Outstanding comfort right out of the package. I've been a fan of the outside seams for a long time and these gloves have that feature. i got these in black and they are nicely understated with no boy-racer looks or obnoxious branding. Protection appears to be above average, with a number of reinforced areas and hard plastic knuckle protection. I rode with these in 35 degrees fahrenheit weather and was very grateful for my heated grips. I'd say that you'll need something else if you ride in weather colder than about 45. A word about size: I used the sizing chart and it called for a "Large", but they are kind of snug. I expect they will stretch out a bit with more wear. I can't speak to durability or hot weather yet and they are most definitely not waterproof. All in all, I highly recommend these gloves.

There is something pretty cool going on in motorcycle apparel right now. Numerous companies are making pro level gear at affordable prices. Scorpion is making some of the best I've seen and these Guardian gloves are a great example.
This glove is made of grade A cowhide with extra reinforced areas throughout the palm. It's available in three color ways including all black, black and white, and the black, white and red you see here. One of the smartest features with this glove is the way they have assembled these hide pieces. Scorpion calls the construction process Exo-Stitch. The seams on most gloves look like this. The glove is stitched together then turned inside out for a cleaner look. Scorpion http://www.jafrum.com/Shop-By-Brand/Scorpionleft the seams on the outside on the palm side of the fingers. This is amazing for the feel of the glove. It's completely smooth feeling in here. The glove has no shortage of protection either. The knuckles are protected by a TPU protector. There is a TPR protector for the ulna and these abrasion resistant inserts in the fingers and covering the outer pad on the palm. There is an additional pad that protects the basilar joint of the thumb. You have a hook and loop style fastener for both the gauntlet closure and wrist strap.
Again, I'm really excited to see companies like Scorpion create track level gear for the street riding masses.
