Vega XTS Naked Matte Helmet

Comment: Lightweight, cool, comfortable, minimal 'shroom head look, you forget you have it on after awhile. My only complaint would be that the chin strap needs to be angled a little more towards the front. If I'm not wearing my full face helmet then this one will be on my head.

Comment: Love the helmet. It does fit a little bit larger than most other brands. So be sure to measure before you buy.

This is a comfortable, inexpensive, solid matte black helmet. No frills.

Comment: I normaly wear a large but the medium was a perfect fit. Looks great and has a low profile. No tugging at hiway speeds. Tried the skid lid(it sucks) and returned it with no problem.

Comment: This helmet is awesome! It's DOT approved, and the smallest half helmet I have found anywhere, and I have really looked. The price here at Jafrum is an excellent value. $20 less than my local shop. The sizes run a bit big, I wear a XL in most helmets and the Medium Vega fits me perfect, so check the size chart before you order. This helmet looks so good in flat black, and doesn't make me look like an idiot mushroom head like the other half helmets do. I am so happy with Jafrum I'll be back for lots more things soon. Comment: Perfect fit for oval head shapes/narrow faces. Sits low, no mushroom. Lightweight and very comfortable. Just spent 3 days and 900 km on a ride in the Golden Triangle (Thailand, Laos, Myanmar) and under the weather conditions here the Wick-Dri interior works very well and much better than the Coolmax liner I have in another helmet.

Comment: Nice fitting helmet. Sits down on your head instead of up on top of it like many other half helmets.

Comment: I love this helmet, low profile and still provides enough coushion. Doesn't catch wind when riding either. The strap does ride a little too far back on my chin but that's manageable!

Comment: Ordered this helmet hoping it would be a good half helmet with minimum shroom head look, and its exactly what I wanted. Its light, and fits great. My measurements were at the maximum for the medium and it fits perfectly. Like other reviewers have stated, this helmet is more suited to a narrow, long head instead of a round one.

Comment: Very little wind drag which is really only noticed at 75mph++ real comfortable and sits lower than most. I like it alot more than my $150.00 harley helmet.

Comment: Bought a Vega XTS Naked helmet after reading reviews, not as small as my novelty helmet but alot smaller then most, ordered a size smaller and fits perfect, unfortunately the downside of purchasing this helmet thru Jafrum is that they have spoiled me, I don't think I will ever buy any product they carry from someone else again.

Comment: Pretty good helmet. Not as much of a mushroom head as a lot of other brands (like outlaw) and very comfortable. A little bit of the parasail effect at high speeds but that probly has more to do with the fit. Would recommend getting a quick release though.

Comment: I think Vega makes the best helmets, they fit my head best, well built, soft inside helmet, light weight. You need to put one of though soft collars on the strap ( Vega helmets are oval shaped).

Comment: I've tried and returned almost every half helmet in this category until I got this one. Don't bother with Skid Lids, HJC or anything else if you're looking for a lightweight DOT helmet without looking like the Great Gazoo. Be careful on the sizing, however. My XL head fit perfect into a size M. Great matte finish and fast shipping!

Comment: This is an awesome helmet! The naked fits as close to a novelty fit as you're gonna get. The snap on the strap keeps the end from flappig around and the interior provides a comfy yet snug fit. It is true to size and Jafrum gets it to you in a jiffy. I have a very narrow head and Vega does a good job of eliminating the 'mushroom' look. I also have a touring style half helmet with ventilation adjustment and removal visor which I also like. Vega is the helmet for me!!

Comment: I have 2 half helmets, this one and a skid lid shorty and i like this one better. it sits low on my head so hardly any mushroom effect. the size chart is right on and i like the snap button to secure the strap.

Comment: This helmet is OK but the Outlaw Carbon Fiber fits me better, looks better in my opinion and also fits in my saddlebag which is a big plus.

Comment: I have tried a lot of 1/2 helmets which claim to not give you that "mushroom" head look. So far, mushroom head after mushroom head . until this one! Definitely sits lower on the head, and for the first time I actually look bad-a** with a 1/2 helmet on. My measurements are 57-58cm, and went w/ the medium as indicated. A little tight at first, on the sides, but feels better every time I put it on.

Comment: I am ordering my 2nd Vega XTS. I crashed my bike going 60mph with my 1st one on and had no serious injuries after having head slammed into pavement. I liked the way it sits low on my head and doesn't look nearly as big as most D.O.T. helmets

Comment: This is a great helmet. I had been on the hunt for a helmet that did not look silly on my head and this one fits the bill. It's sizes are true to the chart, and at that price what else could you ask for.
