Lately, I have been doing a lot of upgrades on my bike, and since my original saddlebags had belts broken and were no longer waterproof, I needed something to replace them. I searched for days to find the right fit and style for my bike (XLH 1200 Sportster) and since the reviews were good I took the chance. These bags look really good and they have plenty of room. What I like about them is the pouches on the inside, the waterproof flap, and the overall appearance; and at Jafrum's price and fast shipping, you really can't go wrong. That said, what I didn't like was the zip off feature. I tested it straight out of the box, and because of the Velcro grabbing, before I could get them lined up, I had quite the difficulty getting them back on. I also had to move the ties to the lock positions because I literally had no place to tie them down otherwise. Other than those couple of issues, they will suffice!

Motorcycle Saddlebags Plain with Braids Mounting Instructions
Measure distance horizontally from the edge of the rear turn signal to where the passenger would be aligned on the seat. Next, measure the distance vertically from the exhaust pipe to approximately two inches below the top of the rear fender.
*Please remember to allow at least one inch clearance between the bottom of the saddlebag and the exhaust pipe. This will prevent the saddlebag from being damaged by touching the exhaust pipe.
Generally, to install throw-over saddlebags to your bike, you would need to remove the passenger seat. You would then ensure that the hook and loop connectors are firmly pressed together and secure bonding the two bags. To ensure additional stability, use the strap at the top of one saddlebag and thread through the double d-ring on the other saddlebag. Place the saddlebags on the top of your bike and adjust to how you want the bags to sit. After this is complete, re-install your passenger seat back on the bike. There are additional straps on the bottom of the saddlebags for added security and stability as well.

I ride an 03 Honda shadow spirit 750, I was concerned about the size and quality due to the price. I gotta say the quality exceeded my expectations. The size was a little bit big for my bike but I was able to make it work, and I didn't have to move my signals. They look great on my bike too. For the price you can't go wrong I'm even talking my buddy into getting some. I did the ground shipping and it took 4 days to get to me, wasn't to bad. I'm very happy about it, I try and show them off every chance I get .
For the price paid, you probably won't find a nicer set of saddlebags, and you definitely won't receive faster service! The bags arrived at my house in three days from the time I ordered them. The price was more than fair, and the quality of the bags given the price point is top notch. This is the second set of bags I've purchased from this company (I liked the first set so much, I bought another set for my wife's bike) and have no regrets about being a repeat customer. Sure, there are better bags out there, but I'm not aware of a better value than these. Thank you Jafrum from a highly satisfied customer.
These bags are very similar to the other 4065 bags that Jafrum sells. I didnt want studs as its another place that rust will start. I love the braided look, and since there was a matching sissy bar bag available, I made the purchase. These bags came with the removable carry handles and locks. The salesperson on the phone went to warehouse and looked at them before I made purchase. First, this is the first synthetic bag I have bought. Initially they are very nice and hold their shape and with the forward flap, things may stay dry. I dont know how these bags will hold up over time, But I like the design and shape.. They fit a Virago 1100 perfect, but it is difficult to grab the frame behind the yoke, to pull the bike on center stand. The bags also came with lockable quick release clips. Jafrum's customer service was outstanding, and arrived promptly. Im Pleased with the bags.
I was a little nervous buying these bags sight unseen, but as usual, all the products I buy from Jafrum are always quality . These look good, appear durable, and you can't beat the price, Haven't put them on yet, but I laid them across the bag rack and they're going to fit perfect on my Sportster 1200. Even big enough to hold my shorty helmet, particularly like the plastic quick release buckles so I don't have to undo the bag buckles.
