Panovision? Viewport Increases Field Of View No matter what or how you ride, one factor remains constant: the need for maximum visibility. Whether racing or going on a simple ride in the mountains, the ability to make safe headchecks and see obstacles clearly is critical. The Panovision viewport in the 2016 Star offers riders additional vertical and lateral visibility over the previous Star and more traditional viewports. This allows the rider to see better in a tight or tucked position and make safer lane changes and head-checks.

Pro Star and Race Star feature the Flex impact liner, designed to perform across a range of crash scenarios. It does this by using three different materials at three different densities. As the impact becomes greater, higher density layers are engaged to manage energy.

The 2016 Pro Star and Race Star feature our revolutionary Flex impact liner. Designed to manage energy from impacts big and small, the Flex liner uses 3 unique materials at different densities to manage low, mid and high energy impacts. Using expanded polyolefin (EPO), a soft and flexible low-density polymer for low-speed impacts, with EPP and EPS layers for mid to high-speed impacts, we have a progressive impact liner that works incredibly well to manage impacts across the spectrum of crash types.

Helmet Size Information. We ask that you use the following information to help choose the proper size helmet. In order for a helmet to protect properly and be the most comfortable, it must be size to your head correctly.

To find the Correct size helmet for a person's head:

  1. Measure the head circumference one-inch above the eyebrows and ears
  2. Using the circumference measured, use the size chart below to find the approximate size
  3. Once you have tried on the helmet it should fell snug equally around the head. The helmet should not feel too tight or too loose at any point around head.
