Comment: Great fitting cool (temperature) jacket. I feel as thorough out has plenty of protection.
Awesome looking with great protection.
Comment: This is my first jacket and I have to admit I was very impressed with the workmanship. I've noticed that you usually have to choose looks or functionality. With this jacket it offered it all, looks, comfort, protection flexibility of hot weather or slightly cold weather. It fits true to size, maybe a little smaller with the liner but not much. Ventilation is very good and I was surprised how comfortable it was with the armor and back padding installed. Scorpion did a great job on this jacket, and Jafrum has the best price and service.
Very good quality, Scorpion Tornado Jacket
Comment: My first purchase. Fast shipping to Ukraine. Good jacket. . I very like Jafrum.com.
Scorpion Tornado Jacket Review
Comment: This is a very nice jacket, made better by Jafrum's great price. With the liner in it is quite comfortable in pretty chilly weather. 40 degress at night in Michigan and still toasty. I wish it had more reflective surface on the back to help other drivers see me at night. Great service by Jafrum as well
Good Jacket for Good Price
Comment: I received my jacket 3 days ago and it looks of good quality. I live in South Florida so I took the thermal liner off and tried it on. I'm 5'.7" tall and about 160 pounds so I ordered the medium and it fits great. I tried it for my commute to work in the morning and it was good. When I came back in the afternoon it felt hot (south florida is hot most of the year).
Pros: good quality, looks very sharp, thermal liner easy to remove and install for weather changes, feels good up to 85 degree weather. Cons: feels a little stiff (may need to be broken in), would love some microfiber around the neck for more comfort, anything above 85 degrees and you will sweat.
Have purchased before from Jafrum and the shipping is fast. Love this online store.
Scorpion Tornado Jacket Review
Comment: Got this as a fall/early winter jacket. I'm In the south and inserting the removable liner might actually be perfect for riding in the cold months for me. Comfortable and true to size IMO

Scorpion Tornado Jacket Review
Comment: I received the jacket, but have not been able to ride with it on yet. I tried the jacket on, the fit is a bit tight. But I love the jacket, it is great looking and has air adjustment zippers in all the places you. I am glad it has armor on the back and the elbows.
Scorpion Tornado Jacket Review
Comment: I bought this jacket for my boyfriend for Valentine's day and was extremely impressed with the quality of the jacket. It even came with extra neither of us knew about and the price was extradionary! I've already recommended this site and product to a few other racers looking for reasonably priced, yet still has all the performance of a jacket 3 times the price! Awesome product!!
Comment: Couldnt of asked for a better jacket in this price range! Fit is perfect, and jacket feels awesome, back padding is a plus as well while the overall weigh is nice.
I found that the Alpinestars and Icon jackets had too tall of a collar on them for my neck(short) and the Scorpion did not.
These are a few jackets that I’ve found to be packed with quality and
features, but aren’t going to break the bank; a Bang for Your Buck Buying Guide
if you will. The first jacket I want to show you is what I like to call a
kitchen sink jacket. The Tour Master Sonora Air is a three quarter length, three
layer, all season bargain that has every feature you could want other than a
kitchen sink. It’s like an intake Air on steroids. This mesh shelled jacket
comes in a multitude of sizes including talls, and three color ways including
all black, this gunmetal and black, and a high viz yellow version. The closure
features a lightweight yet heavy duty nylon two way zipper with a hook and loop
retainer, and the collar has a ridge of soft fabric around the edge to eliminate
irritation. There are four pockets on the front including two on the sternum and
two down near the waist. The jacket is highly adjustable with hook and loop
straps at the waist and snap style stretchy adjusters on the sleeves. There is
high viz piping running down the edges on the front with more reflective piping
and panels on the sleeves and across the back. The Sonora is equipped with CE
approved armor in the shoulders and elbows with a foam pad in the back…
Unzipping the jacket exposes the real value. The mesh shell of the Sonora hides
a removable waterproof liner and a removable quilted thermal liner inside the
waterproof one. Both liners are equipped with pockets so you have ample storage
capacity no matter which liner or liners you are using. The two liners have the
same zipper dimensions so you can use the shell with either liner, making this
one of the most versatile jackets you can buy.
The next jacket in our Bang for The Buck Lineup is the Scorpion Tornado. The
Tornado is actually no longer a part of Scorpion’s current lineup. We like this
jacket so much that when we found out Scorpion was discontinuing it, we bought
as many as we could. We have them in good supply and we’re passing the savings
on to you. The tornado is available in sizes small thru 2x with accent colors of
white, blue, and red. The shell of the Tornado is constructed using a 600 denier
water resistant nylon with ballistic polyester panels in the shoulders and arms.
The main closure features a lightweight nylon zipper with an ergonomic pull tab.
