Love...love these bags...haven't installed them yet on the bike...do have to drill another hole and put grommet as they do not fit the width of my fender screws...but think they will work fine...will look great on my 2003 Indian Spirit!!!

Motorcycle Saddlebags Sizing Instructions
Measure distance horizontally from the edge of the rear turn signal to where the passenger would be aligned on the seat. Next, measure the distance vertically from the exhaust pipe to approximately two inches below the top of the rear fender. *Please remember to allow at least one inch clearance between the bottom of the saddlebag and the exhaust pipe. This will prevent the saddlebag from being damaged by touching the exhaust pipe.
Throw Over Mounting Instructions
Generally, to install throw-over saddlebags to your bike, you would need to remove the passenger seat. You would then ensure that the hook and loop connectors are firmly pressed together and secure bonding the two bags. To ensure additional stability, use the strap at the top of one saddlebag and thread through the double d-ring on the other saddlebag. Place the saddlebags on the top of your bike and adjust to how you want the bags to sit. After this is complete, re-install your passenger seat back on the bike. There are additional straps on the bottom of the saddlebags for added security and stability as well.
Hard Mounting Instructions
Visually align saddlebags to your bike (you make need a second pair of hands) to give a general idea of where bags should be placed. Attach your barrel bolts and washers to the bags and attach saddlebags to your bike with the fender bolts.

The installation was pretty straight forward. I had to drill one hole in each bag to make them fit. They are sturdy and look really good. I've gotten a number of compliments on them. The only thing I wasn't real happy about is the lock tabs. They are really cheap plastic and won't keep anyone out of the bag even with a lock. Other than that, I am very pleased with these bags.
I got the medium size saddlebags with side pocket. Bags look good, affordable prize, different mounting option always good, definitely enough room for your riding gear ( jacket, chaps, gloves, extra clothing and more). Material could've been a little bit better quality the " hard construction to keep their shape" it's not that great. **** overall: for the price they seem like good bags.
I had been waiting to purchase a set of saddlebags for my VTX 1300c since last fall. Every time I checked the message stated "not available". After months of waiting I started trying to reach the place by phone and to leave messages. I wanted to know what was going on with the delay.
Finally spring arrived in Northern Michigan. I gave up on the "other place" and dealt with Jafrum. I am always pleased with the value, quality and friendly service at Jafrum.
Regarding the new bags, I hard mounted them with a minimum of effort. They look great on my bike. I feel when you are purchasing an item like this you need to expect to make some adjustments for your particulars bike. Thanks Jafrum!
while the bags fit well with tail light locations on Sportsters the only issue i have is the bags are not identical to those in video the external pouches are Velcro/ hook and loop closures not zippers like in the video. but over all seam to be nice bags!
They look great. I ended up having to use the throw over strap because the holes for bolt on did not match may VTX 1800. But they are working wonderfully!
I installed these bags on my Mean Streak without too much difficulty. Looked good on my scoot, but the plastic closures break very easily. I use these bags on my daily ride. The velcro on the lids also are strong, but the lid will eventually curl up on each end. No negatives on Jafrum though, have been a customer for several years, and will continue to be in future. Jafrum has been great.
Got the bags for my '11 Star Stryker for going on longer rides for extra storage. They follow the lines of the bike nicely. They Very well built multiple mounting options. Hopefully they last as long as good as they look.
I ordered these bags, they arrived the next day (!), and with no modifications to the bags, just a little new hardware (longer bolts and a couple of spacers), they are now looking great on my Spirit. The bags are nice and large enough to travel with, look fantastic, and the cost is unbelievable considering the Honda bags for the Spirit cost five times as much. We put the bags up next to my husband's Honda VTX1300C and they would not have to be modified to mount to his rails either, so we may be ordering a set for him soon. Can't beat them for function, style, and most especially, price.
I put these bags on my 06 shadow spirit vt750dc and they look great. I had too relocate my turn signals, but I was planning on that and a few other mods. These would not bolt on my bike due to the hole spacing on the bag and bike being different, about 3/8 of an inch.
Just installed these in my VTX 1100. Had to cut an extra hole and add two fender washers for rienforcement. Easy install and they look great. Seem to be quite water resistant. You wont find better for the price. Great value.
I hard mounted these on my 2005 Vulcan 500 and they look great! I had to get a little creative with the mount brackets, but it was worth it. They did hit my signal pods, so I used that as an excuse to install some custom rear lights. These bags are solid and close nice and tight. I ride to work daily and there is plenty of room for my stuff.
These bags are very nice bags. The look and fit great on my 97 Honda Shadow ACE 1100. I had to make a slight modification to them because the bolt holes that are provided didn't line up with the bolts on my bike. However it only took me about 5 minutes to get these on. I would deffinitly recommend these to anyone who want a nice clean looking set of bags for a decent price. As always Jafrum, thank you and i look forward to being a future customer.
i ordered the midrange size ...when i got them Wow they looked great. now i own a yamaha 1200 Vmax and the saddle bags and mounting hardwere do not fit at all.. but with a few small mods i will have them on my bike vary soon.. the bags seem solid and well made i am vary happy with them i even plan on mounting extra running and turn lights on the back of them. all in all great looking bags!
I ordered these for my 650 V-Star custom. the holes didn't match with the location on the bike but it was an easy fix to re-drill and grommet. They are bigger than they look and hold tons of stuff. WIll be riding to Sturgis in a week (2013) and they will be handy for al the goodies I want to buy. I don't know why I waited so long to get them!
I ordered these bags a little fearful they may show up looking "chincy" and inexpensive. However, they are really sharp looking, and the edges are finished well. I mounted them directly to my saddlebags side mounts and just stored the "throw over" piece. I ordered the non-studded (plain) version.
The video makes them look HUGE (the guy must be of smaller stature), but I purchase the largest size (Medium) and they are PERFECT sized for my 2007 Honda Shadow Spirit 750C2. They offer lots of room without looking "too big" on the bike. When mounted directly to the saddlebag rails, the end just sits behind the turn signals and the front matches up with the curve of the seat.
They are rigid and hold their shape well... something I don't like about other type bags that seem to sag and look bad when empty.
The ONLY knock I can make are about the side pockets. The "slit" made to gain entry is cut way too small... I cannot get my average sized hands inside. I intend on slitting them further up both ends and sewing a piece of material to block the slit from growing longer. This should allow a person to reach in and actually take stuff out of the pocket.
Also, the video showed the pocket having a zipper, but mine only has velcro... which is fine (better in my opinion).
These bags look like $300 bags... and for $90-$100, they are an absolute great value. Would buy these again in a heartbeat.
By writing in detail about your product you are helping your biker buddies make better choices. Thank you.
WOW! IS WHAT I SAID WHEN I OPENED THE BOX. THE BOX THAT GOT TO MY HOUSE IN THREE DAYS FOR FREE! BAGS GIVE MY FATBOY A REAL NICE LOOK. VERY HAPPY WITH PURCHASE.
Just installed the bags on my Harley Fatboy. Had to make up some brackets to fit the bike, but they now fit like a glove.
These bags are better then the $ 500.00 bags that came with my bike. They are lockable and built to last, I bought other items from here before and will never go any place else. Save your self some time and alot of money and shop here you'll be glad you did. .
