Helmet Sizing Information.
To achieve proper helmet fitment, begin by finding your head circumference size using the method described below.
Remember that the helmet sizing you choose should fit around the crown of your head comfortably with no pressure points.
The cheekpads should fit firmly around your face. Once your chin strap is fastened, grab the chin bar of the helmet and move it side to side.
Your cheeks should move with the helmet, which should not slide across your face. Different thickness cheekpads can be purchased to obtain the perfect fit.
Head Measurement Instructions.
Wrap flexible tape measure around your head approximately on inch above eyebrows and ears.
Use this measurement (in either inches or centimeters) to find your helmet size in the chart below.
Comment: I wasnt sure about choosing a helmet as this being my first helmet bought but I have to say for the price of this helmet it is exceptionally nice. The quality is good and it has a nice fit.
Vega X888 Helmet
Comment: Light weight helmet 1450g for the size small. Wish the liner was removable. I just got the helmet, so I can't say how it feels to ride in. Overall a good helmet for the money. Good fit. I would say it's for a more round head.
Vega X888 Helmet Review
Comment: I love this helmet. It feels great having it on in the living room. Apparently, Jaffrum doesn't take logistics into account when it offers a chance to win $100. I'll let you know in May when I can actually where the helmet outside, on the bike, in Minnesota!
Comment: This is definitely a very good helmet for the price, which can't be beat. It's surprisingly lightweight which is actually a plus because it's very comfortable while wearing. It has a nice snug fit without being suffocating. My only critique is that I cannot wear my prescription glasses with this helmet because it pushes at my temples and the bridge of my nose making uncomfortable to have glasses on. But my spouse wears contacts and therefore thinks the helmet is excellent. Apparently now it's hers, and I'll have to get a different one for myself. Lol.
