I recently bought a pair of these boots because I needed a waterproof pair of boots. A few days ago I put them to the test. Yes, they are waterproof and in rain that stung your face. I took the advice of someone on this page and bought a size bigger. They were correct in advising this. I think the sole is a little soft for every day walking so I only use them for riding.

Vega Touring Boots Sizing
Measuring Instructions :
- Use a ruler or tape measurer to measure your foot ( from the heel to the tip of your longest toe).
- Find the closest measurement, in inches, that is equal to or greater than the length of your foot.
Ensure Accuracy :
- To ensure an accurate reading when measuring, flatten your foot by shifting your weight forward.
- If your measurement is between two sizes, always move up to the larger size.
- Be sure to measure both feet. Fit to the larger of the two.

The boots arrived fairly quickly. The product was shipped in two boxes, the product box, and the shipping box. The boots are comfortable, sized the same as my regular shoes, and seem to be well made. The boots seem to reduce some of the peg vibration I had been experiencing. Haven't had the opportunity to ride in the wet as of this writing but the liner covers the entire foot, so hopefully, they will keep my feet dry. All in all for the price, if they are available when I need another set, I would purchase them again.
This is the second pair that I have bought. The boot lasted about a year and a half of riding before the soles wear through. I wear a 9.5 and the size 10 boot fits fine. The boot stayed waterproof through its life and is pretty comfortable for walking. No hard protection in the boot, but it is tall enough to stay hidden under jeans and you have abrasion protection.
This is a great boot and very affordable price. As always delivery was right on time.
Boot is good construction and durable. Bit narrow, and will take a couple weeks to break in... But GEEZ, took forever to get the boots.
I bought two pairs of these boots a few weeks ago and they are very comfortable and easy to get on and off. I'll be back again for more gear!
This is my second pair and the 1st pair lasted 4 years. They are very comfortable to walk in (not as good as tennis shoes) and very reasonably priced. Good in the rain and I really like the back, which is velcro and allows room for my heavy calfs. 5 stars...
This is the third time I have bought these boots. I ride a sport tour and I am a little hard on my equipment. Have about 4-5 hundred K on my bikes and like these boots you can buy 2-3 hundred dollar boots but not me I am happy with these.
Ordered for my son. Great fit and they're comfortable. Happy with these boots.
They were great price and fast shipping however the boot runs narrow I wear a 8.5 so I ordered 9 but still tight I now wear a thin pair of socks maybe after there broke in they will fit rite but a great riding boot for road riding.
Great boot for the price. Sizing runs a little small, good idea to order up. Waterproof, great double zip entry, I am very happy with the product
Fair price, looked good, but I got hit on my Goldwing by a car before they were delievered so I didn't get a chance to wear them. Before returning them I tried them on and they felt good. I ordered 1 size bigger than I normally wear.
Extremely great riding boots. I recently dropped my Goldwing and my foot was pinned under the bike. If it wasn't for the construction of this boot my foot would have been broken. Kudos for those who make this boot.
Excellent boots for the $$. The size 13 fit nicely (usualy take a 12), so appreciated the tip about ordering a size up. Great boot to walk in also. Only downside that I could find was the boot was a bit thick on top of the toe area which makes shifting gears a tight fit, but I'll give that up up any day for the added protection.
I own a pair of these boots and went down last weekend wearing them. The bike fell onto my foot as it slid on the asphalt. Though these are not the best armored boots out there, I am fairly confident they saved my foot from sure injury. After the fall, dusted off and the boots were still great. I am going to have to replace a few pieces of gear due to the fall but luckey the boots are not one of them. Very durable, I would recommend them.
Easy to wear and lightweight make it a plus in my book.
I got caught in a downpour of a storm on Tuesday, & it was unexpected. I did not have my rainsuit but I was wearing my vegas boots. Suffice to say that The ONLY part of me to stay dry was my feet. Socks did not even get damp after riding 15 miles in the downpour. I Highly recommend them and Jafrum. I am a repeat buyer and will be for years to come.
As to all the other comments about size they were spot on, order a size larger then you usually take. The fit is good and construction looks good too. I have only used them once so far but it was a very cold morning and my feet were very comfortable.
Very comfortable riding and walking. Would have cost $120 for comparable boots at local power sports dealer.
