feel they'll last awhile too, and at less than $100 price point you can't go wrong. Thanks for good quality products Jafrum! Would've given 5 stars if the description indicated the mounting brackets weren't included, but for another $35, I'm still pleased. they fit my '09 VStar 650 classic perfectly!!

These For My 2008 HD Fat Bob

by - verified purchaser
I bought these for my 2008 HD fat Bob with a wide glide rear fender conversion. They are a little tricky to get lined up at first. It would definitely help to have an extra person on hand to line them up but once they are on you can just use the d ring strap to keep them in that position and really shouldn't have to do it again. You can't beat the price though. I do suggest using a waterproofing as well.

Saddlebags for United Motors 250 Cruise

by - verified purchaser
I bought this set and installed on a United Motors 250 Cruise. Other than needing to go to Lowes and buy longer bolts, they mounted very easily and give the bike a great look with welcomed functionality. I'm able to put my leather jacket into one without a problem, and they have been very water-tight so far. I definitely recommend them for the value!

They Are For My 2008 Vegas 8 Ball

by - verified purchaser
HI...I have had multiple bags over the years.
These bags are way better priced than my previous bags and they are the same bag.
They are for my 2008 Vegas 8 Ball and fit the lines of the bike perfectly.
They will not lose their shape like most leather bags do.
I'LL BE BACK!!!

Saddlebags fit my 2011 Fury

by - verified purchaser
I was a little on the fence about ordering bags in general. I have never owned a set to speak of. Also they don't make any brackets or supports truly designed for the Fury. When the bags arrived I was amazed at the quality. I looked at some bags in and around my area that didnt look near as nice and cost twice the money. Comparable to Saddleman bags in quality. I have them mounted with brakets I fabricated and they look great on the bike. I don't recommend the included brackets for anything but the trash though.

Nice Bags

I really like the look and feel of these bags. However, I have no way to attach them to my Aprilia without major modifications to the bags even as throw-overs, so I will sadly be returning them in search of something more suitable.

SD2002 Brilliant

by - verified purchaser
Cannot believe these at this price. To own a motorcycle one should be able to work with metal. I made brackets, wasn't hard. Bags look fantastic. If you can't handle tools then just sling these over your saddle and tie them down. Great buy!!

2011 Yamaha Road Star

by - verified purchaser
The bags are smaller than I anticipated but work for my bike. I had to order brackets specific for my bike however. The brackets included just couldn't be made to work. Plus, they're ugly as sin! By the brackets, you'll be happier. I bought the ones with the extra mounting holes. Drilled the bags to be able to hard-attach them. They look fine on the Road Star. They're worth the money. They are small and the tops are a little cumbersome on this bike but usable.

Saddlebags for Triumph Bonneville America

by - verified purchaser
In light of the inflated prices of some of the preminum bags out there, did not really have high expectations for these inexpensive units but wanted something that complimented the saddle on my Triumph Bonneville America. When received was very impressed and well pleased with both their looks and the quality of construction. Hardware and lack of installation instructions a little confusing but most bikers will soon figure it out, perhaps with a addition of a couple tie straps. Overall, a very good value.

Saddlebags fit my Yamaha VStar 650

by - verified purchaser
Bought these bags for my yamaha vstar 650. I needed a set of bags that were big enough to put a jacket along with other things in them. Also needed to be able to lock them. These bags are big enough to put a battery operated drill with charger and extra battery in one bag. Hard mounts are okay that came with it. For price you want be disappointed. Look and fill like more expensive bags.
