Here at Jafrum, we support our troops and their efforts both here and overseas, and are proud to stock Joe Rocket’s U.S. military branded motorcycle riding gear. Thank you, again, to all of the men and women serving in the United States’ armed forces, from all of us here at Jafrum.

These new Tactical gloves are constructed using a mix of drum dyed leather and polymesh, so they provide a good amount of protection for the street, but are also very lightweight, and breath really well. This is going to be a great late Spring, Summer, and early Fall option for the street rider looking for a cool, light feeling glove with the increased protection of leather.

They’re available in sizes small to three x and the fit is going to be best on folks with a more slender hand shape. I typically wear a medium glove and I find the fit across the hand to be a little snug, although these lighter duty gloves tend to break in quite a bit, so this aspect of the fit will end up perfect. The fingers are a little bit long, but this is fairly common for me, and not a deal breaker because it doesn’t really affect my ability to operate my motorcycle.

They’ve added some nice features to this new Tactical glove. The high impact areas of the palm are reinforced, and they’ve added an accordion style stretch panel to the pinky and ring finger area. I like this feature because it promotes a good palm shape when you’re properly addressing your motorcycles controls, by using just your index and middle finger to operate the clutch and brake levers. They also feature a pull tab to make getting the gloves onto wet or sweaty hands much easier, and a hook and loop closure for quick on and off.

If you flip the glove over, you can see the reinforced leather panels on the fingers, with gel pads for added protection, and the padded gel protector for the knuckles. The U.S. Marine Corps branding comes in the form of these TPR emblems fixed to this flex panel, and these embroidered stars.

Again, these Joe Rocket Marines Tactical gloves are a great choice for the street rider looking for a very light feeling glove that will offer a much higher level of protection than a textile option.
