These are nice looking bags and the panels help, it would be better if there were panels in the tops to keep them in shape.

Do these bags require brackets for installation?
    jeff h on Apr 12, 2015
    Best Answer:Jeff,

I got brackets for my bike and am more relaxed about not having my bags rub aganist moving parts and getting burned on the exhaust pipe, which it did the first time I put stuff in the bags. So now I have a big burned spot on the bottom. :-{ I am sorry that I can't really answer your question.

Do these bags actually fit the V Star 650 Classic without alterations?
    A shopper on Apr 29, 2015
Best Answer:We do not have bike specific information for these saddle bags. You will have to measure to see if they will work for you. Measure from the top of the fender down to 2 inches above exhaust for your height. Taillight to the back of the driver seat for the length. Width will not matter as much.
