The vest is great quality. No rips, tears, loose stitching, or logos missing/coming off on the vest I received. The product was packaged well & the sizing was correct.
The vest has a great design inside & out. A MUST SEE IN PERSON! The LED lighting strips do work on the spine of the vest! Don't freak out if you press the power button & they don't come on--you must remove a plastic strip from the power button to activate (which is found in a velcro pouch on the left shoulder.)
Went for a ride in the vest, it was comfortable. & I really have no complaints so far. Very satisfied with the product. So I do recommend this product & seller.

When these armored vests first came out, they were designed as a supplement to a protective motorcycle riding jacket, for the aggressive street rider, or for the guy that wanted to be able to get hit by a bus and walk away. Almost right away, though, these vests started popping up all over the streets, being worn with just a t-shirt, especially in very hot climates. Now, these vests are the choice of many parking lot stunters, because they protect your core from pegs, bars, and levers without restricting your movement at all.
This Lunatic Fringe armored vest is part of a very capable stunter’s dream lineup including a helmet and a pair of gloves. The Tri-Composite chassis consists of Fierce Mesh, Polyurethane, and flex foam. The chest protector and CE approved spine protector are made of an impact absorbing injection molded material. Proof that these vests are no longer designed to be hidden under another jacket, is in this spine protector. Yep, it lights up. Don’t get me wrong, sneakers with lights in the soles are the hotness. My vintage L.A. Gears are a prize possession. But, you have not even begun to stun until your vest lights up with at least three modes, including rock steady on, skitz blink, and chill blink.
The controller and battery holder are hidden in the left shoulder. To change the battery, very carefully remove the controller from the hook and loop pocket, making sure not to pull too hard on the wires. To access the batteries, press in the center of the controller on the left side and pull the battery tray out from the right. You’ll find two button cell type batteries. Their replacements are easy to find by simply entering the part number into the Googles.
The Lunatic Fringe Armored vest is available in three sizes, and there is an easy to read size chart on the listing to help you establish your size. The vest is adjustable at the shoulders and at the waist, so between the three sizes, there is a vest to fit any rider with between a thirty six and a fifty six inch chest perfectly. Once you have the vest adjusted to your liking, you can put it on and take it off by unfastening only one of the waist connections to save you a bunch of time.
The inside of the vest features a padded interior with a graffiti looking graphic.
All and all the new Speed and Strength Lunatic Fringe Armored motorcycle safety vest is a revolutionary addition to this style of riding protection, and at less than a hundred and thirty bucks, it’s a very attainable option.
