Posted onI've had these jeans for a couple of years now so I've had the opportunity to give them a workout. First of all - the waist is a bit tight. I wear a 42 and the waist is definitely snug. If they made a larger size, I'd tend to go that way. Other than that, they're very comfortable. They're cut nice through the butt and thighs and don't seem to have any annoying seams to cause pressure points so they're comfortable to sit in for hours at a time. The denim is nice and heavy and appears to be good quality. The look is stylish enough to be worn as "regular" jeans also. The length is perfect to fit my taller frame (6'3") and cover the tops of my boots so I don't get wind blowing up my legs. The Kevlar lining is very soft so they feel good against the skin. I didn't buy armor but the option appeals to me. NOTE: They MUST be washed in COLD water and line dried so if you get some grease on them, be prepared to pre-treat the spots.
