Ordered two for the wife and I. The fit is good, the zippers with the inside flap really keeps the rain out. Even the hardest rain did not get in (If you happen to have a larger bottom, you might want to go to the next size up). We are very happy with our decision to buy these rain suits. Jafrum has again provided a quality product at a great price. Thank you!
Received in 2 days. Have not used in rain yet but seems like a very good rain suit. Well made and heavy duty. Very happy with Jafrum.
We bought this stuff online in a pinch. We were taking a trip and needed some rain gear, I was more than pleased with the quality of the material. Not very heavy material but still very durable and comfortable. I would recommend this rain gear for any rider.
I love it. A perfect product.
This suit was of better quality than I expected! Well worth the price, just wish it had the little hood. Very pleased.
Haven't used our suits yet...But I've been riding for 40 years and know good rain gear. Quality through out, super features. I know the suits will keep us warm and dry. You can't beat the price for what you get.
Bought this for my husband... great quality He loves it
Received my 2 piece thunder under rain gear today. This is one heck of a bargain for the price. Quality is top notch. Shipping was fast. Do yourself a favour and consider this rain gear you will not be disappointed.
Quality rain suit that will keep the water out. Has all the features that you need and at a great price. The fit will be a little large so purchase accordingly. If you need rain gear, get this. You will not be disappointed. Jafrum was easy to do business with and the shipping was great.
Bought lg and 3 x.... Wife would have been a medium but I was afraid to get too small I figure too lg was safer.... The lg is big I could have gotten a medium but am keeping it.... Never know how many coats it will have to go over... The 3 x fits OK .I am 6'4" 280.. With a big belly. The elastic on coat comes too high on my belly to help keep blow up....strong Velcro and zipper. I had to exchange the 3 x because the liner in the arm was twisted .could not get my arm in.. No problem with jafrum.. Called and got return tag and sent back.two week turnaround time I thought was very good. It's winter so haven't tested yet but looks well made with descent material and mesh liner in jacket. I bought this set because with my height I wanted the boot strap too hold pant leg down when I sit on bike. Also I wanted a set I could pack smaller than what I have now. This set comes with storage bag but I want to pack a bit smaller than that bag. But it is easy to pack.... I thought these would be made of a cloth but appears to be a type of plastic but well made and taped....seams. Also the price was very good for this set
I have not tested the gear yet but I'm very confident in all of Jafrum products. Best place to shop for motorcycle gear and accessories at a reasonable price.
Bought a rain suit for both my wife and I, black/pink for her, black/orange for me. The quality impressed me and order true to chart for over the coat and jeans. Both fit great. They look very good and I thought the price was exceptionally in line when looking for a value. I highly recommend these products for the guys and gals. Really enjoy buying from this company.
"Touring in the summer inevitably leads into a summer rain storm. This rainsuit easily fits into my saddle bags. So far it has kept me dry."
"After doing alot of searching I would say there is nothing that is a better value than this set."
"Nice Rain Suit. Brightly colored for good visibility on cloudy, foggy, rainy days. Fits well. Is comfortable over clothes. Ordered a size up for both me and my boyfriend to be sure. Fortunately haven't had a chance to use it yet in rain, but feel it will do the job of keeping us dry if/when necessary to get from point A to point B. |Jafrum is a good seller and ships very fast."
"Very pleased with this product. The price was the cheapest I found and I thought the quality was as good as rainsuits that cost twice as much. I was also pleased with how rapid the order was processed. I got my order in 2 days."
"Very good quality and good price for the suit. Keeps me nice and dry. Lots of handy pockets. I recommend this rain suit."
"Shipping was fast! Seems to be a good product for the money. I am 6' 205 lbs"
"I was amazed how fast the free shipping was....I got my package in a few days!! I am very pleased with the rain gear...its not too heavy and the quality is good."
A rain suit is a necessary item in any rider's apparel collection. Even if you don't ever plan on riding in the rain, there are some things that are simply not in your control. If you have ever gotten soaked to the bone with cold rain 30 or more miles away from home, you probably already own one of these. Rain suits are made in a variety of styles and materials most of which are available on our website, Jafrum.com
The Thunder Under RS5001 two piece rainsuit is made from nylon. Nylon is a good fabric for a rainsuit because it is lightweight, easy to pack, and somewhat breathable. It can also be very reasonably priced. This complete suit with all of the features I'm about to show you is on sale on Jafrum.com for less than forty five dollars. The only downsides to nylon as a rainsuit fabric are that it is not flexible, most rainsuits aren't flexible, and it doesn't hold up to sunlight very well. All that means to you the rider is that you don't want to lay it out in the sun for extended periods of time to dry. If you take proper care of a nylon suit it will provide you with protection from the elements for many years and miles.
This rainsuit has almost every feature available in this type of apparel, and It is available in six color ways. The suits are primarily black with accent color choices of yellow, blue, gray, orange, pink, and red. There is high viz piping on the sleeves of the jacket, across the chest, and across the back. There is more high viz in the form of these panels near the cuffs of the pants as well
Let's take a closer look at the three quarter length jacket. This jacket has a durable plastic zipper that is covered by these dual panels and secured with a hook and loop system to ensure a waterproof closure. All the seams are tape sealed as well to keep the water out. The dual pockets on the front of the jacket have full width hook and loop closures making them nearly completely waterproof.
The fit on this jacket is very adjustable. There is a stretchy band all the way around the jacket to reduce buffeting at speed and there are pull tabs at the bottom to snug up the opening. The only feature that is missing on this jacket that would be nice is maybe some adjusters on the sleeves. They're nice to have to keep the jacket quiet especially if you ride a bike with little or no wind screen. The cuffs are fully adjustable with stretch panels on one side, an adjustable hook and loop closure on the other, and a zippered expander with a waterproof gusset.
The interior of the jacket has been equipped with a mesh lining. This will help wick moisture away from your skin and also keep the rain gear from sticking to your skin when you start to sweat.
Now let's get a look at the pants. The waist of the pants is stretchy all the way around and has a draw string for adjustability. The cuffs of the legs are also adjustable with zippered expanders and waterproof gussets. The pocket on the pants has a hook and loop closure system and is almost completely waterproof. There are reinforced panels in high wear areas on the both the backside and also on the legs where the fabric can come into high heat areas and rub on footpegs. The legs also have removable stirups to help keep your pantlegs from riding up and letting water into your boots.
be adjusted with the draw string on the pants. We also have RS001 pants
if you wants to buy the pants separately. Tourmaster and other brands sell
jackets by itself. You may please use the URL provied for jackets sold separately.
