Boots are really great and a bargain - double zippers make getting them on and off a breeze and velcro-type adjustments at top of uppers accommodate different leg sizes and make tucking in pants legs easy. Soft leather uppers and soft foot beds make walking in them comfortable. I ordered a size up because of wide feet and the upsized boots fit like a glove. Boots appear to be cut slightly small, so suggest getting next size up. Haven't tested water resistance yet - will spray with water-resistant silicone. Boots appear to be held together with some sort of adhesive rather than sewn, possibly for water resistance, so I don't know about durability. So far I highly recommend them - also great service from Jafrum.

Comment: They only come in whole sizes and they run a bit small - so order UP if in doubt. The removable insoles are worthless - throw them away and replace them with an aftermarket brand of your choice.

Comment: I have got far more from these boots than what I paid for. I have over 7000 miles on my Vega's and the velcro is still in great shape, the zippers work smoothly and the boots remain water and wind reistant. The soles are wearing nicely as well. I'd recommend these boots to anyone. I'll buy another pair when the time comes.

Comment: I road with these boots for a summer. They look good, are comfortable. If I could change them, I would put a heavier rubber sole on them. maybe lower the height of the boot so my socks don't slide down in them.

Comment: Fell off my bike at 50 MPH and there was only minor scuffing on the places where these boots touched the road. With a little black polish the scuffs are hard to see. That's a good boot!!Only suggestion? Order at least one size up from your usual size. I can comfortably wear a size 9 in any shoe or boot I've ever bought, but I've found a size 10 with these Vegas a tad tight.

Comment: Great buy. Was wearing the short boot but switched to these for more shin protection. Easy on, easy off.

Comment: I found that they tend to run a size small. I wear a 10 wide, bought an 11. The fit is a bit snug, but a heavy pair of sox and some walking time stretched them to a good fit. The soles are soft rubber, good traction, don't drag your feet. Haven't had them in the rain yet, suspect the zippers will leak. Decent value for the money.

Comment: Great boots for the price. I have had them over 2 years, worn almost daily (30,000+ miles.) Comfortable and easy to adjust. They were pretty tightfor a while until they stretched to fir my foot. Sizing suggestions mentioned above apply, though they will stretch. Eventually one of the soles started to come loose, but a dollop of shoe goo put it back together and I continue to use them daily. I ride daily, no matter the weather, so if it rains they get wet. Most of the time they were dry again by the next morning. They seem to be holding up to the abuse, and keep getting more comfortable! Well worth the money.

Comment: I have purchased several pairs of riding boots over the years howver these are my first pair without lug soles and I have to say what a difference these boots make during the time I am OFF the bike . We ride to alot of the bike fest and it would always be a challenge to take in the sights before my feet hurt or before the boots felt like astronaut boots , these are light weight and rugged enough to enjoy both on and off the bike .

Comment: I have not been able to use the new Vega Boot. Weather/Roads just not the best for my riding. That being said, The Vega Boots seem to be nicley made. Good shin protection. Material is very nice and seems to be durable. After read countless reviews on this boot, the consensus was that the boot ran between a half size to a full size smaller then your normal shoe size. Well, not think so.. I decided to go a Half size up. Slightly to big.. No big deal. I'll just wear an extra sock. My wife was looking at the new boot and she really liked them too. To finisnh, a nice Boot, worth the price..

Comment: I am on my second pair. They are very comfortable for all day rides. Very soft soles make for comfortable walking. Water and wind proof-they keep my littler piggies nice and warm. The double zippers make getting in and out these boots a breeze.

Comment: SO far we have purchased 3 pair of these boots (for Me, my wife and my son). I had a pair of the BMW allarounds and honestly fail to see the 200 dollar difference. They are very comfortable. They do run small. What an incredible bargain!!

Comment: I recently bought a pair of these boots because I needed a waterproof pair of boots. A few days ago I put them to the test. Yes, they are waterproof and in rain that stung your face. I took the advice of someone on this page and bought a size bigger. They were correct in advising this. I think the sole is a little soft for every day walking so I only use them for riding.

Comment: I ride 30+ miles one way to work. These boots have now replaced my regular combat boots for riding. The shaft is taller and getting in and out is a piece of cake with the double zippers. I like the taller shaft because it helps keep wind and the possible water. I have ridden in the rain and I got a little moisture on my sock, but I believe it was from the rain pants riding up. Other than that, it is a great boot and very comfortable. Awesome boot and I would highly recommend.

Comment: Bought a pair just before taking off on an NC to CA and back run last Spring. On the way back I managed to get my left foot wedged between wheel of the trike and the roadbed. The Vega boot "gave" buit still supported my foot and ankle. Ended up with only a slight fracture on the left side of the foot and a sprained big toe. I truly believe that had I been wearing my traditional leather M/C boots there would have been NO GIVE and I would have ended up with a busted ankle. I now wear the Vegas all the time and the leather boots are in the back of the closet.

Comment: Bought the boots ahead of the riding season so not a lot of wear time just yet but they seem well made. The double zipper certainly makes putting them on easier than most. They do fit on the small side so if you wear a half size order up to nearest whole size.

Comment: As to all the other comments about size they were spot on, order a size larger then you usually take. The fit is good and construction looks good too. I have only used them once so far but it was a very cold morning and my feet were very comfortable.

Comment: I got caught in a downpour of a storm on Tuesday, & it was unexpected. I did not have my rainsuit but I was wearing my vegas boots. Suffice to say that The ONLY part of me to stay dry was my feet. Socks did not even get damp after riding 15 miles in the downpour. I Highly recommend them and Jafrum. I am a repeat buyer and will be for years to come.

Comment: I own a pair of these boots and went down last weekend wearing them. The bike fell onto my foot as it slid on the asphalt. Though these are not the best armored boots out there, I am fairly confident they saved my foot from sure injury. After the fall, dusted off and the boots were still great. I am going to have to replace a few pieces of gear due to the fall but luckey the boots are not one of them. Very durable, I would recommend them.

Comment: Excellent boots for the $. The size 13 fit nicely (usualy take a 12), so appreciated the tip about ordering a size up. Great boot to walk in also. Only downside that I could find was the boot was a bit thick on top of the toe area which makes shifting gears a tight fit, but I'll give that up up any day for the added protection.

Comment: Extremely great riding boots. I recently dropped my Goldwing and my foot was pinned under the bike. If it wasn't for the construction of this boot my foot would have been broken. Kudos for those who make this boot.

Comment: Fair price, looked good, but I got hit on my Goldwing by a car before they were delievered so I didn't get a chance to wear them. Before returning them I tried them on and they felt good. I ordered 1 size bigger than I normally wear.
