Quality Rainsuit.

Tour Master Defender rain suit is of high quality. I ordered according to their size chart and rain suit will fit over cool weather riding clothes but could have been next size larger. Only con is that legs have no heat resistant material so be careful around exhaust.

The fit is good and it appears to be of good quality. I haven't had a chance to try it out, since the only storms we've been getting lately, are snow storms with sub zero temperatures. Going by Tour Master's reputation,I am confident that it will keep me dry.

High and Dry

Began wearing this as a wind block in mid 20 temps on my ride to Florida last week. But of course it served it's original purpose well when I found rain. No leaks. Fit was great.

I've had this set through summer, fall and now in winter. Two words : bone dry. Fits well even over my jacket. It blocks the wind and rain. I haven't had any leaks anywhere and have used it in light to heavy rains. It rolls up to fit in a small bag so I keep it on my bike at all times so I never have to get stuck under a bridge. Highly recommend this suit, no complaints at all.

I'm 5'11", weigh 202 lbs, 42" waist, 30" inseam and the XL fits over my jeans and a T-Shirt with a little room to Spare. The pants leg length is just right to cover boots down to top of shoes. Great Tour Master quality as usual!

Glad I got it ! Tourmaster Defender Rainsuit Review

by - verified purchaser
We received our gear on a Monday and started our trip on Tuesday morning. We ran into rain that after noon in Denver and it didn't stop till we arrived home on Wednesday evening. The gear looks good and kept us completely dry. Light weight but still held up well in the 80mph highway wind. We even used it for the outdoor concert at Red Rocks and it kept us completely dry. Glad we made the purchase!

Bought these for my wife and I before going on a 2 week trip to the Appalachian Mtns. They functioned well and kept us dry. These are sized to fit over street clothes. If you want them to fit over your leathers order the next bigger size. My one complaint is the suspenders are not removable. I cut them off as I didn't need them.

Tourmaster 2-piece is the best choice

by - verified purchaser
I'm now living in Ireland (LOTS of rain) and have just recieved my second suit. I liked the first one so much, I came back! Comfortable, good fit, not too hot. I really don't like 1-piece suits and would recommend the Tourmaster 2-piece to anyone willing to listen.

Tourmaster does it again

by - verified purchaser
Always have liked the Tourmaster brand and this rain suit did not let me down. My old suit would ride up my leg exposing my pant leg. If it rained hard water would run in my boot. The stirrups on these fixed that problem. The suit is comfortable and keeps me dry. I haven't used the hood yet and may never have to with my full face. I got the high vis yellow so others will see me in the rain. Fast shipping and another great experience shopping at Jafrum.

Tourmaster Defender Rain Gear

by - verified purchaser
This is a good rain suit overall. I've been in 3 rain storms without any major leaks. I would like more slack in the crotch area, for mounting and dismounting my bike; and the heavy material you use on the seat of the pants should be on the front of the shins, because the wind pushes the rain through on long rides. then you would have 5 star rain gear.

The product was shipped timely and arrived as advertised. Fit well according to chart l ordered one size up. I am 6'1' 210 lbs and I ordered the XL and it fit very well. It had all of the necessary add-ons although I would have liked a heat guard on at least the right leg.Packed tight right in the bag provided and although I have not used it yet, I am sure it will do a great job judging by the quality I observed.

Tour Master Defender Two-Piece Rainsuit Review

I ordered a size bigger than the chart suggested to give more room if I was wearing a coat or sweatshirt underneath. It is well made and works great. I got the yellow suit, my buddy said he can see me coming a mile away. What more could one ask?

for the rain gear measurements are we supposed to measure over the gear we intend to wear with it?
Teresa W on Dec 5, 2014
Best Answer:With this rain suit I would order a size up to go over your gear.

Is there a heat on the pant legs ? Or has anybody had any problems with the melting on their pipes ?
A shopper on Feb 1, 2015
Best Answer:I would have to answer it this way: NO! But then again if a person puts their leg against a hot pipe, they deserve to get the pants melted, besides if it is raining the pants legs should be wet and that should help to prevent harming the pants. But, then agin there are those that could mess up an anvil with a rubber mallet!

Best Answer:Depends on how heavy of clothes you have underneath. I got this for my husband who is 6'2 and 230 - I ordered him an XL and fits perfect

My husband is 6' 5" - wears a 34" length pant and usually an XL shirt. What would be the best size to get for him in this?
Alice S on Nov 28, 2014
Best Answer:If in question, go to a Bike shop in your area that has the same product and look at the gear there, before you buy on line. Then items will fit and you won't have to be shipped back at a your cost. It may seem a little unfair to the bike shop, but you can also check prices and see that you are getting a great deal buying from Jafrum! I comparison shop all the time and Jafrum usually can't be beat!

Is there material for seat of pants or??
Alice S on Nov 28, 2014
Best Answer:Of course there is material for the seat of the pants. if not, there would be holes in the pants and water would get in!

If you are asking if the seat of the pants area is reinforced, the answer is in the rain gear’s pants section description: “Pants feature a high-density nylon seat panel to minimize slipping and add strength.”

I haven't had to use the suit yet, but it is well made and should do the job of rain protection and it could also be used if the weather turns cool and you need a little bit of wind breaker or a little extra warmth, because it does not take up much room in the panniers or saddle bags!

Do pants have leg zippers?
Arthur D on Oct 29, 2014
Best Answer:There is a zipper from the bottom of the pant up to mid-shin or a little higher on the leg. There is velcro closure in addition the bottom of the pant cuff.
