Scorpion ExoCT220 Bixby Review
Posted onPros...Very nice helmet fits correctly with nice drop down shield. Nice fit at the cheek pads, vents on top work excellent and are designed to channel past the inside webbing. Both face shield and removable visor work as advertised. The shield has a little tab on the left side that when down it sort of locks into place, along with the little guides that hold the shield in place there is almost no wind noise. Fits nice and snug. Cons... The helmet is a bit tight at the straps when opening it up to put it on, and the area around your ears inside is shallow for speakers unless they are wafer thin. If you don't use speakers as for communication you will be just fine. 2 handed operation changing from visor to shield. Would be nice if they made a visor onto the shield.
Scorpion Exo CT220 Solid Review
Posted onFirst off, I was very hesitant to purchase a helmet online. I've had to return one helmet and a rain suit because of size issues. Jafrum lived up to there policy and took them back without any trouble.
Overall the helmet is just ok. First off, I don't particularly like how the visor attaches. It doesn't really "lock" into place. So, if you accidentally bump it, it will flip up on you. It hasn't been a problem while riding though. The other issue I had was the interior of the helmet. Along the top of the head, they could have put more soft padding to cover the impact foam. There are parts of the foam that stick out enough to bother my head. I head to add some extra padding to solve the problem. The helmet is lightweight, which is a plus and I like that you can switch out the visor for the shield.
