This is a great price for a rain gear, fits well, cover everything, stay dry inside & when wet just hang it up to dry it's that easy. I am glad that I bought this suit.
It's great, fits good. And am very pleased with item.
I bought this suit for one of my friends for Christmas. He always had a problem with melting the lower leg due to the muffler pipe. This suit has the heat resistant inner leg panel, and it works great. It's up high enough so that when sitting down it's just right, and the shipping was unbelivably fast.
Although I have yet to actualy need it, this rain set looks great! The jacket fits & looks good. The pants seem a bit large, but then I'm not a large guy, & it fits well over my chaps. The quality seems very good for the price, especialy. the sleeve & legs straps should help at speed. A hood would be nice, but then may also have posed a wind problem if it was there, & will have a helmet on when its raining anyway. Hope never to have to wear it, but feel confident it will serve well if needed.Plan to ride most way to Sturgis this year, may have to try it.
Sporadic weather had me worried about arriving to work looking like a drowned rat. I ordered what I felt I could afford, and expected to get my money's worth, if you know what I mean. Instead, I recieved a high quality rain suit. It far exceeded my meager money and expectations. As I have always experienced with Jafrum, my money was well spent.
I ordered this as my first rain gear. I received it today and immediately tried it out. It is amazing. Keeps rain out and keeps you warm. I love the zippers with flaps to keep the water off of you. Very good product. Am ordering more items.
"Great rain outfit. No leaks in rain and they double very nicely as a wind breaker. Great folks to deal with...fast shipping and delivery. I would highly recommend Jafrum to anybody. Great company."
Survived ride home during Hurricane Sandy, this is a great bargain and fits well!
I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of this product at such a reasonable price. I don't leave home without it.
Its hard to give a review on something that is a gift for someone else who hasnt seen it as of yet. BUT....I did take out of bags and look over the items and i have to say that i was very happy with the look and feel of the items. im sure that they will suit just fine and last a long time....without giving to much information....
I ordered this rainsuit with my replacement helmet and they arrived super quick. Haven't tried the suit in the rain as my bike is in the shop, but it looks real good. My only complaint is that it is not American made and didn't say so in the description.
This is a great buy. Nice quality rain gear. We have a ride soon that may bring a day or two in rain so had to get a good set. This a heavier set for colder weather riding. Perfect for the fall season. Good arm length and leg length. Just wish you had more sizes in stock... Wanted a 2x but no stock. Got an XL might not be able to wear a leather underneath, but definitely a hoodie or a lighter jacket.
Fast delivery. Very satisfied with the quality. Best rain suit I have owned. Would highly recommend. Great price.
Shipping was fast suit could not be better, flames a little much, but does let on coming traffic see you in storm.
The photo doesn't do the suit justice. This is a fairly heavy-duty piece of gear and the fit is near perfect. My long legs make my feet a little too far away from the elastic bottom of the pants when seated on the bike. Boot covers should fix that problem, however. Everything seems very well made. It's very comfortable and warm. I'm almost looking forward to getting caught in the rain now.
Very good rain gear, easy order, quick delivery, & excellent price. Thanks Jafrum
Just received my Thunder Under rain gear, tried it on and fits great. I happen to be 6'5" and ordered the xl. Sleeves on the jacket r plenty long and the elastic around the middle is a little tight but should keep it from ballooning like my h-d set. Pants could use some more length but expected that. Will let u know how it is the next time I ride in the rain.
I bought this rain suit more for keeping the cold out while driving in the late fall and early spring months. The jacket has been terrific at keeping me warm as long as I have my riding jacket underneath. There is plenty of room in the jacket...it's great. The legs are a little baggy but it really isn't a fashion show. They keep me less warm but have been sufficient for the little rain I have encountered. The zippers on the legs are somewhat cheap and they don't always want to work correctly. Other than those minor things...they are great.
This suit has kept me dry in a great many downpours. This, and my boot covers, brings me home dry every time. I would suggest getting a size bigger than you would normally wear. According to the chart, I wear a medium. The pants fit good and snug over my winter gear. The elastic in the waist of the jacket though is very tight and gets quite irritating after just a few miles. I plan on ordering a Large and pairing it with my medium pants. That should be just what the doctor ordered. :)
A rain suit is a necessary item in any rider's apparel collection. Even if you don't ever plan on riding in the rain, there are some things that are simply not in your control. If you have ever gotten soaked to the bone with cold rain 30 or more miles away from home, you probably already own one of these. Rain suits are made in a variety of styles and materials most of which are available on our website, Jafrum.com
The Thunder Under RS5003 two piece rainsuit is made from nylon. Nylon is a good fabric for a rainsuit because it is lightweight, easy to pack, and somewhat breathable. It can also be very reasonably priced. This complete suit with all of the features I'm about to show you is on sale on Jafrum.com for less than forty five dollars. The only downsides to nylon as a rainsuit fabric are that it is not flexible; although most rainsuits aren't flexible, and it doesn't hold up to sunlight very well. All that means to you the rider is that you don't want to lay it out in the sun for extended periods of time to dry. If you take proper care of a nylon suit it will provide you with protection from the elements for many years and miles.
This rainsuit has almost every feature available in this type of apparel, and It is available in this all black color way with these yellow, orange, and red flames running up the sleaves. There is high viz piping that runs across the chest, and across the back. There is more high viz in the way of these reflective panels near the cuffs of the pants.
Let's take a closer look at the three quarter length jacket. This jacket has a padded collar and a durable plastic zipper that is covered by these dual panels and secured with a hook and loop system to ensure a waterproof closure. All the seams are tape sealed as well to keep the water out. The dual pockets on the front of the jacket have full width hook and loop closures making them nearly completely waterproof.
The fit on this jacket is very adjustable. There is a stretchy band all the way around the jacket to reduce buffeting at speed and there are pull tabs at the bottom to snug up the opening. The only feature that is missing on this jacket that would be nice is maybe some adjusters on the sleeves. They're nice to have to keep the jacket quiet especially if you ride a bike with little or no wind screen. The cuffs are fully adjustable with stretch panels on one side, an adjustable hook and loop closure on the other, and a zippered expander with a waterproof gusset.
The interior of the jacket has been equipped with a mesh lining. This will help wick moisture away from your skin and also keep the rain gear from sticking to your skin when you start to sweat.
Now let's get a look at the pants. The waist of the pants is stretchy all the way around and has a draw string for adjustability. The cuffs of the legs are also adjustable with zippered expanders and waterproof gussets. The pocket on the pants has a hook and loop closure system and is almost completely waterproof. There are reinforced panels in high wear areas on the both the backside and also on the legs where the fabric can come into high heat areas and rub on footpegs. The legs also have removable stirups to help keep your pantlegs from riding up and letting water into your boots. The only feature not in these pants is the mesh liner you find in the jacket.
