External Pocket Studded Motorcycle Saddlebags Mounting Instructions
Measure distance horizontally from the edge of the rear turn signal to where the passenger would be aligned on the seat. Next, measure the distance vertically from the exhaust pipe to approximately two inches below the top of the rear fender.
*Please remember to allow at least one inch clearance between the bottom of the saddlebag and the exhaust pipe. This will prevent the saddlebag from being damaged by touching the exhaust pipe.
Generally, to install throw-over saddlebags to your bike, you would need to remove the passenger seat. You would then ensure that the hook and loop connectors are firmly pressed together and secure bonding the two bags. To ensure additional stability, use the strap at the top of one saddlebag and thread through the double d-ring on the other saddlebag. Place the saddlebags on the top of your bike and adjust to how you want the bags to sit. After this is complete, re-install your passenger seat back on the bike. There are additional straps on the bottom of the saddlebags for added security and stability as well.

Great price on a great looking set of Cruiser bags. I've only had them on the bike a couple days and have got several compliments, was asked where I got them, with no hesitation I let them know about Jafrum.com. Shipment was fast and easy to track. All in all a very good experience. Thanks, Jafrum. Great job.
These bags look great and feel like they're well built. We'll see how they hold up to the desert sun. My only complaint is that when hard mounted, the zipper flap tends to fold over backward and look like crap. Used some double sided velcro to velcro it to itself, so we'll see how that holds up too. Overall, can't complain.
They are nice and big look great but had a little trouble mounting them on my VZ 800. I would recommend them to others.
The leather saddle bags are great, the last set I purchased from Jafrum lasted 4yrs. These bags are large and roomy as advertised and are of excellent quality. They have brought my cycle back to looking amazing. Always enjoy shopping from Jafrum.
I bought these for my 2007 Suzuki C50T, my factory bags covers shrank and I could no longer close them. the product was close enough to the same size, so they seemed right. I am still trying to get them to fit right, I have the brackets attached ok , but the throw over connectors are being a bit of a concern, they just stick up and don't look right, when bolted on . I may have a solution with a heat gun and heavy duty velcro and secure the lip sandwiched between the bracket and frame. Also the the bags fit better with the pocket in the back. I think that once completed these bags will be just fine. I can't complain about making them fit for the price well worth the extra effort.
I used a leather punch to cinch up the bags to get the right fit. Bought custom saddlebag supports made for the bike which you will need, you can get universal saddlebag supports too. Lots of room in these, well made, look great and you can't beat the value at $99.95. They fit under my passenger seat and I have a sissy bar/luggage rack. Wish I could share a photo in the review.
I really liked hese bags, too bad they are too big for my bike. I just received them and will be sending them back this week. I ride a 1400 Suzuki Intruder and although the bags would sit up against a passengers foot, the top is blocked from opening due to my turning lights. Measure your bike!!
My husband is the one that will be reviewing the bags once he receives them for Christmas. I will say I did open the box up that they came in and was shocked at how big they were and how well built they seemed. I do not ride motorcycles and cannot really give a review on how well they will with the weather but, I will say compared to the ones that he has now and the shape they are in, he will be more than surprised by the quality and size as I was. He also melted his previous bags on the muffler and hoping since these have a shield on them this will prevent that from happening. Once he gets them and is able to install them on the bike and try them out for the first time will be when I can come back and give an update on his thoughts.
I ride a 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 Classic & these bags fit perfect after a little adjustment. Plenty of storage these are not small bags. Great deal for the money!
So far I love these bags. Easy install and great fit.
Agreat Bag at a great price.I wiil be buying more products from you.Great dealing with you.Delivery was fast.
I received my saddle bags in a very short wait and after i loook them over i was very impressed with the quality and craftmenship of them. Jafrum i loved your product and the price you just cant beat them any where.
Bought these for my 2000 Suzuki intruder 1500, these are the perfect size, you have to tie them tight to keep them off the pipes, thinking about attaching them to the dike, because of their size I had to remove back rest
These are awesome bags! Just got them in. Shipping was extremely fast. Bags are really big and seen to be really well made. Not cheap at all. Great features. I will probably go with different locks but that is the only thing bad I can say about them. Haven't mounted to bike yet. Can't wait to see them on the bike. Overall a great buy. I will certainly recommend and continue to buy from these guys.
I would recommend these. They look great and quality materials. Water resistant.
I bought these for my husband as a Christmas gift and can't wait for him to open them. They are perfect, great size and quality for the unbeatable price.
I bought this for my 2012 Triumph America and it fit good. I was caught in the rain and it kept my papers and gear dry. So far had it for a month and they are worth the money. Need better straps for the bags.
Minor adjustments fits and look great ! Fast delivery ! Never disappointed
The bags were actually really really nice well worth the money easy to install!!!
The SD 4085 is a very large size, multi pocket saddlebag that is constructed out of PVC; a strong, yet cost effective alternative to leather. These bags measure 19 x 12 x 7 inches and will work best on larger cruisers. The lids have a unique shape and are adorned with these textured metal studs. These saddlebags can be installed by simply laying the saddlebag yoke across the rear fender. Make sure to keep an inch or two of clearance between any saddle bag and your exhaust system. While these bags are equipped with a heat resistant panel on the bottom, maintaining clearance will prevent the contents of your bags from getting damaged. Once you have set the height, you can reinstall your seat and secure the bags to your saddlebag supports with these cords. The heavy duty, reinforced panel on the rear of the bag allows for bolt on mounting as well. You will need a motorcycle specific mounting system like Saddleman's S4 Quick disconnect kit, and a universal saddlebag support bracket kit. These bags are very easy to remove by unfastening this hook and loop strip and unzipping the hidden zipper. These long shackle locks are included as a theft deterrent but I wouldn't ride with these installed because they can scratch your paint or your fender strut. The exterior of each bag is equipped with two pockets for easy access to smaller items. The bags are held closed by these lockable quick release buckles that are hidden beneath these classic looking ones. Opening the bag, reveals this snap down element barrier and these low profile pockets on the inside walls of the bag. So, if you're looking for an easy to install, gigantic set of saddlebags with all the bells and whistles, look no further than the SD4085's.
