Comment: My Recruit Jacket arrived today and it looks great. It fits perfectly. I am 5'8", 190lbs and have a bit of belly. Liner in, the size large fits well in the trunk with a bit extra so you can move and breath. The arms are snug. It is a well-made jacket albeit a bit stiff as it is cold today and the jacket is new. Since it is my Christmas present to myself, I wont be able to ride with it until Spring. I will wear it to break it in until then. Jafrum's price was well below most of the online retailers on this jacket. There was one other a smidgen cheaper, but I stuck with Jafrum and it arrived on the fifth day (3 business). I didn't get a tracking number, but I e-mailed and they responded immediately with it and all is well. They answer e-mails promptly.

Scorpion Recruit Leather Jacket Review
Comment: I was concerned about sizing based on the other reviews. but found the jacket to be a true size large. The leather is thick and supple and the full liner is comfortable. I rode in 40 degree weather with a long john shirt and was comfortable. The only negatives are the Velcro zipper tab at the top of the jacket doesn't close out of the way should you have the jacket unzipped and the leather pulls on the zippers easily came off.
Scorpion Recruit Jacket Review
Comment: Large fit me (5'8" 190lbs) perfectly. Jacket is stiff initially, but has been loosening up. It's winter and below zero now so I can only attest to its fit and finish. It is well made, has plenty of insulation and armor, but the collar closure is very stiff. I hope that it will soften up in summer weather. Very nice looking jacket. Jafrum's price was lowest and it arrived quickly.

Scorpion Recruit Jacket Review
Comment: Have been wearing this for a month now. From 25 degrees to almost 80. At 25 I did add the extra layer of a vest but was toasty inside. The fit seemed to be spot on.
Scorpion Recruit Leather Jacket Review
Comment: Have had this jacket for about two months now. This is a very nice jacket. Thick heavy leather that should do a great job protecting you if you're unlucky enough to have a spill. Initially ordered a XL and had to exchange it for XXL. I'm 5'10" 230lbs. XL was too tight in the chest and belly area. Jafrum's exchange process was excellent. Great product and great customer service!

Scorpion Recuit - Amazing!
Comment: This jacket is absolutely amazing! Fantastic quality, features, style, and value. For those of you who would not consider Scorpion as a primary choice for your gear, you're selling yourselves short. I'd put this jacket on par with any Alpinestars jacket without hesitation. The fit is true to size, the quality is amazing, and the fit is remarkable. Combine this amazing jacket with the great deal and awesome shipping/service from Jafrum, and you have an unbeatable combo. You will not be dissatisfied with this jacket! A++++++ Jafrum!
super bad ass
Comment: Once again jafrum has impressed with thier quick delivery (even with thier area getting hammered by a bad storm). The jacket makes the northwest riding instantly warmer. For the price, its a superior leather jacket. After a few rides the leather softens up and feels great. I have only one complaint, to me the "velcro" is the crappy kind that wears out fast, unless you dont adjust itvery often. Other than that minor issue I have no real gripes.
Comment: I've worn it from 35 to 80 degrees and am thoroughly impressed with Scorpions quality fit and finish and with Jafrums description service and delivery. Top notch on both counts. I will definitely be returning to Jafrum for my future Scorpion purchases.
Recruit Scorpion leather jacket review
Comment: 230, 6 2". 2 XL, perfect fit. I like the sleeves are long enough. Heavy leather used some leather treatment helped soften it up. I agree Velcro tab at coller is not too good. But what a coat for the price. Amazing. Good service as well.
A sweet jacket & a sweet deal!
Comment: My Recruit Jacket arrived the other day and it looks great. The 2xl fit perfectly. I am 6', 210lbs, with a bit extra so you can move and breathe. The arms are just a bit long but will be needed when it gets cold. It is a well-made jacket, the leather is substantial. Should keep the cold and the road out! Jarfrum’s price was well below all of the online retailers on this jacket and the closeout price made it a steal. Another great product from Jafrum and fast delivery.
Comment: This jacket was more than expected especially for the closeout price of $119. The jacket is loaded with safety features and comes with the zip out liner for extended season riding. Although I haven't tested it in weather below about 45 degrees, it was very comfortable at that temperature. I ordered the extra large size (I'm 6'2" tall and about 190 pounds and usually order either a large tall or extra large for shirt size) and the jacket fit well, though it is a bit snug if you layer something underneath. I did feel the wind up my sleeves a bit, even with the liner in, so a gauntlet style glove would work best with this jacket if used in colder weather. Vents work very well and are easy to adjust. The order came quickly and the quality of service was excellent. The jacket looks good, is well made, and is a jacket for the safety conscious rider. Though I don't have much to compare it to, since this is my first leather jacket specifically purchased for riding, I have had no problems so far with it, and I would recommend the jacket.
I love it
Comment: I ordered extra large, it is a half size smaller than expected so it was a perfect fit. It looks and feels excellent and is a steal at the current price.
Comment: Great quality leather with good protection. Leather a little stiff but it will break in over time. I am 6'1 200 lbs, xl fits perfect. 1 con is the back protector compartment is weird. Can't seem to get other armor in there. However the supplied foam is ok because the leather is very heavy.
Great Motorcycle Jacket
Comment: First off this is a heavy and well made jacket. The jacket is true to size. Do NOT order a size up. The only knock is the collar. Perhaps I need to brake it in more but it is hard and it doesn't feel good an your throat. I am working it so it will hopefully soften up. Overall this is a great jacket for the money.

Buy It !!
Comment: This one is a "No Brain-er". Well built, heavy leather jacket, the Velcro collar closure is not an issue. You will not be disappointed with this jacket. I ride in the Texas Panhandle, we have relentless wind, and this jacket performs beautifully. I have had it out in 40 degree weather, did not even need the liner! At this price, I plan to buy another one for a spare, you are not going to find another jacket of this quality at this price anywhere.
The Scorpion Recruit Leather Jacket retailed initially at between 320 and 335
dollars depending on the size. Even at retail, this was a good price for a
premium leather jacket, but still a major investment, no doubt about it. Well,
what if it only cost half that? At Jafrum, we are selling brand new Scorpion
Recruit Leather Jackets for less than 150 bucks. Now you can have a top of the
line, name brand, genuine leather
motorcycle jacket for the
price of most mesh jackets.
The Scorpion Recruit is made of 1.2 -- 1.4 mm leather and is available in sizes
large, extra-large, and 2XL. This jacket has a really full cut. Billy, here, is
5'10'' - 160 and usually wears between a medium and a large. This is a large and
you can see he has more than enough room for the thickest of hoodies. In fact,
with the liner removed, this jacket would be too big for him, so keep that in
mind when ordering. These jackets are going to be for our larger riders for
This Recruit is going to be your three season jacket. It has plenty of
ventilation to keep you cool on warmer days with large zippered vents on the
chest that open up wide to funnel air into the jacket. There are also zippered
vents at the kidneys to help extract the hot moist air given off by your body.
On cooler days, you can install the full sleeve quilted thermal liner to help
retain some of that body heat. While this is a very thick leather, the huge
vents on the front may leak a little too much air, even when closed, to call
this a great winter riding jacket, but your definitely good at temperatures
above freezing with the right layering.
This jacket has a really cool style to it. You get that classic black leather
biker jacket style, but with some subtle modern details like the embossed
stingers on the shoulders and the Scorpion text on the chest. You also get the
modern safety of CE rated armor in the shoulders and elbows with a foam back
pad, and a subtle strip of hi-vis piping across the shoulders on the back.
