Vega Stealth Helmet Sizing
Helmet Sizing Information.
To achieve proper helmet fitment, begin by finding your head circumference size using the method described below. Remember that the helmet sizing you choose should fit around the crown of your head comfortably with no pressure points. The cheekpads should fit firmly around your face. Once your chin strap is fastened, grab the chin bar of the helmet and move it side to side. Your cheeks should move with the helmet, which should not slide across your face. Different thickness cheekpads can be purchased to obtain the perfect fit.
Head Measurement Instructions.
Wrap flexible tape measure around your head approximately on inch above eyebrows and ears. Use this measurement (in either inches or centimeters) to find your helmet size in the chart below.

I bought this helmet over the winter months. I finally get a chance to try it now it's spring in Alaska. I like the features. I can put it on and off without taking off my glasses. That one thing is worth more than people will know to me. I ordered two sizes larger and it fit very very well. It is snug and with a break in I think it will be great. I love the drop down inner shield. The helmet seems a little heavy but I have a weak neck since I had a cage accident. The color is great and I won't know for a few more days on the ventilation. Bike in getting work on ignition. Will add later. It seems to me the inner shield lever is weak but haven't had any problems with it. It did take a few try to get it to go up and down. I think a wear in was needed. After a few dozen moves up and down now it is a lot smoother. All in all, so far I recommend this helmet as a cheap inexpensive good helmet.
Really happy with the purchase considering the sale price. All of the features of much more expensive helmets. Very comfortable, nice padding. Modular mechanism and shield mechanism seem nice. Quick release strap is a great addition. Wish the sun visor was darker. Haven't worn it on the bike yet due to still being winter, but I expect it to be a big steep up from my old helmet.
Seems to be a great buy!! Haven't worn it out on the bike yet, but it seems to be everything I was expecting!!
Bought two vertice helmets, one for the wife and one for myself. Fits great. feels solid and not too heavy. sun shield works well as does the catches and the venting. Would buy again, especially from Jafrum.
This is a great helmet. I ordered a size larger than called for and it fits great. Both of the shields are easy to operate. The modular comes up smoothly and stays up. I highly recommend.
Great helmet I bought two.
I got the helmet in a couple of weeks, when I expected a month (at least) because it's crossing the border. When I did get it, the parcel was light, so I thought they sent the wrong helmet. It's exactly the size and color I ordered, love the fit and LOVE the venting. I've worn it around the house a couple of times (my neighbors are used to me), but haven't had it on the bike yet. All around a good deal and great transaction.
Awesome product. All features work as advertised and it is not as noisy as most modular helmets
Great helmet. Bought one for myself and one for the wife. Mine was missing the chin flap called Jafrum on a Monday morning received it Thursday. Great company to deal with. Excellent customer service. Will be buying more items from them in the future.
Just received helmet and have not tried it out yet BUT it has all of the features one would want in a modular helmet. It appears to be well made and looks very nice. I already own a Vega Summit 3 modular helmet and this is an improved version of the Summit model in my opinion. The reason for the 4 Stars verses 5 Stars is because at this point some of features seem quite stiff (i.e. - drop down internal sun shield controls). If you are interested in modular helmets this one deserves a look at.
I tried a number of helmets before finding this one on Jafrum. It's amazing how much fit difference there is between brands. I normally wear a 2x in AFX but even some 3X's were so tight my head felt like a pumpkin in a trash compactor. This helmet fit great in 3x and I am thrilled with the features. I love the built in space for communications, the flip down visor and the weather seal around the shield is great. I was thrilled with Jafrum's excellent customer service. They shipped it quick. I actually ordered two in different sizes and the return process for the other one was easy and quick.
Seems like a great helmet. Sizing was spot on. Only problem is that I wear glasses and the drop down sun visor hit my glasses so I had to return it. Guess I'll have to continue with my prescription sunglasses.
This helmet appears to be well made and is what I had expected when I ordered it. There is only one drawback that I can see at this point. It is going to take some creative thinking to mount a Harley Davidson headset in it. I do not want to spend more for a bluetooth headset than the helmet cost so the only solution is mounting a headset that I already possess.
This is an awesome helmet. Looks good and very comfortable. The color matched my bike perfectly. I purchased a bluetooth headset and was able to install it quickly. I don't really care for the smoked lens mechanism, it is difficult to lower completely with just one hand. Other than that it is a great buy. Would purchase again.
The only reason I gave this helmet four stars instead of five is that it runs a little on the small side. I initially purchased this helmet to replace the open face helmet due to the amount of noise that I've been dealing with. I ordered a 3xl and really should have ordered at least a 4xl (which they don't have in this model). Luckily, my wife needed a helmet and it fit her beautifully. She's quite happy with the ventilation, the fit, and the features this helmet offers. It really is a great helmet, I just wish they made one in my size.
This is a great helmet for the price. I purchased one for me to see how it was. I was so impressed I bought another one for my girlfriend. Great quality, not too heavy, all functions work as advertised, and a lot of vents for adequate airflow. As good as helmets that cost two or three times as much. I would highly recommend.
You can't beat the price for this helmet. Followed the measurement instructions and was right at the edge of the large. Went to the XL perfect fit. As for the wind noise I would rate that as mild to moderate. I'm quite happy with my purchase.
The helmet runs small. I initially ordered a 2x when my measurements call for an xL. The helmet was still to small so I called customer service. The video online also shows a spring release sun visor which my helmet did not have. Customer service was quick to send me a postage paid label via email and I just received my replacement about a week later. I still don't have the spring release but no big deal and I have the larger helmet without having to pay for return shipping. You really can't complain for the price of this helmet. Spring release would've been nice but not worth sending this one back too. I can't wait for it to warm up to try this helmet on road. I would've gave 5 star if I got my spring release.
I wanted to wait a couple months before doing a review of the helmet to see what happened and how it worked instead of just saying it looks great and came quick. Well, it looks great, came quick, was packaged very well and arrived with no scars from travel. The helmet this one replaced was 30 years old. I can't believe how light it is compared to my old one. I bought the Hi-Viz Yellow to maybe help be seen a little more. It's a very bright color. My son calls it the glow in the dark helmet. I went by the sizing of my previous helmet. The size charts would have had me in a way too small size if I had followed them. Plus, I had tried on the Vega Summit 2 at a shop and knew the size chart wouldn't work for me due to the size I needed in that one. The helmet fits great. The lining is comfortable and soft. It blocks way more noise than my old helmet did. I'd say the interior noise levels are probably half what they were with my old grant helmet. I really like the included quick release, it's very easy to get the helmet off. I wear glasses and wanted the modular so I wouldn't have as much trouble with them. It works great! It fits tight enough against the side of my face but doesn't shove the earpieces into my temples either. As many have said, the vents are nearly useless. You can feel a very tiny bit of air movement. When you stop especially if it's hot, you end up opening the visor 1 notch to allow some ventilation. The visor is great being optically correct. The field of vision is much better than my old full face helmet. It seems to seal very well against the helmet when closed. I have not ridden in the rain with it yet so I can't comment on the water tightness. The flip-down sun shield is really nice for riding in the late afternoon or early morning. It is easy to operate and works well. I'm guessing that due to the shape and the air flow design, it wants to face straight into the wind. If you turn your head to the side, you feel it pulling to get you back looking straight ahead. The helmet also wants to lift noticeably at highway speeds. Make sure your chin strap is tight and it's not a problem but feels unusual to have the helmet pulling up and back a little. I have had no buffeting problems at all with it. Wind noise is there but it's not loud at all. I would buy this helmet again.
