Wrap a tape measure horizontally around your forehead. Select the helmet that is the closest fit to that size. A helmet should fit snug on your head. If it moves while wearing, it is too large. If it is painful to wear, it is too small.

Nice Looking Helmet
Posted onI purchased the HJC 33 11 Helmet and was well pleased. It is a nice looking helmet with a lot of added features of helmets that would cost much more. It fits just right and is very comfortable. I would suggest anyone looking for this type of helmet purchase the HJC IS 33 11. I don't think that you will be disappointed.
Posted onI've been looking for a lightweight helmet with a lot of ventilation, that was not full face. This helmet exceeded my expectations. I'm a small female. It's very hard to find a well-made helmet that doesn't weigh a ton and has a great viewing range. This helmet has both. Love it.
HJC IS-33 and Cousin Niro Are the Way To Go
Posted onFunny how we all see things similarly and differently. I find the fit snug and I really like that so it doesn't "bob" around in the tough wind. Very very comfortable. The sun shield ease of use is cool too with a simple button on top of the helmet that auto-retracts it, so you don't have to fumble around. Truly love the open face style for visibility and the rapid fire replacement system. Well, let me just say, it's about time. There are a bunch of great brands and helmets out there, but for my 15+ years of riding, HJC has always offered style, comfort, and safety at a sensible price.
HJC IS-33 II Niro Helmet Review
Posted onI've been looking at this HJC IS-33 Niro Helmet for awhile, I'm thinking of buying it for myself. The color strip, I believe go along with my motorcycle. HJC Helmets out of them all fit my head. I already own a couple of HJC helmets but this one is calling my name. The aerodynamics & the style seem to be the DOT helmet for me. I'll let you know in my next reviews when I purchase it.
Very Pleased! Great Choice!
Posted onI initially bought a CL-33 and then an IS-33 last May. I haven't been on a motorcycle for quite some time. I bought a white IS-33 II last July when the dealer showed it to me. It struck me as being very beautifully styled. I got a white one. Unlike the IS-33 which hurt quite a bit when it was new, the IS-33 II immediately felt right. I use a large and this model fits true to size. I love the extra length of the faceshield. The internal sunvisor also works better. When at speed, I can really feel the chimney vent going to work. The rear extractor vents also draw heat away from your head. When I found out that HJC discontinued production of the AC-3, I felt sad because up to that point, that had been my favorite helmet and I was thinking of purchasing a new one. With the IS-33 II, I don't miss the AC-3 anymore. I love everything about this helmet. From the styling, to the fit and comfort, to the features. I can't wait to take this on a long ride out of town. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a three quarter helmet.
Top Notch Helmet
Posted onI have always liked HJC for good quality at a good price. My complaint with all helmets is the hassle if you wear eyeglasses trying to get them into the helmet and sit correctly on your ears. This helmet has channels to guide your eyeglasses onto your ears with ease first shot. Very nice fitting true to the chart. As always, Jafrum delivered in a few days and I am on the East Coast.
Improved HJC 33
Posted onI ride without a windshield so need a helmet with a full face shield. The pull down shade is slick and a plus for comfort. The helmet is very comfortable and the space around the ears is nice and big so it will allow you to wear a BlueTooth in comfort. I wear eyeglasses and it has always been a hassle to get them on and sit right. The channels cut away for eyeglasses is the biggest feature of all for me. Very pleased
HJC IS-33 II Review
Posted onThis is my 2nd HJC helmet and I love it as much as the first one my wife uses. This one fit a little tighter going on over my ears but once on fit perfectly and is very comfortable. I already have an intercom system installed on it. If you're looking for a great 3/4 helmet with a full face shield give it a try. You won't be sorry.
