Are these jackets completely waterproof or just water resistant and are they breathable so you don;t get wet from persperation?

Best Answer:It's completely water proof. I've ridden in the rain for hours at a time (terrible day) but stayed pretty much completely dry. Any time a waterproof piece of clothing says it's "breathable" I roll my eyes. I wore it all day in the rain and never got too hot and sweaty, but of course I still felt a little damp because it was raining and very humid. The term "breathable" for a rain jacket is kind of irrelevant. It did vent well through openings, but the fabric itself is sealed up pretty tight.
