HJC IS-Max 2 Helmet Sizing
Wrap a tape measure horizontally around your forehead. Select the helmet that is the closest fit to that size. A helmet should fit snug on your head. If it moves while wearing, it is too large. If it is painful to wear, it is too small.

Purchased the HJC IS-MAX 2 modular helmet for both me and my wife. Both helmets came within 2 days and fit perfectly. I love how easy it is to use and would highly recommend it.
Thank You for your extremely professional handling of my recent helmet purchase. My new helmet arrived several days earlier than expected. It was boxed perfectly. The requested accessories were included in the same box. The HJC IS-Max 2 Modular Helmet fit perfectly. I have a really big head so needed a 5XL. This was one of the only modular helmets I could find and I was praying it would fit. I have worn it for about 100 miles now and the fit is perfect and I am very happy with my new helmet. Thanks again.
Had difficult time finding helmets for an abnormally large cranium (24"+). Some helmets are more round and some more oval (front/back not side/side). Found 2 brands that fit (HJC IS-Max 2 5XL modular and GMAX GM67S 3XL open face). Wanted to fit into the largest ICON (Pharaoh model was visually stunning!) but no way. HJC IS-Max 2 like= the slide-down 'sunglasses' (with quick to snap up return button), quick change visor, wine with metallic fleck color and chin curtain. Don't like= this helmet is loud (louder than my open face somehow). Earplug loud, not 'return this helmet' loud.

Pleasant transaction and a solid helmet. I have used HJC CL Max helmets in the past and have been happy with them. I wanted to step up a bit and I believe this helmet will fit the bill. Weather has kept me from riding but I m looking forward to trying this helmet.
Searched and found this HJC here at Jafrum. Got it super fast. Excellent in quality. Can't go wrong ordering from these guys. Will purchase products in the future.
Recently purchased this helmet, am very happy with the looks, fit and ease of putting this helmet on.....It is very comfortable, visibility is great, looks good, great quality, love the color(anthracite), I am very happy with this purchase
I am really enjoying this new helmet, it is definitely a step up from the 3/4 helmet I had been using both in terms of comfort and sense of protection. It looks good also and I already have friend who is getting one for himself.
Bought this brain bucket one size larger, good decision, good fit. Went for a 2hr ride to check it out. Temps at 34 degrees, noticed the ventilation right away, can't wait for warmer weather. Good vision, seems well made, so far so good.
First modular helmet use to half are no helmet so for I like still getting use to it.

Not quite a full 48hr after I placed my online order, my helmet was delivered
I am very pleased with this helmet, I wanted a modular....much easier to get on and off, fits great and looks great. Love the convenience of being able to raise the tinted face shield for communicating or a breath of fresh air when stopped. It is constructed very well, feel quite safe wearing it.
My dear wife asked me what I wanted for my birthday. I'm a rider and have been riding for 18 years, having gotten into motorcycles rather late in life. I've had a couple of very low speed laydowns, nothing more or worse. At 68 I figured I would not bounce very high, any more, so it was time to do something for myself...and something for my wife. I asked her for this specific helmet. Specific reasons were these: This is a full-face helmet. Being a modular type, the chin bar will raise up, making removal and putting-on easier and more comfortable. This helmet has an internal dark lens for daytime riding, and this lens is easily raised and lowered while wearing the helmet. I wear glasses (bifocals) and this helmet was specifically described as glasses-friendly. I cannot speak for other glasses wearers, but I am able to put this helmet on and take it off while wearing my glasses. Yes, I have had to readjust them, sometimes, but that has never been a problem. I often ride in pretty chilly weather, and find that this helmet makes the ride very comfy in the cold. I have also ridden in the rain and even some light hail. I suspect this helmet will keep my face from the sting of the rain and hail (and june bugs). The shield tends to fog up in the cold, so I just raise the shield up one notch and the fog clears away immediately. Fiddling with the vents has not seemed to affect (or clear) the fogging. I do not ride with a windshield on my bike, a '99 FXDX, and find there is no head-shaking turbulence from this helmet as I had worried about before wearing it. I used the sizing guide to fit the helmet and am very satisfied with the fit, right out of the box. The instructions with the helmet made reference to a snap-out chin dam, or whatever...but there was none in the box or the helmet. No matter, as I have a full beard which serves me very nicely to keep my face warm when riding. Overall, I like this helmet, and will wear it all the time.
The HJC IS-MAX II is a great modular helmet. We have 4 riders in our family (4 bikes also), and all wear HJC helmets. My wife and I each bought new helmets (hers is the CL-MAX), and with both helmets our cheek pads were really tight on the sides of our faces when we first put them on, to the point of being uncomfortable. They fit well everywhere else. So my solution was to remove the 4 cheek pads and place them on the floor with a small table turned upside-down on them. Then I added books to the table and smashed the cheek pads overnight. The next day hers was perfect, but mine was still a little tight. So my cheek pads got another night under pressure. Problem solved. Now it's perfectly comfortable. I added U-Clear Bluetooth headsets, from our older helmets, and they work perfectly in the HJC helmets without infringing on your ear space at all. I love the way the internal shield slides down to give built-in sunglasses. When it is hot outside, I flip the main shield up and just use the internal shield. This increases airflow in the helmet even more. We both ride behind large windshields, she is on a Gold Wing and I'm on a Valkyrie, so we don't get a ton of airflow to start with. But I have been pleased with how cool the IS-MAX II is, even with both shields down. The HJC helmets have a single release right in the middle, and are super easy to operate. Also, having the pinlock-ready main shield is a great feature. When you consider the bang-for-the-buck factor, these have to be the best choice out there. One final note: Jafrum is very easy to deal with, and when I called to ask a question before placing the order, the lady I spoke with was very knowledgeable and helpful. Then they shipped the helmets out and we had them in only 2-3 days. I'm very pleased with Jafrum!
