I recently bought these pants and very pleased, only problem I have is that the zipper attachment for the coat doesn't match my coat but hey I'll take that if thats the only set back and so far it is. Nice quick delivery.
I used these pants for 9 days in the last week of September, going through the Colorado Rockys and in the Utah Canyons, It was 35 ' in the morning and 75' - 80' in the afternoon. They are easy to put on and have good pockets. I got a large and they fit just right in the waist and length and I was wearing pants underneath . I am 5'-6" weigh 170lb and have 34" waist, 30' inseam I have no windshield so I get the full affects of the wind and rain. It rained on and off but not very hard so I can not say how waterproof they are. But they kept me warm and dry in what rain and snow I went through. They are very durable, I was climbing In some rocks and they did not rip. In the afternoons I had to take them off because they were to hot. I give the Overpants 5 stars.
Order arrived today thank you very much, a day ahead of schedule. Very impressed with the pants and the excellent service. Perfect fit.
I purchased these pants several weeks ago in anticipation of the cooler weather that was ahead and so far I have been very pleased. Temperatures in my area of the country have been in the 30s the last two days. Riding in those temperatures, with the Tourmaster Overpants, has been quite pleasant. Although they are not insulated, they are heavy enough to keep the wind from my legs. I would definitely recommend these pants to anyone looking for an affordable pair of riding pants for cold/cool weather.
Pants fit great and well made. The service was excellent!
Bought these for colder temperatures and they really fit the bill! Sizes are true (worn over street clothes) and very high quality. Comfort is good; better than I expected. Highly recommended; made me want Tourmaster jacket and gloves too!
Haven't ridden in rain yet. These seem well made and fit well. They fit snug around my boots, so I don't expect them to let rain to blow up onto my jeans like the crappy Joe Rocket overpants did (Zipper on leg broke way before the J.R. pants were worn out). The tourmasters are warm and easy to put on and off without taking off the boots first. I'm 5'9", 195lbs with a 31 inseam. I bought the LG 34-36, and they fit fine over jeans and long underwear. What color underwear? If you care, I probably don't want to know you.
These pants are a gift for my Son because I have a pair that are great for weather temps. in the 40s -50s- &60s. Water proof and warm. Good construction. I am 5'9" 185 and wear a LG could be 1" longer inseam for me.
I bought these pants for daily commuting since I prefer to ride ATGATT. They are great in the cold and have been pretty good in the rain. I've worn them for about 7K miles now and the last rain I was in, they did let some wet through. But, it was a downpour. However, for my daily commute, they are great. They fit comfortably over my office clothes and they zip with both of my jackets. My only complaint is that they are pretty hot when the weather goes above 90 degrees. But, I don't really expect them to be cool at that temp. They do have two zip vents, but they don't really vent well. They are at the top of my thigh and when I sit down, they are more-or-less behind my gas tank, out of the wind. Bottom line... These are great pants and they've held up really well for the last seven months of daily commuting.
Tourmaster great quality as I expected you cannot go wrong with Tourmaster products. Only thing that would be a improvement would be to sell me heavy dutySuspenders made to work with the overpants
I'm 72 yrs young and still riddin, 5'11" with a 42" waist and 31" inseam. The 3Xl T pants fit a little loose over jeans, but have room to move! The T length makes them a little long for walking; but great when my legs are bent and I'm sitting on the bike. The bottom of the cuff hits just at the top of the foot on the boot. I probably could use a size down, but figure a little loose is better than too tight and hard to get into. The full length zippered legs make them very easy to get into. The zippered pockets have room for wallet and cell phone and other stuff., like nose wipe Kleenex and whatever else you may need to get to in a hurry, like Toll booth change. I haven't worn the pants on a trip yet, because the weather in Phoenix doesn't warrant wearing them yet. When the weather gets cold at night in Phoenix or when we go to the mountains or to Oregon; they will be put to use! The fit is great for my use and the quality is Tourmaster, which is always great.
The Tour Master over pants arrived just days after I ordered, very quick shipping. I wore them on our four day trip thru the Ozarks on my '07 Road King. 30ies in the mornings, 60ies for highs later in the day with some rain on two days. The pants are great, I wasn't cold or wet. (I was wearing long johns and jeans) I got a size larger then my jean size and the Tour Masters were a little big in the waist but not really a problem just used the Velcro straps to tighten up the waist band. On and off is easy even with heavy boots. Pants are well worth the money.
Easy to put on/off over my steal-toe boots. They could be an inch or two longer, ankles get a little wet when it rains They do help keep my legs warm. Accordion-style expansion panels above the knee make it easy to walk and get on and off my bike. Shipping was fast. I would recommend.
These TourMaster Overpant overpants are an excellent choice for the tourer or commuter looking for a simple, cost conscious pair of pants to keep you protected and dry. Some riding pants have gotten so complex in their construction that their weight and sophistication have made them exhausting to wear. These pants are free of tedious zippered exterior panels and layers of removable liners. These pants are a shell, some armor, and a fixed liner, and that’s about it. This is one of my favorite pairs of pants for commuting as a result. Also, these pants are cut and designed to fit over your regular clothing, so all you have to do is shed your riding gear at your destination, rather than completely changing your clothes.
The Overpant overpants are made of a durable 600 Denier polyester based material called Carbolex, with an extra heavy duty 1680 Denier ballistic polyester in the knees for added abrasion resistance. The cut is pretty standard for an overpant. The extra room needed to accommodate your other clothing has already been accounted for, so no measurement adjustments are needed. You take your actual waist measurement and refer to the size chart. These pants are available in men’s regular, tall and short sizes small to four x, and ladies sizes extra small to extra-large.
Let’s look at some of the features. Again, the name of the game with these overpants is ease of use. If you unfasten the full length water resistant hook and loop zipper cover, you can see the leg zippers. The waterproof YKK leg zipper closures are two way, so they zip up from the bottom for easy on and off, and down from the top, for added airflow. Inside the pant leg, you can see the fixed waterproof yet breathable Rainguard Liner. The fly closure has a snap down cover flap with a nylon zipper. If you open it up, you can see the water proof gaiter to keep the water out. Also here at the waist, are hook and loop adjusters that cover elastic panels for a precise fit. There is more adjustability at the cuffs of the legs allowing you to manipulate the airflow through the pants. Also, for increased airflow, are vents with waterproof zippers here on the thighs.
Protection comes in the way of removable and adjustable CE approved armor in the knees. There are also foam pads in the hips and reflective piping down the legs to increase your visibility in low light situations.
There isn’t a ton of storage in these pants, with just the two hand warmer pockets, but again, that’s not what these pants are for. Their simplicity is what keeps them light and easy to wear. They do have some nice comfort features though, with accordion style flex panels in the knees, and another on the lower back.
Again, these TourMaster Overpant overpants are an excellent choice for the tourer or commuter looking for a lightweight, comfortable, and waterproof motorcycle riding pant.
