My girlfriend bought me the RS5001 rainsuit for Christmas this year. VERY NICE!!! I am impressed with the feel and quality of this gear. It looks great as well. I haven't had an opportunity to field test it, yet but, I will have it in my backpack in the event I get caught in the rain. GREAT GIFT... LOVE IT!!!

Have not yet had an opportunity to wear this rain suit. However, I have used a friends suit which was the same brand and found it to be a great suit for a great price. We were riding in some pretty heavy rain and I was able to stay dry. The only concern I have is with the neck. I was unable to get it tight enough to keep out drips. Hoping this newer version has resolved that.
Super fast shipping! Very roomy, lightweight, true to size. Husband enjoyed his father's day gift. Thank you Jafrum.
It looks to be well made. The fit was good and it was comfortable to wear. Can't wait to try it out.
So basically I've read many of the reviews and I gotta be honest even with all the good feedback I was kind of skeptical. Never the less I did buy it for an upcoming ride I planned. And I gotta say this is 1 of the BEST things I invested in for riding gear, 1st 2 days was pouring rain And this suit kept us DRY!! Size was pretty accurate too. So in short if you're planning a few days ride Do yourself a favor and order yourself 1 Hell buy 1 just to keep in your bag doesn't take up a lot of space. And very reasonable too! Keep the shiny side up.
The rainsuites were both too big for me and my husband. I did not reorder at this time, but the quality seemed to be very good.
Great gear fits good. Excellent quality. Fast delivery and great price have already recommended to friends.
I give it thumbs up!! Airflow is good, the price is very good, installation ok, fit is not bad, I have ordered 4 of these so far and everyone that I have purchased these for has been very happy and I am very pleased with mine and my wife's too.
Bought this for our vacation road trip. Excellent quality and extremely affordable. You can't beat it for the price. Plenty of room to move in. I would highly recommend these suits.
We have bought several of these and our son grew out of his so we went up a size. They work wonderfully.
I am 6ft 185lbs. Ordered large. Kind of too big but will fit easily under a leather jacket. Seems to be a great quality suit. Especially for the price. I would absolutely recommend it.
Rain suit is very nice and can't go wrong for the price.
The rain suit looks great and appears well made. I am planning a dual sport motorcycle trip in June and needed some rain gear. The suit fits fine and I am looking forward to try it out on the road.
The suits I just purchased were better than I expected. My wife and I love them.
Surprised at how nice the quality is. Not a cheap thin suit, that will rip the first time you put it on. Haven't had a chance to wear it in the rain yet.
"Shipping was fast! Seems to be a good product for the money. I am 6' 205 lbs"
Love the suits so far. Taking on a trip next weekend. Not sure if I want to really know if they works well or not. If needed hope they do. They are large but I'm sure we'll need the room with other clothes on. They seem to be really well made.
Excellent quality at a great price. Fast shipping. Very satisfied. Great fit when ordered using website recommendations.
Very well made, haven't been in the rain yet, looks to be high quality and made better than products twice the cost.
Very well made. True to size. Quality materials. Hasn't rained. But I'm confident I will stay dry in this suit. I will recommend this to my buds. Arrived sooner than expected.
A rain suit is a necessary item in any rider's apparel collection. Even if you don't ever plan on riding in the rain, there are some things that are simply not in your control. If you have ever gotten soaked to the bone with cold rain 30 or more miles away from home, you probably already own one of these. Rain suits are made in a variety of styles and materials most of which are available on our website, Jafrum.com
The Thunder Under RS5001 two piece rainsuit is made from nylon. Nylon is a good fabric for a rainsuit because it is lightweight, easy to pack, and somewhat breathable. It can also be very reasonably priced. This complete suit with all of the features I'm about to show you is on sale on Jafrum.com for less than forty five dollars. The only downsides to nylon as a rainsuit fabric are that it is not flexible, most rainsuits aren't flexible, and it doesn't hold up to sunlight very well. All that means to you the rider is that you don't want to lay it out in the sun for extended periods of time to dry. If you take proper care of a nylon suit it will provide you with protection from the elements for many years and miles.
This rainsuit has almost every feature available in this type of apparel, and It is available in six color ways. The suits are primarily black with accent color choices of yellow, blue, gray, orange, pink, and red. There is high viz piping on the sleeves of the jacket, across the chest, and across the back. There is more high viz in the form of these panels near the cuffs of the pants as well
Let's take a closer look at the three quarter length jacket. This jacket has a durable plastic zipper that is covered by these dual panels and secured with a hook and loop system to ensure a waterproof closure. All the seams are tape sealed as well to keep the water out. The dual pockets on the front of the jacket have full width hook and loop closures making them nearly completely waterproof.
The fit on this jacket is very adjustable. There is a stretchy band all the way around the jacket to reduce buffeting at speed and there are pull tabs at the bottom to snug up the opening. The only feature that is missing on this jacket that would be nice is maybe some adjusters on the sleeves. They're nice to have to keep the jacket quiet especially if you ride a bike with little or no wind screen. The cuffs are fully adjustable with stretch panels on one side, an adjustable hook and loop closure on the other, and a zippered expander with a waterproof gusset.
The interior of the jacket has been equipped with a mesh lining. This will help wick moisture away from your skin and also keep the rain gear from sticking to your skin when you start to sweat.
Now let's get a look at the pants. The waist of the pants is stretchy all the way around and has a draw string for adjustability. The cuffs of the legs are also adjustable with zippered expanders and waterproof gussets. The pocket on the pants has a hook and loop closure system and is almost completely waterproof. There are reinforced panels in high wear areas on the both the backside and also on the legs where the fabric can come into high heat areas and rub on footpegs. The legs also have removable stirups to help keep your pantlegs from riding up and letting water into your boots.
