Vega V-Tune Orbit Bluetooth Helmet

Comment: I love this helmet. The bluetooth works great with my iPhone. You can be playing music and a phone call come through and you can talk just like normal. I would highly recommend this to any body that would want to buy.

Comment: Very happy with the helmet, it is a nice fit and the bluetooth works great with my phone and mp3 player. Have not had the chance to try out the bike to bike communications. But hope it works as great as the rest of the helmet.

Comment: Awesum!! Heack of a deal!! Saw this helmet 2 other sites for $200 +. What a steal! Works, fits excellent. Speakers good quality sound. Didnt even hav to enter code paired by itself took 10 seconds to work. Ordering anothr one today!!

Comment: Everything seems pretty nice on this. synced easily and call quality was as good as can be expected for bluetooth. Music lacks bass as others have said. I plan to solder in some higher quality speakers from a set of headphones. nice helmet all in all!

Comment: Love the helmet. Only down side was I had to swap out the speaker for louder ones.

Comment: Sizing isn't great for me as the L is a little loose and I couldn't even fit in the M. Sold the M to a good friend. Sound quality is okay at best, considering a swap-out of the speakers as someone suggested previously. Phone calls and music are only good at low speeds w/ sheild down.

Comment: I love everything about this helmet it looks cool its comfortable and the inner sun visor it great. The bluetooth works very well with my iPhone 4S I can play music, Pandora, or use my turn by turn GPS with no problems. I only wish that the speakers were a bit better sound out them.

Comment: My order shipped in a reasonable time but had to be retuned for size issues. The Jafrum staff was great and helped us quickly. The Vega helmets we purchased have a somewhat short range but for the money they are a quality product! Thanks Jafrum!!!

Comment: Very nice helmets-had some minor issues with the blue-tooth system, but the company has been very good at working thru the issues and offering help and/or replacement.

Comment: This is a cool looking helmet and the drop down sunshield just what i was looking for in pink. The shade could be a lot darker, especially in bright sun. The Microphone for the Bluetooth was defective (Jafrum confirmed is a problem). They are sending a "microphone kit" so its yet TBD if it works. Also, I had to almost take the whole insides out to find the plug-in to chg the bluetooth. Overall fit is "OK". Not near as quiet as my FlyRacing helmet but ear plugs r needed with any helmet i guess.

Comment: After reading reviews on multiple websites about this helmet I was reluctant to buy. Figured that I would give it a try and see what is was like for myself. First off this helmet does come with a double D strap system which is a big plus. Connected with my Motorola Electrify with no problems. With the volume control on the helmet and the volume control on my phone speakers are very loud, although not the best quality with this helmet on and turned all the way up I can't hear anything else but the music or the person talking. The built in sun visor is awesome and very nice on sunny days. Very little, if any distortion from both visors being down. Helmet is average comfort, very nice for the money, and the fit is just a little tight. I would not recommend getting a size bigger unless your other helmets already are tight at the size you wear. With the price and built in blue tooth, this helmet is most definitely worth the buy. I would not hesitate to purchase another one if needed.

Comment: I was in the market for a new helmet and wanted one with bluetooth for my ipod. I searched local shops and online and stumbled upon the vega v-tune. I agree with the other commets of getting a size smaller than you normally wear, mine fits perfect. My only complaint about the helmet is the speakers. They are not of very good quality. After doing a couple test runs I noticed they work fine for low speed runs, but anything over 35 and its difficult to hear. They are also very mid and high range. To resolve the issue I simply ordered a pair of Tork X2 Helmet Speakers and installed them (had to get an adapter, as the bluetooth unit has a 2.5mm jack, rather than the standard 3.5mm) and they work great, even at 70mph. But overall I love the helmet, the dropdown sun visor is awesome. If your looking for a quality helmet with multifunctional capable bluetooth then dont hesitate.

Comment: Works awesome. We talk to each other while riding. I listen to music on long drives. I use it for GPS, for phone calls. Sometimes hard to hear calls at 75 or faster then you have to tell them to speak up though i can hear music fine.

Comment: Looks great fits snug. Love the drop down shield. Paired easily with my phone, but speakers aren't loud enough to hear on my CBR954 at any speed,. Vents don't flow enough air, so IT'S HOT !!!

Comment: this is great helmet for any money, especially for the price. The bluetooth works great; it is awesome to listen to music or get a phone call without all the wires. The graphics are awesome. I actually bought one first and then bought a second one because i liked it so much.

Comment: Very good helmet. Bluetooth works good too. I dont reccamend trying to "Jam" music, the speakers aren't made for it (but we shouldn't be blasting tunes while riding anyway). The speakers work just fine for conversation.

Comment: Great helmet - well made - As for the speakers, once you're over 30 mph or so, the music is tinny, shallow - not worth trying to hear. And if you turn the volume up, it's just ear-damaging noise - no bass. But at low speeds with little wind noise to interfere, it's really enjoyable to have music and phone calls available.

Comment: Bluetooth battery lasted 8 hours on one charge on my first ride. Helmet is quieter than my other Vega helmet, less wind noise. 2 minor complaints: The dropdown visor feels cheap-ish. It is easy to put up, but tough to put down, and makes a loud plastic on plastic sound when it finally drops. Wish they had put a small piece of foam in there to deaden the drop. I feel like I'm going to break it every time I use it. (That said, I LOVE the drop down shade!!) Other minor problem: The vents are tiny, and while you're wearing gloves, almost impossible to know if you have them open or not. But overall, this is the best helmet I have ever owned.

Comment: I waited to use it for a month or so before writing helmet looks good, sounds good, and price was great!!! Overall great product and it might get hard to hear when you get up around 70 mph but we are on a motorcycle !!

Comment: This is a great helmet for the price. I've paid $100 for a bluetooth headset that I can hear just as well as this helmet but nobody can hear me. With this helmet people on the other line can hear me. Even going 70 mph with the visor cracked open. Don't expect any base from the speakers. This is not an audiophile's helmet. Very "tinny" sound. But it is nice to have music playing off my phone while I ride. When on a phone call the caller's voice is sometimes distorted and muffled but I can still make out what they're saying. Battery life is excellent. I charged it the day I got it then didn't have to recharge it for 3 weeks. I work 5 days a week riding about 45 minutes each way listening to music the whole time and didn't have to recharge the battery for 3 weeks. Very impressive. All in all. You can't find a better helmet for the same price. You definitely can't find a better helmet with bluetooth for anywhere near the same price. You'd be looking at something twice the price at least. I have recommended this helmet to all my friends that ride.

Comment: I love this helmet so much I'm buying a second one. The size chart is very accurate, the bluetooth was easy to use and came with instructions. Doesn't take long to charge and last for hours even with constant use. The speaker is loud enough to hear. I have sensitivity to sunlight but with the sun visor down it's dark enough that I don't need a pair of sunglasses. I dropped the helmet onto jagged rocks while walking and all it did was scratch the front visor a little and barely scratached the outside of the helmet. It's such a great buy.
