Used this suit during a return from a long out-of-state trip. Suit is great and I would purchase it again.
Very nice quality at a low price. I was impressed when received my rain gear. This keeps the rain off when you're on the freeway. I was reluctant on the size but there's plenty of room in a medium.
Un excelente producto Translation: An excellent product.
I got this suit in 2xl to fit over my current rain gear and jacket-Im 5:11 185. It works great as last layer of insurance and keeps the cold out. Easy to get in/out of. For the price point, excellent.
the rain suit is great. good price too. very happy with purchase
I always use a 1 piece, and this suit has a great seal on the front velcro/zipper. Awesome value.
Bought this rain suit in winter. It was the 3X size I'm a 300+ guy. It fit like a glove over clothes. I don't think it will fit over leather. It is easy on and off for me being a big guy. The only thing I don't like is the zipper is offset to the side. I think it would be a great product if it was down the middle. All other boot straps and closing are great. I'm 6' and there is plenty of crotch room. I'm very happy and it will work excellent for me in the lower 48. Hope it doesn't rain across Canada. Ha ha
This was my first time purchasing a 1 piece rain suit and I did so for myself and my wife. I was very surprised to see how well these are made and are thicker material and heavier than expected. These are true to size, no need to order larger than needed. Only thing to make it better is to have a hood so rain doesn't spill down your neck, but the stirrup straps are great to keep the legs pulled down. Impressed at fit and finish and with its own storage bag.
This suit is a good value for the money, watertight closures, sturdy, not too hard to get on and off. No venting of any kind, so you can be sweltering pretty quickly on a warm day, but with that in mind, it is an excellent buy.
A rain suit is a necessary item in any rider's apparel collection. Even if you don't ever plan on riding in the rain, there are some things that are simply not in your control. If you have ever gotten soaked to the bone with cold rain 30 or more miles away from home, you probably already own one of these. Rain suits are made in a variety of styles and materials most of which are available on our website, Jafrum.com
The Thunder Under RS5002 one piece rainsuit is made from nylon. Nylon is a good fabric for a rainsuit because it is lightweight, easy to pack, and somewhat breathable. It can also be very reasonably priced. This complete suit with all of the features I'm about to show you is on sale on Jafrum.com for less than forty dollars. The only downsides to nylon as a rainsuit fabric are that it is not flexible, although most rainsuits aren't flexible, and it doesn't hold up to sunlight very well. All that means to you the rider is that you don't want to lay it out in the sun for extended periods of time to dry. If you take proper care of a nylon suit it will provide you with protection from the elements for many years and miles.
This rainsuit is one of the best values available in this type of apparel, and It is available in this one color way. The suits are primarily black with a white accent panel across the chest and back and gray shoulders.
This rainsuit has a durable plastic zipper that is covered by these dual panels and secured with a hook and loop system to ensure a waterproof closure. It is also askew to allow you to unzip down into the leg area making this suit easy to get on and off. All the seams are tape sealed to keep the water out. The single pocket on the front of the suit has full width hook and loop closure making it nearly completely waterproof.
The fit on this jacket is true to size and takes your clothing or protective gear into acct. I'm a medium in most clothing and I own this suit personally and the medium fits perfectly. There is a stretchy band all the way around the suit to reduce buffeting at speed. The cuffs of the sleeves and pant legs also have stretchy cuffs with waterproof, zippered expanders for easy on and off. The only features that are missing on this rain suit that would be nice are maybe some adjusters on the sleeves and some stirrups on the legs. Sleeve adjusters are nice to have to keep the jacket quiet especially if you ride a bike with little or no wind screen and stirrups help keep your pantleg down and water out of your boots. There also aren't any heat resistant panels on the legs of this suit but at less than 40 dollars, this suit is still one heck of a bargain.
The interior of the RS5002 rainsuit has been equipped with a mesh lining. This will help wick moisture away from your skin and also keep the rain gear from sticking to your skin when you start to sweat.
