These Tyrant motosport goggles are Scott’s flagship adult goggle model. They have two separate listings on our site; one for the colorways with clear lenses, and one for the colorways with chrome lenses. We also have an excellent selection of Scott replacement parts and accessories as well.
The number one function a motosport goggle is to protect the rider’s eyes from dust and dirt. Sounds easy enough right? Well, it’s a tougher job than you might think. Goggles also need to fit precisely and manage moisture and airflow. These Tyrant goggles do all of that quite well. They share a lens with the Hustle goggles which is nice for the consumer. Sharing lenses keeps the replacement cost low. These lenses are also compatible with Scott’s Works Film System. You can use tearoffs with the stock pin setup, or switch over to the pins included with the Works Film System and you can use the film canisters with or without tearoffs layered on top. For more details on the Works Film System, check out the individual video.
Precision fit is necessary if any of a goggles functions like moisture control and fog reduction are going to work properly. The Scott Fit System allows you to adjust the shape of the goggle to best conform to your face. This included tool is used to turn these screw heads that are now on the outside of the goggle. You can see how the shape changes. The way the strap connects to the frame also affects the fit. The Tyrants are equipped with an outrigger style strap connection that pulls the goggles evenly against the rider’s face. Once you have the fit dialed in, the silicone band on the inside of the strap will keep everything in place. The last adjustment you will need to make is the nose guard. It has three positions to provide the optimal coverage.
Airflow is managed by the large vents that cover the perimeter of the goggle with a Ram Air vent at the top that aids in lens fog prevention. Sweat and moisture are managed by Scott’s No Sweat 3.2 Face Foam.
