Perforated Design Motorcycle Saddlebags.
The Zip-off Slant Throw-over Saddlebags from Jafrum offer you a lot of great features at a low price. These black bags, for example, may look like genuine leather. But they are actually made out of PVC, which means they are durable and very easy to care for. They also feature heat protection. These bags, which are a nice size at 14.5 inches long by 10.5 inches high by 6 inches deep, can be zipped off when you want to carry them with you. Plus the carrying handles on these bags are easy to access, but stay hidden out of sight until you need them. These bags also feature two interior pockets so that you can keep your smaller items close at hand.
Dimensions: 14.5" L x 6" D x 10.5" H
- Zip off bag
- Quick Release Buckles
- Two inside pockets
- Adjustable yolk so you can hang the bags high or low
- Heat Protection
- Cover snaps on both ends
- Hidden handle
Motorcycle Saddlebags Mounting Instructions
Measure distance horizontally from the edge of the rear turn signal to where the passenger would be aligned on the seat. Next, measure the distance vertically from the exhaust pipe to approximately two inches below the top of the rear fender.
*Please remember to allow at least one inch clearance between the bottom of the saddlebag and the exhaust pipe. This will prevent the saddlebag from being damaged by touching the exhaust pipe.
Generally, to install throw-over saddlebags to your bike, you would need to remove the passenger seat. You would then ensure that the hook and loop connectors are firmly pressed together and secure bonding the two bags. To ensure additional stability, use the strap at the top of one saddlebag and thread through the double d-ring on the other saddlebag. Place the saddlebags on the top of your bike and adjust to how you want the bags to sit. After this is complete, re-install your passenger seat back on the bike. There are additional straps on the bottom of the saddlebags for added security and stability as well.
Posted onI purchased these bags for my bike shortly after I bought it last December. Then just a little over a month ago, I had somebody pull out in front of me on a very busy road. Ended up grabbing the clutch and the brakes, to inevitably end up laying the bike down instead hitting the car. These bags not only stood up to the impact at 55-60mph, but the bike slid on top of the left saddlebag for about 100 feet. If it wasn’t for these saddlebags, my bike probably would’ve been totaled. They saved the bike from any damage to the tank, fenders, and frame. Will definitely be purchasing another set as soon as they’re back in stock.
Fits My 1999 Honda Shadow Aero Perfectly
Posted onLove the bags. Perfect size. Well constructed. Highly recommended. Fits my 1999 Honda Shadow Aero perfectly.
Just Too Small For A c50 Boulevard (800 Suzuki)
Posted onNice looking but small. Bags should be photographed on a motorcycle for reference, tape measure isn't a good visual. Nice, just too small for a c50 boulevard (800 suzuki).
Excellent Product And Price
Posted onI was skeptical at first when buying these for my Suzuki M50 since the cost was so low. I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived! They are simple to install and look great! They are very durable as well and can hold everything I need for my cruises or errands for the wife. I would have paid at least double to triple of the fifty something bucks I paid for them. I highly recommend these bags!
Posted onPurchased Saddlebags. Arrived quickly. Look good on Motorcycle.
Posted onGood looking bags. Just really small. They should have them on an actual motorcycle for easy reference to sizing. Using a tape measure beforehand didn't cut it. I have a 800 boulevard and these just look like toys.
Vulcan 1600 Classic
Posted onVery well made and look great. Fit my bike perfectly, about 3 inches above exhaust. The slant matches the angle of the shocks and rear fender. They stay put when riding and they seem very durable. This is the third set of bags for this bike and they are the nicest. Much better quality than other pvc bags I've had in this price range.
Perforated Design Saddlebags On A 2004 Harley Fatboy
Posted onA Great deal and Price! Look great. Put on a 2004 Harley Fatboy. Great alternative on a budget. Only issue was when installed hard time putting seat back on due to thickness.
Saddlebags SD1487 Review
Posted onI bought these for a VT1100C Honda Shadow Spirit based on another review stating they fit the same bike. However, they were a little too long to fit between the shocks and turn signals. I was ready to return them but decided to try them as a "throw over" style instead of under the rear seat. After a bit of adjusting they fit pretty good now. I have been very satisfied with them. A very good product for the money. Sturdy and plenty of room inside for your gear. Quick release snaps could be a little better, but are functional. Good service and quick delivery. I would recommend them.
Saddlebags for Kawasaki Mean Streak
Posted onQuick delivery. Product looks great. I just needed a little extra space to go with my Tombstone bag. Haven't ridden with them on the bike yet. The universal brackets I purchased do not work on my Kawasaki mean streak. Once I figure that out they will work fine.