Adjustability is plentiful and can be found in the form of these hook and loop
adjusters at the waist and on the sleeves. The front features two zippered vents
to keep you cool and two hand warmer pockets for added storage. The back of the
jacket features two more zippered vents for drawing hot air out of the jacket as
well as high vis panels in the shoulders and piping across the back. Unzipping
the jacket reveals a full sleeve quilted thermal liner with a moisture absorbent
panel in the pack and a slit for accessing the interior pocket of the shell.
Don’t forget to check the product listing for the price on this one. You will
not be disappointed.
Ok… now let’s take a look at the MJ1563 Textile jacket. This is a great
lightweight jacket with the fit and features motorcyclists need, for about the
price of a licensed tshirt from your favorite professional sports team. The 1563
is made of a heavy duty water resistant nylon material and comes in either this
black with the high vis paneling or an all-black version with high viz piping.
This jacket does not have armor in the shoulders or elbows, so it is going to
fit like a regular casual jacket. Ventilation is key with textiles and the 1563
has vents everywhere. There are two vents on the chest, two on the biceps, and
two on the back. The vents have mesh inserts to keep the bugs out and zippers to
close them off entirely. Opening the jacket reveals a hidden pocket and the
removable full sleeve quilted thermal liner. Removing the thermal liner exposes
a fixed mesh liner that promotes airflow and mobility.
The next jacket I want you to see is another model from Tour Master called the
Transition 3. This ¾ length jacket is highly functional like the Sonora we just
looked at but is equipped with a 600 denier nylon and 1680 denier ballistic
polyester shell as opposed to the mesh, making it much more abrasion resistant
in a crash. This jacket is available in sizes xs – 3xlt, and seven handsome
color ways including black, blue, high vis yellow, red, silver, wine, and
yellow. Probably the most notable feature on this Transition Jacket is the
Pipeline ventilation system with waterproof zippers. On warmer days, you can
unfasten this cover flap and unzip the vent to keep you cool. You can hold the
vent open for extra airflow by adjusting this snap style adjuster. Speaking of
adjustment, this jacket has adjustability galore in the form of these stretchy,
button down straps on the arms, hook and loop straps at the waist, and hook and
loop tabs with reflective panels at the bottom edge. The vents on the chest
feature the same waterproof zippers and there are reflective stripes, piping,
and Phoslite panels covering pretty much the entire jacket. The back of the
jacket features a highly reflective Tourmaster logo and a full width zippered
exhaust vent. Unzipping the Transition 3 reveals the full sleeve quilted liner
with pockets and an additional zippered pocket in the shell. This really is a go
anywhere, do anything model. Check out the listing for the low price.
We have a couple more for you today. Next is one of my personal favorite bangs
for the buck. This is the River Road Laughlin Textile Jacket. Many motorcycle
apparel companies are making jackets that look more like casual apparel rather
than something that came straight from the racetrack or clubhouse. This Laughlin
is a great example. This jacket is ideal for all seasons but it is not
waterproof. The soft polynylon material is water resistant but the zippers
aren’t so you will get a little wet in steady rain, a situation easily remedied
with some raingear. The main closure features an all metal zipper that runs all
the way up the snap down collar, and a pull tab retainer strap. The top zippered
pockets double as vents and feature these stretchy tabs to keep the zippers
quiet. There are four additional pockets on the exterior including two snap down
breast pockets and two hand warmer pockets. Adjustable staps are are located at
the waist and on the cuffs of the sleeves. There is charcoal colored high vis
piping along the shoulders and across the back where you can see two additional
vents for extracting hot air during warmer rides. The Laughlin features CE
approved armor in the shoulders and elbows and a foam back pad. Inside the
jacket is a removable, waterproof, quilted thermal liner that is flanked by a
hidden pocket. There are additional pockets in the liner itself that are
duplicated on the shell for use when the liner is removed. This jacket looks
great. This one is definitely going into my personal collection.
Finally, I wanted to show you something in leather. Most riders don’t associate
leather with low price, but at Jafrum we have an entire collection of high
quality leather jackets and chaps for about the price of a hooded sweatshirt
from the mall. This Detour 8002 premium leather jacket is one of my favorites.
This jacket comes in either brown or black and is available in sizes M – 5X. The
main closure is equipped with a heavy duty metal zipper and a Euro style collar.
The front has two low profile vents above two hand warmer pockets and high vis
piping across the chest. There is CE approved armor in the shoulders and elbows
that is well hidden by the cut of the jacket. On the back, you can see the full
width zippered exhaust vent that is trimmed with high vis piping. The shoulders
have expansion panels that dramatically improve mobility and there is a zippered
panel for attaching a pair of pants to make a complete suit. Inside the 8002 is
a removable, quilted thermal liner that is flanked on either side by a snap
