First, I need to give Jafrum International 5 stars. The products were shipped and packed fine and arrived ok. Also, their customer support is very responsive. And also, there are some product descriptions and videos that Jafrum provides to help you to make a decision. I am happy with my choice of a helmet from Jafrum. As for the Nelson Rigg bags: I did some research and hoped that I made the right decision on buying these bags. Mostly, they are ok, a good product, and I think they will be useful. The rain covers are of good quality and can be snugged tiightly when you need to cover the bags. Haven't tried them in the rain, but I think they will be ok. But why the 3 rating? I am tempted to call Nelson Rigg "Nelson Ripoff." When I followed the instructions page to put the bags together, the FIRST step in the instructions says to "Insert the plastic saddlebag stiffener...." There was no saddlebag stiffener with the product. I contacted Jafrum, and they patiently did the research and called me back to inform me that the plastic stiffners are a separate item and can be ordered on the Nelson "Rigged" website for How much? $28!!!!! For a plastic liner???? Two thinslits of plastic? What a disappointment!! I am now in the process of making my own stiffner, which can be made from plastic, cardboard, or some other material, for much less than $28. Come on, Nelson Ripoff, you can surely afford to put two pieces of plastic in the package and charge us meek, vulnerable sheep an extra two dollars for them, and still make a 100% profit on those pieces of plastic alone. To be fair to Nelson "whatever-you-want- to-call-them," under the paragraph in the fitst step of the instructions, there is a tiny, tiny sentence that says the stiffeners are optional anc can be purchased separately. Get out your microscope to read that statement. I haven't seen such tiny print since the Instaflex ripoff ads. Most products that need batteries will tell you up front, "Batteries not included." I wish I had known this before receiving the product and starting to put the bags together. My bad.
