Shoei Kako Company, LTD was established in 1959 in Tokyo, Japan and has since provided the world with outstanding quality motorcycle helmets. By 1965, Honda recognized their quality and adopted them as their helmet provider. Shoei throughout the years has been the first in many helmet innovations: for example it was the first helmet manufacturer to produce a helmet using Carbon Fiber in 1976. It was also the first company to incorporate Kevlar in their helmet's construction. Today, Shoei helmets retains itself as a small company with loyal consumers worldwide, and continues to lead in modern technological helmet advancements.
