Posted onI have had this jacket for over a year and in the South the temps change from low to high in one day. I had this jacket on last week end and the Temp went from a High of 82° to a low of 42° in the span of about 8 hours. I had the liner in the trunk and easy change to add liner plus the visibility. I don't ride without it.
Needed A Good HI-Viz Riding Jacket
Posted onREASON for PURCHASE; After having someone turning left in front of me, being thrown form my bike, and breaking some ribs. I now wanted a high-viz jacket.
TEMPERATURE; The lowest I've ridden in is 27F. I tested this jacket at 36F yesterday, with the liner out, and my personal zip-up fleece underneath. This black you see on the chest of this jacket is a mesh only. So, the wind came right thru. I'll rate that ride as "COLD". I then removed my fleece, and tested the jacket with the zip-up liner in, wearing only a T-shirt. The jacket was still a little warmer than my fleece, but still "COLD". TO COMPARE; I currently have a 2x Brooks riding jacket which keeps about 100% of the wind out. I use this when I ride below 50F .
FIT; The 2x fits the same as my 2X Brooks riding jacket, which is great.
FEATURES; the pockets are great. The inside zip-up pocket is large enough to fit my iPhone 6Plus. The gun pocket is huge, which is a plus. This is big enough for me to carry my lunch in, for work.
CONCLUSION; I purchased know this is a 3 season jacket. I'm not disappointed. A great bang-for-the-buck. This is a great jacket for what I paid. Before finding this I was looking at jackets which were double-triple the price.
Posted onI like it very much.
Posted onI am 5'10" and 225 lbs. I ordered a size XL jacket and it was a bit tight when zippered. So, I returned it for a refund and purchased another Hi Vis mesh jacket in 2XL.
Very Good Jacket For The Price
Posted onGot this jacket about 4 months ago, works great in South Alabama with the vent openings, the zip out liner is great as they will crush up into a very small area for storage and we needed it last week when the temp turned off about 25° colder than that morning. We put the linings and came home very comfortable, only reason not giving a 5 star is my watch catches on the sleeve constantly. Will buy another one.
Posted onExtremely happy with the Men's CE jacket. Feels like a quality product and rides well.
MJ474 Black Jacket Review
Posted onI took a star off for the fit. I have never had a problem wearing an XL, but this jacket is snug to say the least. Everything else about this jacket is super. Been riding without the liner and the airflow thru the mesh is great. Don't notice the armor at all and at this price, I am very pleased.
Posted onLiked all the features and the price so decided to get it. I was very happy when I received it because the quality and fit was excellent. Rode with it the next day and was very happy with feel of it while riding could hardly tell it had armor inserts, looking forward to upcoming trip with my new jacket.
Posted onVery nice jacket. Sizing seems about right. All armor in right spots. Very happy with purchase.
